I think I know what caused the "firey" crash. Huge 18 wheeler hits a dump truck right in the fuel tank at about 70 mph. Bang! Case solved. You're welcome :)
@68Engine68 It can, but under special circumstances. If the semi impacted the rear of the tank and compressed the tank, it would cause the fuel to increase in combustion. This is why diesel engines have glow plugs and not spark plugs. Heat and compression cause the explosion. But you are correct that diesel does not react like gas.
Holy shit, the people behind the accident just got quite a show. Hard to miss a fireball like that. I bet half of em shit themselves...
