  • Wonder how much better they would sound if they had music....... Go attend a sanctified church and sing this with music, you will see and feel the difference... But they sound pretty good!!!!!

  • it don't sound accapella to me....if the you can strech skin over a cylinder and make a drum out of it and beat it...then whats the diffrence in beathing your hands togather...i would encourage you guys not to clap and sing...remember col 3:16 and Eph 5:19!!!!!

  • Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

  • Perfect example of why we should not clap. One it is off. Two it is distracting.

  • One thing about the church of Christ, we have THE BEST singing!! You get enough of us together, and throw songs around, even if you've never heard it before, you know it by the time it's over.

  • O_o

  • @snookumsweet it's not a conference jus fa blacks it's jus only blacks go.. I've never been to tht 1 bt we hav 1 in my state n if white ppl wntd to come thn they would. Bt all I got to say is dnt disrespect Tha Church of Christ makin us look lik all Tha black ppl in dis religion r racist jus no1 white came to tht 1 specific conference.

  • @2014Chic

mae gud blss yoo wit da gif of spelling.

  • --What blind cannot see WHAT JESUS has done--

for MILLENNIA, among true disciples? This is what rat bag atheists fight?

Do Catholics sing like this? Do Muslims? Do atheists gather together with boundless common joy that cannot be restrained?

Why won't the world admit the countless SOCIAL MIRACLES & charity Jesus has underwritten for 2,000 years? Jesus is God's Incarnation for mankind to see.

I hear the demons revving up their gainsaying. Scripture has been expecting you.

  • The Christians sang, "Glory to God & his Son, The Christ."

And the DEMONS retorted, "The crusades! Slavery! You Christians have a lot of explaining to do."

    And God made it clear:

--He who does what is sinful is of the devil--

because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil's work. -1st John Chapter 8

  • --God further said--

9 No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are:

Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother. -1st John Chapter 8

  • --This bursts my heart with joy & floods my eyes with happiness--

to see a few pulled out of the impurity & deceit of the world, away from the war & violence of Islam and into the SWEET HARMONY, the SINGING RAPTURE & FELLOWSHIP that warmly blankets churches that:

--TRULY give their FULL attention to Jesus' Word --

which is God's breath & Spirit & wholly TRANSFORMING to every humble soul willing to become "blind" that they may SEE our CREATOR: JESUS CHRIST

  • i love being church of christ .. yes God is more than able

  • @snookumsweet First if you are a member of the Church of Christ you would not ask if this was an all Black conference. Two why you so busy worrying about the white lady and christ say there is no jew nor greek. Third they were not in worship service. They were at some conference with other youth. You could be admonished if you shut your racist mouth, close your eyes and open your mind and read your Bible.

  • is this an all black conferance? just curious. I have never seen the church of Christ my whole life and im 64 ever do this sorta of accapella. this looks like the penticostal movement inflterating the body of christ im just sayin maybe if it was alittle more orderly i could have heard the words and been blessed or admonished sorry, u reckon its just cause im white? or is it about color at all? i just shocked i guess oops i saw a white lady in a blue shirt my bad... thanks for focusing in on her

  • All conventional habits go out the window when the Holy Spirit really takes over! Imagine doing this for all eternity! Praise God!

  • There will be singing and praise yes...but Christians will also be quite busy RULING OVER KINGDOMS and I am postulating from Scripture...galaxies and planets. Remember how God always said the remnant, though relatively small to the entire earth population, would nevertheless be numbered like the stars in the sky? Hint hint. And remember how he said he did not create the earth to be empty but inhabited? Even the earth was formless and empty once upon a time.

  • God loves all. Amen!!!

  • sound good

  • as good as this is sounding i didnt see darwin from SwCC class of 2000

  • @imageboyz08 He's in it! They both are actually. Darwin Mason SR. has a white collar shirt unbuttoned/no tie in the 1st part of the video. He's kinda in the center of all the singing. Then Darwin Mason JR @4:12 starts singing lead on " No weapon". You See Darwin Junior again really good @5:10

  • Oh my God!! I attended this and it's bringing tears to my eyes....My cousin was running for Miss Youth Conference from Ruleville, Mississippi.....Man bringing back memories and yeah I was out there singing my heart out also!!!

  • They need to sing like this in the Church of Christ that I attended as a child with my grandparents. Usually the singing was dry and boring.

  • This is such a good video. I wan't able to go to this one i was too young, but i did go to 2009 and 2010 and they were just amazing we didnt have this many people but i was fantastic.

  • Clearing up the misunderstanding about tithing in today's New Testament Church.

  • All thing's work out for the good of those who love the Lord who's called according to his purpose!

  • Beautiful, really love that first song - He is Able - amen!

  • My heart rejoices. Keep making a joyful noise for the LORD!!

  • There's nothing wrong with their praise. Who are we to tell anyone how to uplift Him. If this is how the Spirit moves them to rejoice in his word, then good for them.

Psalm 150:3-6 says 3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, 4 praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, 5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

  • @psyann107 @psyann107 Psalm 150 and 2 Chron. 29 show that the use of instruments in Jewish worship is a command from God. However, Christians are not bound to and do not live under the Old Covenant that God made with the Jews. We are under a new covenant ratified by the blood of Christ and taught in the New Testament. For this reason, we dont offer incense, or make animal sacrifices.

If i want to worship God in spirit and in Truth I need to look at the new covenant

  • ******Could someone please write out the words of HE'S ABLE for Soprano, Alto, Tenor and Bass. I would love to teach this song to others. ********

  • @flipdave05 If anyone answered this, can I have a copy as well - great song, love it.

  • can some one tell me, is this chruch of christ? i mean the Lord's church? what am see is not it at all, where in the bible did we have this type of worship..claping hands and dancing in the chruch; i mean we should becarfull so that we will not look like the denominations or miss the eternal Glory of God.

    from bro. Austine.

  • The Lord has not authorized any type of be-bopping, clapping, or other type of instrumental copies in singing in His worship or church. These things seem to be done to make the human flesh feel good. We need to be careful not to add to what the Lord has authorized. What book chapter and verse authorizes clapping, "ooing", be-bopping, one-cup communion, or other things that MAN has instituted?

  • @skittlesj526 i was with you until you talked about the one-cup communion. There were no little plastic cups back in the day. i attend a multi cup congregation but there is nothing wrong with one cup.

  • @rdsweet I am with you brother...i also attend a one cup congregation and have had public discussions/debates with individuals who contend that one cup MUST be used....the point they will not understand and can't get past is if we (the body) are suppose to use one cup, then that would mean the whole church and all the congregations would have to come drink from the same cup every sunday!!! Or else that would be dividing the cup....

  • Shame on everyone of you who have commented in the negative simply because they clapped their hands. There is liberty in Christ on matters of opinion and I'm sure none of these young Christians would impose their custom of clapping on you. Look at the faces of these young people shine! Look at the way they express their love for God and one another. My congregation doesn't clap when we sing, but it doesn't bother me one little bit if these young folks do.

  • @timothydebra No shame on you for not seeing the seriousness in the church being on one accord. If Im preaching one thing and they go to the national conference and learn something different that is a problem and leads to confusion. Cause if clapping is ok cause they do it what else is ok. Let's put some hamhocks on the table.

  • I see ya Darwin Sr., Darwin Jr. and Justin.

  • the bass and the tento"s had it going on..

  • Beautiful. I look forward to harmonizing with them in Glory someday!

  • and please post more videos like this all over the internet! :)

  • Whoever said that religion is the opiate of the masses needs to hear this music. This is genuine, spontaneous and divinely natural praise of our Creator - nothing like the dullness suggested by comparing it to the euphoric haze of opium. Praise the Lord! Live in His light!

  • I love this medley also

  • cant you get the 2009 conference it wuz good and i wuz there

  • I'm not sure why this is labeled; in response to Kirk Franklin's "He's Able" unless it was to get more hits... not even the same song.

  • it's called contrast, fanroe.

  • Why are they clapping?

  • That's the worldliness trying to slip in. If they go back to their congregations, I'm sure someone will set them straight; if they choose not to listen, then their actions are on their own heads, but the one who warned them has saved his/her soul. That's how these things start: outside of services then "indoctrinated" and brought into the one true church.

  • not sure where this comment came from, but I agree with it.

  • oh this was about clapping. Some congregations clap. Some of them rock and pat feet and pat hands on the pulpit to keep time. Some of them have elders, some have deacons, some are 1 cup churches. When it concerns the youth I'm just glad they ain't singing bout female dogs and prostitutes and n words. But the liberal congregations do a lot of stuff.

  • Our voices are the only instruments God gave us. They are, in my humble opinion, truly the most beautiful.

  • nice

  • oh man, this was the nyc i was supposed to have went to but didn't go at the last minute, hat i missed it.

  • you can tell god was in the midst

  • wow i just saw my cousin...this is old cause now he is a youth worker. great times!!!

  • what song is that about the mansion and a crown?

  • mansion robe and crown

  • Lord I want a mansion, robe and a crown in glory. I think it goes peace, love will always abound forever. Please reserve my mansion. well blah blah blah. I like heaven's on the other side.

  • I remember this night. Its funny to see it again after so many years. This was my first NYC. Thanks for posting this.
