  • Such a beautiful city. I miss Prague, and can't wait to visit again.

  • One mistake you made. Jan Hus was not catholic church reformer.

  • My 21YO daughter recently went on a cheap package deal to the Czech Republic with a few of her female workmates. However, as part of the deal they had to attend a ‘party night’ at a Prague nightclub- this turned out to be a ‘CFNM’ party (Clothed Female, Nude Male). They were plied with free alcohol & encouraged to perform vile sex acts on the male dancers.

Footage of this appalling spectacle has been posted on the internet. To my great disgust, she appears to be a willing participant.

  • POWER VERY PRAGUE SO most beautiful IN THE WORLD CZECH REPUBLIC AND GOOD BOSOM .-)))))

  • It´s one of the best cities in east europe.

I love everything of prague from the nice girls to sparta.

    Greetings from your polish neighbours.

    Slavic Power !

  • @TimeForLiberation Omg, are you kidding me? We are not east europe, but center!

  • I'm going for Valentine's ! Yeah baby !

  • i was there 2 weeks ago

  • I'm going on holiday to Prague. Can't wait! :D

  • Just went to Prague for the first time and loved it. So magical.

  • My wife and I were in Prague 2008. It was one crowded place. We liked the old city but found the tourists shops off putting. Also the ambiance of the ancient Charles bridge was totally ruined by the crowds of buskers, trincket sellers etc. Totally unnecessary. One goes to Prague to experience the history, I dont want to see crowds of people selling cheap crap in historical places.

  • @philpara1 profitable places are always crowded with cheap crap everywhere :(

But you can find some guides on internet that will lead you to places, visitors dont go. People always go to Castle, Charles bridge and to see astronomical clock. Well, there are many same bautiful sights

  • @philpara1 Yeah, I know what you mean and I don´t like it either. Those people just pay for good places, but there is so many of them in the old town. The same with all the pubs and restaurants. On the other hand, it´s not crowded here now in february :)

  • @philpara1 You are right, the problem is Prague is much more visited than other cities and places, even if they are beautiful as well. So these people who want to earn from tourists in every way concentrate themselves in Prague, and this wonderful sometimes seems to me a bizzare place somewhere else, not in my country. Try Brno, Olomouc, Hradec Králové and other cities where you can enjoy the real atmosphere of Czechia, not a post-Communist, wild-Capitalist jungle where all authenticity is lost.

  • @Zik2 Thank you for your reply and agreement. I think the lord mayor of Prague should be contacted and concerns expressed about the degradation of the Charles bridge by these street vendors. I liken it to a Mcdonalds restaurant at the Tower of London or at Hamton court. Could you imagine the british allowing that. Even here in Sydney buskers are strictly regulated and not allowed anywhere near historical/cultural buildings like the Opera house, government house etc. cheers

  • yeeeey, most beautiful city in whole world, the best memories EVER.. and of course with MOST BEAUTIFUL BOYS <3

<3 september 2010, never to forget...

  • @SweetBlondieZA hahaha... amen!

  • @SweetBlondieZA Czech republic have many interesting places.Greetings from CZ Olomouc city.

  • i miss prague! my home away from home. i just wish i could be given another chance to be there. i terribly miss prague! GOD bless you and your people always!

  • In some ways Prague is shown to better advantage when you get away from the circus of the Old town with all those terrible souvenir shops,Mcdonalds,KFC etc.

For example, there's the wonderful swimming pool complex which was one of the few good things the communists had to offer. The architecture en route is also amazing.

  • one of my favourite city in top list..:)

  • Hi Jacy,

I love Prague and your video! It is astonishing, how much you point in the short time, from Prague. Very good done! Many greetings from Dresden

    Welli

  • Prague was my favorite city in Europe

  • Just a few small mistakes(like house numbers) ,but otherwise not too bad ;)

  • wonderful prague!i was there in march with my school! amazing city!

  • youtube.com/user/MsDansD

    live video in Prague))"

  • In the address, you may give both with a slash. The red number should be the first (Streetname 1345/7). You may also give just one of the numbers (usually the blue one).

So this was just for clarification of the system :-)

  • A small correction about the numbering of the houses. This is not an old or new numbering system. Well, it is possible that one of the is older, however, even new houses still have both numbers. The red one is called a "descriptive number" and it is the numbering of the houses in a district. The blue number is called "orientation number" and this number is given to houses in each street one by one. Usually, you have even numbers on one side of the street and odd on the other.

  • O my god the cameraman is just about to run her cameraman over at 00.40!!

  • Not bad video. But I think that Prague is much more than just historical buidings-and many of them aren't here presented. Especially night life. If you like going to theatres, clubs(very good and cheap beer btw) etc., you will surely find your way how to entertain yourself. And this you just can't get in 10 miutes. Czechs are maybe a little bit colder, but if you give them a chance, you'll find that they are friendly :-)

  • wow she walks fast

  • I live in Czech Republic in Pilsen ;-)

  • @carltaf Hi Carltaf--I am from America and will be in Pilsen later this month. I want to see the Patton Museum and the American World War 2 Memorial. What can you tell me about them? Anything else you would recommend in Pilsen for me to see? Thanks!

  • @vatonorteno Hi Patton Museum is a very nice place.

    see for yourself.

I have been there a hundred times :)

What would you like to know about it?

  • in which city do you live?

    and when you arrive? :)

  • @carltaf I am from Vancouver, Washington USA (not Canada). I will be in Pilsen on Oct. 1st and arriving on a tour bus. Can you tell me the hours of the Patton Museum? I really am looking forward to seeing it as well as your beautiful town, country and all its people!

  • @vatonorteno I do not know how many hours of opening .

Tomorrow I can look at how many hours of opening.

    and maybe there'll 1.Oct. :)

    my name is Carl.

What time will you be? you speak a little Czech?

  • What a gorgeous looking city!! i'm looking forward to my first trip to Prague in August.

Love Europe. Thank you for sharing this video :)

  • Superb video of a very beautiful city.

  • moje praha!!!

  • czech people are the most unpleasant people you can meet.

speacially in the restaurants the waiters or the shop keepers or the salesman.

many time they will say things in czech and will not talk to you in english even they can.

    they just want your money.

but they dont know what service means.

    good luck in prague.

some sample cursing you may hear:

    ty vole,do prdele

  • @ThePunkyjoe

how bad is it, racism a big thing? im indian and going looking to go prague next month, are the some parts i should steer clear of? can you recomend some nice parts of prague? thanks

  • @smistry94 You again :) As it seems that ThePunkyjoe is not going to answer, I´ll answer intead of him (he´s probably one of the Czechs that claims that Czechs are assholes - excluding him). The only minority Czechs generally don´t like are gipsies, not completelly unrightfully thanks to the behavior of many of them (staying jobless, being rude, stealing sometimes). There are no particular dangerous parts of the town, just be more carefull at night in suburbs. But that´s just common sense.

  • @svoba4af

    thanks again lol :)

  • @smistry94 man...never mind about that =)

here is no racism!just the people don´t like czech gypsies because they steal, they don´t respect other people, they don´t want to work, they are sometimes agressive......and when you say this sad truth about them.....they call us racists =)))))

I have many friends from asia, or some of tunisia and I like them =)

  • @smistry94 No problem here, it's like in any other bigger city. I'm Czech and live in Prague. Gipsies aren't so polite, they speek very loud by the way.

  • since 6 hours i leaved prag, miss the city

  • I found this video full of negativity with things being said like "was it worth it?" and "if you were expecting a square you might be disappointed" and "not alot of interesting things to see here after the museum and the horse". Why so negative? I won't be checking out any more In Your Pocket guides.

  • @italianpostcards i heard more positive things..

  • I went to Prague 2 months ago. I loved it. I will definitely return one day.

  • This is a great video, thanks so much for posting this!

I'm planning a trip there this summer and this video just re-emphasizes why i want to go there!

  • That was filmed in the morning ? Because there are no cars on the roads. I live in Prague and it is beautiful city.

  • please stay out of my home.

  • Prague is a beautiful city, but unless you're willing to share it with thousands of other tourists, loads of English teachers (which is why I was there 5 years ago), and many disgruntled locals who wish they could have their city back, DO NOT GO THERE!

I left working in Prague for Russia (my second time there) and had a much better time. My girlfriend was hot, job paid more, and I was considered unique because everyone I met had never met an American before.

  • its not gonna be boring, if u like to party than u will love prague

  • @denttinpatel

    i was thiking that to,

boring city, i have to go there on a school trip for a week!!!!

  • @denttinpatel Well maybe you are right, but I have to say that this video is only about historic monuments, but Prague is very interesting also at night =D it depends on what you want to see :)

  • it was a holly roman empire capital

and a Habsburg main city and center and also the first greatest city of Central Europe, it served also as the capital of Bohemian Empire

  • @GivenchyParisFr wow i got 4 thumbs up :D Luv you czech people ! :D

  • Prague is for me one of the best cities in the world. Czech girls r the prettiest :-]

  • if you dont like the country then dont come back you stupid bitch your a joke and you cant even say the words of our citys and buildings you stupid fucking cunt

  • I plan on traveling overseas from NZ in early may but I'm unsure whether it should be Prague or Vancouver. After seeing this video Prague has the slight lead.

  • @olkilldevil20

you should go to prague, its awesome :D

  • haha she pronouced some of the czech words wrong like dum

  • I went there for 1 day as a stop of for my InterRail trip of Europe only saw it of a dark really and had to get the train back to Germany the next morning. I will visit again one day and spend a few days to explore it.

  • It's such a safe city, you can walk the streets late at night anywhere without feeling intimidated or scared. By the way, the astronomical clock it's just a waste of time

  • @vencacz12

žij si kde chceš, vládne tu svoboda, ale neš sem začneš něco plodit anglicky a vyzdvyhovat USA nejdřív se nauč základní anglický slovíčka typu mít rád, mít atd.!
