Hell of a bout. It's nice to see the fencer with more creative resources win. it's a pity this kind of fencing with creativity isn't the future. the future will be robots that basically punish creativity (i.e. waiting and see style) Covaliu does get quite a few touches with that wait and respond style in the center but he also has several attacks, counter times, and even a derobement stop cut with 2nd intention. That's fencing.

Damn, that was a really really good bout. Covaliu's parry and riposte while flying backwards was sick, but to bad he was out.
