Correct....you can't live your life to please people. We must learn to live in obedience to God and His Word. God's people keep the commandments of God. This is the major qualifier as to who is or who isn't the 'people of God'.

This is a baseless assumption. A true believer cannot envision a fulfilled live without submission to an (imaginary) god.

4. Over a period of about 1,500 years.

Ask people who've viewed an identical event to each give a report of what happened. They will differ widely and virtually always contradict each other. Yet the Bible, penned by 40 writers over a 1,500-year period, reads as if written by one great mind. "Holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." 2 Peter 1:21. The Holy Ghost "moved" them all. He is the real Bible Author. The 4 Gospels do sometimes differ in the way they report the same event, but they complement each other.

I don't believe he stated that. I don't think it is nice to jump to accusations before hearing him out. If you listen to his entire series, or at the very least, this section.. you would be able to see that. *smiles* I encourage you to listen to all that is said. You can disagree if you wish, but don't call it brainwashing, no one is forcing anyone to believe anything.
