The Germans are doing the encirclement tactics too many times..they should of bypass Kursk and went somewhere else that actually has a real military purpose.
Actually, the decision of Operation Citadel was made by Hilter alone. Almost all his general staff were against it as they see that offensive was no longer an option.
Unparalleled defense network. Only a minor flaw happened. The STAVKA expected the main push from the north against the Central Front - and hence strengthened esp. the 13th Army. But the best german troops were aimed against the weaker Voronezh Front in the south. There they penetrated much deeper into the Soviet defense lines - but even this was not half the way to Kursk.
Came with a sword, die from a sword. Napoleon, Hitler . Where are they ? Too stupid to fight Russia . We are calm until they came to OUR home. That was a lesson.
