  • Great video ! I will try this.

  • nice! by the way that paradiddle-diddle thingy is a six-stroke roll :)

  • @allmetaliswelcome yeah, i figured it out recently. i use it even more now i now what it is!

  • @dave90mckeague by the way dave how long have you been playing? your technique is so tight :)

  • @allmetaliswelcome thanks! erm, around 6 1/2 years i think? i've tried to concentrate on rudimental technique a lot, isolating the wrists and fingers really helps!

  • @dave90mckeague what? 6 1/2 years? what kind of rudimental did you practice? and how long a day? sorry for my insane interest but your technique is INSANE man!

  • @allmetaliswelcome i just practice when i can. i practice by playing with brass bands and trying to apply rudiments to real-life situations (rather than just chopping-out on a pad). when you realise that rudiments can be played outside themselves, like in musical phrases, and you start seeing them when reading music, they become much more natural. and yeah thats 6 and a half (6.5) years, sorry if it wasnt clear!!

  • @dave90mckeague clear as an acrylic drum.

  • good stuff
