Why haven't Komets been draged near to the american bomber formations? It's range was too short , so if the Jerrys would have draged it by something like an Me410 close to the bombers it would have much more time to attack. It was originally a small glider so it must have worked. It's armament should be different also - two powerfull Mk 103 under the fuselage instead of the short range Mk 108s.
here is another nazi secret weapon...demolition cars, unmanned like a UAV but only used during the berlin attack and die qlocke is real and shaped like a bell and was supposed to be able to fly vertically.
These asshole documentary producers who feel the need to stick shitty music on top of the original sounds and ruin the whole effect of hearing the first rocket plane at take-off !!! It's not a circus act you vulgar shitheads, it's science. Respect it.
Hitler has a very powerful imagination and pushed his people in many directions. He also was able to fix the broken German economy. To bad he was so evil.
D-Day was mainly about stopping the Russains and the spread of Communist whitch was a bigger threat than the defeated Axis. Also to gain the nazi technology and scientists and experts to use against Russia, The Cold war started in WW2, By Churchill. Both Britain and America HATED Russia and the COMMUNISTS, The Allies just wanted Russia to keep fighting the main axis forces in the eastern front.
@colintraveller You think?? Honestly?? Look at the relation with British Empire,America and the Soviets! Look at the secret Operation the Allies done 1944-45 to make sure Soviets didnt get there hands on Nazi sacientists and experts, technology, etc etc! By 1944 the biggest threat to the world was Russia!
If they thought of this stuff earlier in the war then they could have won it with V2 rockets and Me-262, they could have used fear in order to gain some ground claim to have built a atomic bomb. If it wasn't for Hitler waiting so long then he could have saved his Reich from falling and maybe control all of Europe by now most likely more than that.
Nazi Germany produced the first assault rifles, surface-to-air missiles, jet fighters, flying wing jets, first ballistic missiles, first smart bombs, first proto-type attack helicopters, etc., etc.
I don't care what they did to people, the Nazi State was an intellectual heavy-weight and under grave circumstances of bombing and pillaging.
@RadicalFiction, very true. Luckily, with the outbreak of the Cold War almost immediately following WW2, and with the harsh treatment of Germans by Russians, the Germans in the U.S. worked just as hard if not harder to help them in the technology race and beat the Russians.
Of course, the Russians lacked the German engineers/scientists and certainly didn't have the intellect on their own to keep up, so they resorted to mass espionage and stealing, etc.
@1stLtDavis hence, even thought they did create the world biggest bomb with the largest boom, the TSAR BOMBA it wasnt as great as american precision with their weapons.
little did the russians know that in the rapidly advancing battle field it wasnt he who has the larger hammer but the more precisely thrown sickle that wins.
@RadicalFiction, that is true. I had always thought that it was the Americans, namely in the Persian Gulf just 20 years ago, to use the first true smart bombs, for example. I was absolutely floored to find out about weapons like the X-1 (1943-1945) which had direct video feed from a camera on the bomb to a TV in the bombardier's station!
Walter did only contruct the rocket engine, he did by no means ever design the aircraft, that was achievement of Prof. Lippisch and his crew;
plus the courageous testpilot Heini Ditmar busted the 1000 km/h barrier already in 1941 in the 163 A - which was a glider only- proved by the DFS - Deutsche Forschungsanstalt für Segelflugzeuge - just later versions, the 163 B - the comet was powered by the rocket engine;
tHE germans had even a model for stealth bomber with expensive anti radar coating,
Technology or advanced infantry fighting tatics doesn't win over numbers, the russians had numbers they would send waves over waves of soldiers and tanks against germans, prevailing, they had more than 400 infantry divisions at the end of ww2, they didn't get Europe because STALIN already had acess of information of ATOMIC BOMB, KGB had spies in LOS ALAMOS.
Helmuth Walther that i read about had his role on the me-163 mainly on the Rocket Engines Development, geral design & co is atributed to Alexander Martin Lippisch
The Luftwaffe, to a point, WAS technically superior, but also remember that it was at first primarily designed to support the ground forces. @worsethanamistake You are dead wrong. Technically, the Germans were years ahead of the allies. Even the Russians had tanks that were technically far superior to the American Sherman. superior my ass. German machinery is not nimbleand it never has been. Spitfires where more nimble. Today german cars are almost 100% Italian design and tecnology. The atomic bomb was an Italian invention, the german one was to heavy to fly
I'm too sorry, Nicolaus August Otto, a German, invented the 4-stroke in 1862 :)
If you count the number of patents, that were made per inhabitant, Germnay is leading. And Germany outnumbers all European countries and even the USA <- and them by 3 times. But don't bother: not even Barack Obama knows, that the car was invented in Germany.
Okey, you may be right about Nicolaus august otto, Rolf Diesel was a german too he invented the first engine that burned about anything from petrol to maisseed oil, later the petrol industry took it also over (so they invented about 3 types of engines if you count also Wankel (rotational engine).
I alwais tought the first conbustion engine was invented by a frenchman.
About the VW it was Giugaro that designed it. But they will never admit that.
@215alessio Why cant Italians field a decent tank for themselves then? Or a decent anything for that matter? This stuff was German, through and through.
They were doomed from the early 1930s.....soon as Einstein realized Germany was headed in the wrong direction....all the fancy conventional weapons in the world couldn't have saved the "master race"....
the StG44 it ist not a pistol it is a rifle. got it?
The german technolgie was superrior of the rest of the word: rokets (like the V2), Cars (Beatle), turbojet, nucler bomb...
but this is just engeneering, the problem is that you need matrial to built it and a political correct sourrounding, wich was not given in the 3 Reich. So many engeneers abandonned or abscond. The German gouvernment didn't accapt reality, and this is poison for good engeneering,..
@fluffy1931 Haha, you stupid american do some real research, the nazis had atomic weapons before the allies did, the SS E-IV were already searching into much more advance things like free energy and anti gravity.
@66TotalEclipse hey assfag. Germany epic fail never even constructed a working nuclear reactor prior or during WW2 go research more fantasy nazi fagtard technology. unicorns penis breath. gtfoh
@66TotalEclipse Although, they didn't have any allies besides the Italians Hungarians, Romanians, Bulgarians, Croats and Bosnians (who were not technologically matched with the US or UK.
@MrRAPTORFAG Deutschland was the most powerfull nation in the side of the axis, it didn't matter if their supporting nations were less below them. The allies were literally fighting over german scientist after the war, and under project paperclip many went to the US and worked in Nasa, like Von Braun.
@MrRAPTORFAG To be fair, Italy produced some very fine fighters during WWII, though Italy weren't prepared to go to war until 1943, and their tanks were pretty bad and obsolete.
@66TotalEclipse Heard about the Katyusha rocket launcher? The T-34 medium tank, the KV- and Iosef Stalin-series of heavy tanks? The atom bomb? The B-29 bomber?
@Gromit801 The topic of atomic bombs and the nazis is still speculated, There are views that the nazis were working on atomic bombs and tested them on Rügen island just north of Peenemuende were many high tech weapons and rockets like the V2 were being built. There also exist a German map showing the projected destruction of their atom bomb on new york city, were they planned to bomb an area near down town new york. The only thing they didn't have was a proper delivery system.
@66TotalEclipse actually you are wrong, they did have a proper delivery system, the Amerika Bomber. While there was many variants built, like the (Ju-something lol) that flew OVER New York, and flew back to Berlin with fuel to spare. The problem was the trigger system wasn't complete. I am not arguing your point, just sharing knowledge.
@Bobisawesome100 no they didn't really have a proper delivery system at the time, maybe later on they did. But its true that germans were flying around areas of new york like they were looking for a target area to drop the bomb because maps do exist that show the impact capacity on NY. I've also heard they were looking at rockets as a delivery system for these bombs, afterall A-4 aka the V2 was the first ever Icbm. The MAIN point here is that there are still many things we dont know about ww2.
@66TotalEclipse ..,keep sniffing asscracks , dude. There is no speculation about nazis working on a atomic bombs except for nazi fagtards fapping in their mom & dads basement. Germany never constructed even a working nuclear reactor, period. Germany did not even construct a cyclotron until 1944'. Your fantasy about germany nuclear program is just fantasy. They planned, dream on. lol. Germany did not even have delivery system like a long range bomber to deliver any type of nuclear weapon. gtfoh
@66TotalEclipse..,you forgot the herd of magical & mystical unicorns? Besides being faithful to National Socialism they would have made a perfect delivery system.
@fluffy1931 listen idiot just do the research on the subject enstead of acting like some asshole, u know they have books out there that speak on those very subjects.
@66TotalEclipse Don't listen to him. he's a troll. he calls anyone who mentions that the Nazis were superior to the Allies in any way a nazi fagtard and historical revisionist. He's doing the same to me when I said that IBM, Bayer, and Siemens were involved in the Holocaust.
@66TotalEclipse Based on what I've read about it they had a research program but not a development program. But they knew about the principle of a bomb, Hitler was shown a cartoon film of England being blown up by one.Of course by that time Germany already looked like a lunar landscape...
@Gromit801 haha they could of if they hadnt scared Einstein away.
Einstein laid the ground work for that stuff.
nearing the end of the war though they started to catch on but it was too late, and where did all those scientists get whored out to? either Russia, so it can get started on their Nuclear Program or the US to further expand their already existing one.
German cars are not bad, just overpriced, and then they make you drink the kool-aide.
Example: MG-42 gunner would always be outgunned by the M-2 50 caliber machinegun, but the germans keep nattering on about how many misses they could get from their machine guns.
ew what an aggressive hun. Couldnt read the whole post, too ugly language use from a barbaric time thief.
Everybody knowing what was up will see it was the other way round. Read history, everybody can read about it. the backchecking took 3 days. Clearly it was hitler giving the order to stop, the staff was frustrated and it took 3 full days till it was confirmed by him. He wrote himself what he felt for the brits.
Here is a clear example of why all anglosaxon technology derives from german technology:THE FIRST MODERN JET.Nuclear warfare?German invention.Chemical Warfare?German invention.Yep,every single modern thing that mutilates, destroys and shreds to pieces was taken by the US and british from german scientists,or even worse:given away by german scientists..lol
Hitler never wanted war against britain, he says that clear. As bad and evil as the man was... he spared the life of the british army at Dunquerke/Dünkirchen.
nazi assfag. Hitler didn't spare the british army at Dunkirk he cockblocked his OKW German high command and stopped their advance. Internal nazi cockblocking from asassination plots between Hitler and his German high command - documented from as early as 1939' when he sacked his OKW chief of staff ( Werner Blumberg ) on the eve of war for spite. Repeated attacks including / treason/ assassination plots on the Fuhrers' life throughout WW2. So much for German loyalty and Prussian honor.
hey assfag. Germany declared war on the United States not the other way around. Go back and put your head up your butt and pull out another whacky nazi asshat fact.
Fluffy problem with people like you is the reason why history is so distorted.you typical ignorant...How can you make judgement when you are fill with hate...I am neither condoning or hating Nazi glory, simply stating facts. US policy still hinders other nations growth to be superpower...Once oil is middle-east gone, US will stop preaching democracy in east...Effectively powerful nations are destroying humanity in long term for everyone in the world..
Now Eric! Did you obtain your "permit to work" in triplicate and sign yours? Then did you carry out a "risk assessment" and file it with the Health and safety executive? Did you ask yourself who was at risk and how they were at risk? Did you write it down? Did you post warning signs. Will you be reviewing your findings regulalry? Well ok then, Eric, you can go to the ball!
Wow, takeoff then crazy fast vertical climb! And the fuel . . . you don't even need to ignite it. It just goes by itself. Big balls to fly that sucker.
As a German I am proud of german technology. We invented the rocked engine and other famous things like the helicoper ...
Unfortunately a little austrian bastard came to our country and started WW2. In history Germany will forever be related to WW2, but it was not a german, it was an austrian motherfucker who started WW2.
Hi, sorry I dont want to praise my country now, I am not patriotic ,but I have to correct you. The Helicopter was invented by Heinrich Focke 1936, that is a fact.
4th-century China- concept of vertical flight was designed 1480 - Leonardo Da Vinci made a vertical flight machine BUT IT DIDN'T FLY ect ect. FIRST HELICOPTER FLIGHT 1906 - France Gyroplane No.1 NOT 100% helicopter 1907 - France Cornu helicopter. project abandoned THE FIRST REAL HELICOPTER In WW1 HGC made the PKZ the first real helicopter FIRST MODERN HELICOPTER IS HUNGARIAN
maybe you should have told the soviets that since their intelligence operations penetrated the highest reaches of Germanys High Command - OKW and the Fuhrers inner circle. The Soviets GRU Intelligence operations including Red Orchestra,Lucy Ring virtually insured the Soviets recieving secret German plans like operation 'Citadel' the Soviets had the German order of battle down to bn. level before German field commanders evern recieved their orders. pwnd
germans are the best ever .

superior my ass. German machinery is not nimbleand it never has been. Spitfires where more nimble. Today german cars are almost 100% Italian design and tecnology. The atomic bomb was an Italian invention, the german one was to heavy to fly
215alessio 2 years ago
Right ^^ As was the main part of a car, the 4-stroke engine, inventd in italy. Haha.
cpacer 2 years ago
No that was French. 4 stroke engine
Italian did: Self Substaining chassis (lighter and safer)
Common rail Diesel
Valve control
Semi Automatic shift gear box (F1 by Ferrari)
anti intrusion door bars
Italian designed the Golf 1 and for VW. this concept didn't exist on german cars only on fiat and Mini Leyland
An Italian created the Isetta for BMW and Messershmit after the war,
If you guys where superior, why does every time an Italian have to design the stuff you buld?
215alessio 2 years ago
I'm too sorry, Nicolaus August Otto, a German, invented the 4-stroke in 1862 :)
If you count the number of patents, that were made per inhabitant, Germnay is leading. And Germany outnumbers all European countries and even the USA <- and them by 3 times. But don't bother: not even Barack Obama knows, that the car was invented in Germany.
cpacer 2 years ago
I just read: the concept and the technical basis of the Golf 1 were designed by Volkswagen. Despite this concept existed in form of the VW EA 276.
cpacer 2 years ago
Okey, you may be right about Nicolaus august otto, Rolf Diesel was a german too he invented the first engine that burned about anything from petrol to maisseed oil, later the petrol industry took it also over (so they invented about 3 types of engines if you count also Wankel (rotational engine).
I alwais tought the first conbustion engine was invented by a frenchman.
About the VW it was Giugaro that designed it. But they will never admit that.
215alessio 2 years ago
I don't care if a foreigner designed a car, because this is not important :)

I invented fire.

MP = means automatic pistol in german
the StG44 it ist not a pistol it is a rifle.

@MrRAPTORFAG Deutschland was the most powerfull nation in the side of the axis, it didn't matter if their supporting nations were less below them. The allies were literally fighting over german scientist after the war, and under project paperclip many went to the US and worked in Nasa, like Von Braun.
66TotalEclipse 1 year ago
@MrRAPTORFAG To be fair, Italy produced some very fine fighters during WWII, though Italy weren't prepared to go to war until 1943, and their tanks were pretty bad and obsolete.

And yet, they couldn't figure out the atomic bomb. They weren't even close, because they went in the wrong direction.
They clung to the old Mauser bolt action, when the US GI's had the M1 Garand.
They couldn't produce a strategic bomber beyond a few prototypes.
I'll give you the Me-262 and V-2, but neither of those could have turned the war. They were too late and too little.
Gromit801 1 year ago
@Gromit801 The topic of atomic bombs and the nazis is still speculated, There are views that the nazis were working on atomic bombs and tested them on Rügen island just north of Peenemuende were many high tech weapons and rockets like the V2 were being built. There also exist a German map showing the projected destruction of their atom bomb on new york city, were they planned to bomb an area near down town new york. The only thing they didn't have was a proper delivery system.
66TotalEclipse 1 year ago 18
@66TotalEclipse the nazis where working on an atomic bomb but the best scientist they had was jewish and so he had to run away and he went to america
BetterThenI 1 year ago
@66TotalEclipse actually you are wrong, they did have a proper delivery system, the Amerika Bomber. While there was many variants built, like the (Ju-something lol) that flew OVER New York, and flew back to Berlin with fuel to spare. The problem was the trigger system wasn't complete. I am not arguing your point, just sharing knowledge.
Bobisawesome100 10 months ago
@Bobisawesome100 no they didn't really have a proper delivery system at the time, maybe later on they did. But its true that germans were flying around areas of new york like they were looking for a target area to drop the bomb because maps do exist that show the impact capacity on NY. I've also heard they were looking at rockets as a delivery system for these bombs, afterall A-4 aka the V2 was the first ever Icbm. The MAIN point here is that there are still many things we dont know about ww2.

@66TotalEclipse ..,only in your fantasy dude. The A-4 or V2 range was roughly range of 200 miles.
No it wasn't the first ever Icbm.
How could it be a intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) if the A-4 or V2 range is a measly 200 miles?
ICBM intercontinental ballistic missile is defined as a ballistic missile with a 'long range' (greater than 5,500 km or 3,500 miles).
your misinformation is pathetic.
fluffy1931 9 months ago
@66TotalEclipse ..,keep sniffing asscracks , dude. There is no speculation about nazis working on a atomic bombs except for nazi fagtards fapping in their mom & dads basement. Germany never constructed even a working nuclear reactor, period. Germany did not even construct a cyclotron until 1944'. Your fantasy about germany nuclear program is just fantasy. They planned, dream on. lol. Germany did not even have delivery system like a long range bomber to deliver any type of nuclear weapon. gtfoh

German cars are not bad, just overpriced, and then they make you drink the kool-aide.
Example: MG-42 gunner would always be outgunned by the M-2 50 caliber machinegun, but the germans keep nattering on about how many misses they could get from their machine guns.

nazi assfag.

As a German I am proud of german technology. We invented the rocked engine and other famous things like the helicoper ...
Unfortunately a little austrian bastard came to our country and started WW2. In history Germany will forever be related to WW2, but it was not a german, it was an austrian motherfucker who started WW2.
YES WE CAN!
TobiasGERMANY 2 years ago 2
Unfortunately no, Germans did not invent the rocket engine.
The principle was discovered by Romans (steam rocket), and later put into a military use by, who else, the Chinese (black powder rocket).
Germans did, however, create the V-2 that was the first rocket to ascend to an altitude over 100km.
The principle of the helicopter came from China and the first helicopter capable of lifting it's pilot from France.
