@speedraptor my friend, my friend, there is not real "version" for pc, BUT there is Project64, which u can download it, and roms of n64 games for it, which is just plain awesome :)

You couldn't be more wrong, there IS actually a PC version of Turok 2, I have it (bought the CD years a go). The game still works on modern systems but CD music won't work (there's a patch that fixes that though).

i agree. turok 2 is the best turok in the series. 3 was not that good, the new turok was good but seemed nothing like the series apart from the dino's. if they remake it they will probably let you carry only 2 weapons like most games these days. how annoying!

I hated that. It's only real use is for the flying things, since they're a pain in the ass to kill normally.

IMO, Hive of the Mantids and Lair of the Blind ones are the toughest levels in that game, just because you had to always run in circles.

I needed 2 Days for the Hive of the Mantids... I personally think that the lightship is the easiest one and the Hive the most difficult level.(Primagen is kinda easy if you got a flamethrower with full ammo: Shoot over his head(in a bow) on his back-- he dies as fast as an Entrail(sounds weird but it's true^^))

I wouldn't call them idiots. Using cheats such as god mode and infinite ammo take the challenge away from a game and therefore make it less fun, though. Cheats like Pen and Ink mode, Big Head mode, and Tiny Enemies mode, on the other hand, are quite amusing.

ok guys! if you wish 2 play t2, on windows xp, get the cd rom and and change exe turuk2english to just turok2, ie rename, and it will run,but you wont get musick so download muzik from cd too media player and play in backround.....

I remember this game. Too bad I have the German N64 version. Not only that the translation is sucky to medicore (e.g. "Nuke" is "Partikelbeschleuniger", which would mean something like "Particle Accelerator" in English) but it's also heavily censored. No splatter, no blood, nothing. In that version at ~0:45 the soldier is kneeling there alone. No blood, no corpses nothing. Just confusion o.O

Damn. Luckily Turok 3 was uncensored and left in English. But I always like the first two games more...

Der entschärfte Hirnbohrer ist aber auch lustig. Als ich in Turok 3 die Hirnmasse hab spritzen sehen, fand ich das Teil noch geiler ^^. Und in der deutschen Version vom zweiten Teil? Der Gegner steht da rum und das Ding geht hoch. Nix passiert, Kopf noch dran -.-

Auch die Übersetzung teilweise... "Nuke" zu "Partikelbeschleuniger" zu machen... also echt.

hmmm ich weis nicht so schlecht is diese bezeichnung ja nicht aber ich finde die hätten die nuke aus dem zweiten teil mit dem effekt mit dem chronocepter aus dem ersten teil verbinden sollen....ich frag mich warum die nuke so nutzlos gegen den endgegner ist...? wie hieß der primagen?

hingegen beim ersten teil konnte man den endgegner mit dem chronocepeter fastbesiegen...vom aussehen is die nuke cooler als der cepter..aber der effekt vom cepter find ich irgenwie besser...
