Thanks, collinsfollower, for 're-posting' this excellent video, minus the annoying interruption that occurs on the earlier posting. Dorothy really captures the yearning quality of this song and delivers it in her typically mellifluous manner. Too bad she died so young(relatively). Wikipedia attributes her demise to a respiratory ailment, which is especially ironical, considering the fact that she promoted Lucky Strikes, on the air, but was not a smoker herself, to my knowledge.

@iotbs7 I am glad you enjoyed this selection. I agree with your comments. True, Dorothy was not a smoker herself. Maybe there is something to be said for the harm of second hand smoke. Thanks again for your comments.

@iotbs7 huh? she died at the age of 67.... that's what I know... : )
