I see it's film financed by oil companies. Money from oil is used to build stadiums, roads and skycrapers, but doesn't ensure basic education and health service. Mbasogo must collect for his new cars.
obiang nguema is a billionare, dictator, he doesnt even deny sugetions that he is a cannibal, this is no racism, its shows the kind of leader who ocaasionaly heads the African Union. He wastes billions on posh hotels and hospitals, only to ensure they are show pieces allowing very few of his citizens to use them.
the governement is building housingfacilities, provide scholarship for students. This country is richer than spain. why are you hoping for Spain to be envolved, they wish their economy could be as prosporous as Equatorial Guinea. The West hate to see a non western country prosper. Have you ever met somebody from there? no, because they stay in heir country. THey are obviously happy there.
@manutebo100 Are you kidding me? Most of the population lives on <2$ a day, while the GDP is 35.000 per capita. Malabo is one of the few world capitals with neither a library nor a daily newspaper. And it took me about 20 seconds to realize this film was produced for the obiang regime. Like the African soccer cup hosted in equatorial guinea now, its costly PR. That money could have been spent on a working sewage system for malabo.
@hiphopson It also happens in countries that were former British and French colonies. They combine African with English and French names. In addition, half of the country's population emigrated to Spain after the independence so...
@ukusapillage Spain has built tons of infrastructures and urban projects in Malabo, also the 3 main airports of the country that have been built and later rebuilt (after the independence) by the Spaniards. Most teachers in the country are also from Spain, which offers free scholarships to the most talented students. It's obvious that they're close to each other, and in addition half of Guinea's population has moved to Spain between 1968 and the 1990s.
WAKE UP PEOPLE!! Open your eyes on reality: E.G. is the North Korea of Africa and with this PROPAGANDA they are only trying to polish their image to foreigners whilst their people leave in FEAR and monstrous POVERTY. PLEASE PLEASE don't be attracted like flies to a shiny piece of shit! Guinea is a wonderful country but its population is living under a ferocious dictatorship. They have no real access to the things shown in these videos. Its just the president and his family who gets the benefits
@21boxhead They are already owned by the US and their petrol companies, they already live under a western capitalistic state. Thats why we have to stop believing everything they tell us. Thats why we need to act and try to stop these people from killing, torturing and starve to death an entire population. Obiang is in power until the oil companies need him. He is making billions of dollars every year while the 800 thousand people of his country lack everything, from clean water to basic freedom
fuck yes he does hand it over to the west, he keeps his billions in us and freanch bank accounts. His son has a house in Malibu. This man is another african nutcase, he should start with providing for the street kids roming his capital-MALABO, it is however true that the naqtions owes money to no one.
@TheEwooz IMF, World bank, Free Market, globalization,Capitalism are cancers of the world the only real beneficiary is US/UK all leaders under there pay role should be assassinated on the spot.
I pray n hope the imperialists Britain, US and NATO do not do a Libya in Equatorial Guinea. Britain has already tried to plot a coup n failed so I hope we do not see that happen again. Africa needs a stable and successful Equatorial Guinea.
Wow! This is so cool to see African people speaking Spanish. I didn't know people in Africa really spoke Spanish. I mean it is the offical language of Equatorial Guinea but I did not know that people actually speak it. I thought they would speak French, English, or an African langauge. Now I really want to visit. Lol!

If they just put all the oil money into a bank account and pay out to the population in 2035, every citizen would be a millionaire.
