@hellcetchup yeah, the gathering have always been making amazing emotional music since the very beginning, and its great to see that they still do. Their music has such quality thats found in only a few other bands. its very hard for me to describe how much i love them. I can only say that they are one of my favourite bands if not the absolute favourite.
Silje si canta bien no que Annete (Nightwish) y Mariangela (Tristania) nomas me decepcionaron cuando las vi en vivo. Mientras Silje muestra la naturalidad de su canto, Anntte y Mariangela en su tiempo buscaban imitar a sus antecesoras...y quedaron muy mal. Ahora buscan un estilo mas porpio pero al menos para mi, no terminan de encajar con la banda.
The West pole es en cambio un gran ejemplo de como ser nueva, no siempre es malo, ella si encaja en The Gathering...
@RockVonZeppelin La banda estuvo hace un mes aproximadamente en mi país y pues sí, suena muy bien al vivo, espectacular voz la d Silje, además es un estilo similar el q venía haciendo con su antigua banda Octavia sperati. Sobre a Annete y Mary, no creo q ellas trataron d imitar a sus antecesoras. Solo q en un comienzo no se hicieron cortes de las canciones antiguas para q ellas pudieran cantarlas en su rango vocal. Por hoy les va genial a cada una, con el DDP y Rubicon, respectectivamnte. Salu2

Siljie sounds more at ease with the lesser notes, while she sounds unsure on the highers, in the refrain for example. I guess she was not accustomed to this singing style. But I'm faithful she will soon grow more skilled, and I just wish her good with the band.
