I've had people say AC/DC aren't great musicians. They are, though. The bass and drums are extremely simple, yes, but different nonetheless for every damn one of their god knows how many incredible songs, and like Black Sabbath, mighty freaking good. And the guitars speak for themselves.

The reason most drummers don't play fast is not because they feel they need to be metronomes, it's the fact that many drummers can't play drums in an emotionally expressive manor.

Comparable to guitarist that only play chords for they can't come up with riffs.
