  • looks like the sort of thing that tears a hole in space-time once you spin it up to relativistic speeds

  • i just learned about angular momentum today and how gyroscopes work. pretty cool stuff.

  • How work does it :}

  • Can I get this in detailed slowmo

  • Why is it just moving on its own apparently?

  • @hughtub Because I am blowing on it ;-)

  • is this a sangheili arum in the working? :P

  • Okay, coils on the ribs, magnets on the hubs... I'd bet you'd get a funky wave form outta that. Could lead us into another dimension ;-)

  • This is making me think of Pandora's Star :))

  • WWWWWWHHHHHOOOOOOAAAAAAA!!!!!!

  • he is blowing on it, thats why there is no sound.

  • WHERE CAN I BUY ONE OF THESE!!!!

  • @BrentKung89 See link in the description :-)

  • i'm thinking about buying one and was wondering:

Does it work as well when you use other materials that look a bit more elegant then the white platic thingy :D

Hope you can help me :)

  • @BelviGER It is available in black, dark grey, red and indigo, which all have the same properties as the white material.

There is also an Alumide version, which is a more sparkly but less flexible material.

  • looks light your blowing compressed air on it

  • @canttalkshit Nope, pure lung work ;-)

  • what is it suppose to do

  • @2281nacole This :-)

  • Had one printed to give as Xmas gift. Impressive as an object, though it hardly moved as freely as the video suggests. Maybe needs to "bed in " ?

  • @garethygog Yes, because of slight printing variations, sometimes the cubes need to wear in a little.

All the cubes I handled, moved as smoothly and rapidly as in the video, after a short while!

  • How is this useful? Is it a better waste of time than "fushigi"? If so, how.

  • so what makes it move?

  • Thanks, you just broke my mind...

  • show me the secret, magicman!

  • drop something throught the middle and you might make contact

  • @virtoxnet It's DaddyMack and I know you're a witch! Obey the laws of physics dammit!

  • @mack3D lol

  • burn him... He's a witch!

  • @mack3D Not true, I just hire an external company for the witchcrafting..

  • Look at the shadows. The video has been manipulated in some way.

  • I think, I'm gonna buy one...

Do you send it to Germany too?

  • @CoxTH Yes, we ship world-wide!

  • how does it work?

    Medic: I HAVE NO IDEA!!!!

    me:of course.....

  • incredible, were can i find some good sites in order to make a 3d print machine?

  • @notengonickcojones Best do a search search for reprap/huxley

  • wow--bet you could create some really cool toys with this machine

  • @micmoable Check out Shapeways, lot of cool stuff on there!

  • witchcraft!!

  • @BuFu1O1 Why thank you!

  • WITCH!

  • @peteandstar Thanks!

  • Stop-motion.

  • Is this all printed in one piece, no assembly required?

  • @Nomoreidsleft That is correct, it is printed as one assembly, but for better clearances though it needs some minor assembly, please refer to link in description for full details.

  • is this based on a gyroscope?

  • @purplethig1998 Yes, more or less.

  • I want two of those to replace my testicles.

  • @Dankskees I just spontaniously burst into laughter!

  • @Dankskees haha blowjobs

  • Sorcery!

  • @covidiu Thank you!

  • @DeleteMeOnline To be more precise it is done using SLS Nylon :-)

  • @virtoxnet haha, yea at first i thought it was some kind of editing but then i realized what he was doing... that thing is pretty damn neat!

  • @woodburyadpost Thanks!

  • Thats kinda freaky. in a good way

  • @WibblyWobblyTime Thanks!

  • oh.. your blowing on it. I was about to accuse you of witchcraft and burn you

  • @ajsindri2 This is without a doubt the best comment I have seen on youtube in months, I thank thee.

  • @ajsindri2 Only witches don't know the difference between "your" and "you're" Who's the witch, now?

  • Do you have a recommendation for the best material for this design? I'd love to buy one but want the BEST one.

  • @hoakyman Depending if you prefer robustness or funkiness ;-) The coolest is probably the Alumide version, but it's more brittle. For durability I recommend the Black Strong Flexible or the Grey Strong Flexible.

  • pretty cool!

i would just set it in front of a fan and watch it all day :D

  • @antijelly At trade shows it stands on top of a small fan, hope to release a kit for that soon!

  • of course you read and watch harry potter, but you don't believe in magic when you see it

    LOL

  • is it supposed to be a puzzle?

  • @assassinfan1000 More of a mind-game ;-)

  • I'll tell you what you blew...my friggin' MIND!!!

  • @keetonbob Thanks :-)

  • FAke ! Your blowing is fake !!!! ... -.- j/k ^_^

  • @IOPzK lol

  • i just got it from shapeways it is zo simple

and cool i love it Thanks for designing it.

  • @hebogara My pleasure!

  • People think everything is fake. It's far more important to them that they not get fooled by a stop motion or rendered 3D video. Ironically, they end up getting fooled by reality instead.

  • @davidtoc2 :-D

  • @davidtoc2 You Sir are a really wise man

  • you blow on it and it moves i figured it out :)

  • why do people think it's fake? and what is it made of?

  • @AlistairAI First question : I don't know ;-) Second Question : It's made using Laser Sintered Nylon.

  • He is blowing on it.

  • how is this able to do this?

  • It's almost unbelievable that it moves so rapidly!!! If this is true, I may just order one from Shapeways.

  • @stardust4ever It's true :-)

  • well fake video. i don't doubt the thing may actually work, but expecting people to believe that the video shown does not use the 21st century super-technique alien technology known as 'stop-motion' is just stupid

  • @munkyhanger82 its wind powered read the description box!!!! its real

  • thats fake you took 1000 pics

  • @0kitty1cooper2zac You are right, that is so much easier than just print the thing..

  • how much did that set you back, and where can i order it? :D looks awesome

  • @3dchris89 About $25-$30, you can buy it at Shapeways, or follow link in the description!

  • Awesome, are you blowing at it?
