  • That dummy is gangsta, he was doing the west side signal with his hand at 0:31

  • @CrashJSTest I have the pics of the car (if u wanna see)... *(sorry if that was a disturbing comment)

  • @CrashJSTest No, a Toyota Highlander.

  • @CrashJSTest You obviously were behind the wheel of the horribly underpowered base model 200HP 2.7L V6. I've driven that one, the 3.5L V6, and also the 5.7L Hemi V8. The 3.5 was no racer but it wasnt slow. The Hemi? Experience can't be put into words. Just drive one!

  • the 2005-2010 Chrysler 300 was assembled in

    Brampton, Ontario, Canada

    Graz, Austria

    Beijing, China

  • My sister died in the 2007 Charger, in October 2010. It was an impact very much like the crash test impact, except on the other side of the car. It was a head on collision, resulting in both drivers deaths. Not only was the structural integrity of the Dodge Charger sub-standard, but as further insult, no airbag deployed in the Dodge Charger, not one. . Do you know someone with a Charger? Do them a favor, tell them this story, save their lives.

  • @bigshowracing im rlly sorry to hear that... R.I.P.!

  • @bigshowracing I'm sorry you learned the hard way about American cars. Get Toyota,Mazda,Honda,Nissan,Mitsubishi,VW,Kia,Hyundai.

  • @TheVideo5094 ford, chrysler, and gm are the only way to go

  • @TheVideo5094 It doesnt have anything to do with an American car. The mother of my daughter (hate calling her ex or baby momma) had her boyfriend die in her 06 Mazda 3 a few years ago. I went with her for moral support to the wreck yard to retrieve what she could from her car and as soon as we turned the corner I almost stopped breathing in disbelief at how her FOREIGN car folded like a card table. He was t-boned and it wasnt a high speed accident...

  • @bigshowracing I hope you arent making this up...

  • This test doesnt suprise me. These cars look and feel like they are made like bricks. (reliabilty is another story! lol)

  • @caddyman07 i guess this has more reliability than any other car you choose. at least, this brick is cuter than any chevy or ford.. and faster in the srt version.

  • @almendratapatia I think you took my comment the wrong way. By saying they feel like a brick, the car feels solid. If you look in my uploads, you will see that I own one. Also, by stating what I did about its reliability, Im speaking from personal experience. My car was bought used (could have been abused). The car is no where near a piece of junk, I was just saying...

  • Chryslers are paper mache on wheels.

  • @carzrawesomeful then how would you describe honda, nissan, toyota, hyundai, mitsubishi, kia, subaru, and that smart car thing? i've seen all of these just tap a fence post and get about $500 in damage. dodge, chrysler, jeep, chevy, and all the other american cars had minimal damage--some nicks in the paint but no damage at all in terms of the car's body. same accident, held up much better than all the non-american cars. but yes i do agree that chryslers do tend to have a lot of problems.

  • very safe cars.

  • LX Plat Consists of Charger, Challenger, Magnum, And 300C. Magnum is A Different car. SHOULD A BEEN TESTED!!!!!!!!!

  • Challenger is a LY platform. its based on the LX tho

  • That too. Well, anyway, I SEE WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT NOW!!!!!!!! They served 2 different crashtests, i see it now. thanks. i knew that there was a difference somewhere...

  • wanted to see a charger!

  • this just goes to show that chysler CAN make safe cars. Next step is reliability...

  • fuck you wheres the charger

  • @zartranFTW that's a chrysler man :D

  • mostly plastic...

  • yesss i knows now lol

i still wouldnt want to be in it hahaa

  • ; ' (

    ; (

  • The Chrysler 300 is a car that stands out. It looks good. Interior is roomy.

  • AAAAAAAAnd its a death trap in the side impact the driver or front seat passenger depending on what side it was hit on they would have internal organ injuries

  • YOOOOOOOOOOOOOU too would get internal injuries AHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • look at the rool over test

  • Chrysler's quality control has continuously improved over the years.I love their products!

  • Damn, that car looks safe as heck. The cab remained like perfectly intact. It was freaking beautiful. The advancements made in vehicle safety every year amaze me. I don't think cars were this safe 5-10 years ago.

  • 300 series is very safety, i agree too:

I have 300M 1999, my dad just crashed it:

Headlights and "bumber" (that plastic cover thing) broken.

    > No airbags used. And needs some metal works.

Other car (tiny Toyota) totally wrecked.

    > But both drivers was ok.

Thank you Chrysler, for saving lifes!

    - But in Finland (big &) safety cars are so rare, thanks to BIG finnish cartaxes.

I've got mine 300M in Germany.

My next car is 300C, but i fix my 300M, because its working&safety

  • That's great man. In the future I'm pretty sure they are going to make side curtain airbags standard, because they make cars alot safer. And that's great about the 300 and the most important thing is that everyone was alright.

  • look at the rool over test. tell me if its safe

  • I love this car, but in Belgium I don't seen lots of them... :(

  • @highwayman626

    Then buy one ;-)

  • i almost cried about that

  • Dummies can't drive.

I'll bet they fired him on the spot, for wrecking a perfectly good car.

  • yeah, those dummies are, well, dummies!

  • Unfortunately the side impact test on this car is horrifying...

  • money wise u wouldn't be doing so good tho...

  • ill kee it do not destroy neiher more 1!! give them to me :p

  • Yo man I want one with those big-ass crash-test whitewalls all 'round nugga!

  • Why not try out if the rest of them get the same result????

  • to : MitsuEclipse06:

Take your poorly tuned tiny toyota(or mitsu) owner CocK 'o' out of the goat.

  • That car is fucked now...that dummy is gonna be walking to work tomorrow!

  • Stupid Crash Test Dummies - they're ALLWAYS crashing their own car into walls!

  • hear about that crash dummy that crahsed the McLaren F1?

  • @573W1E6R1FF1N--Thats why they're DUMMIES lmao

  • @bombalu5 Well he can get a new car... one that's not Chryshit!

    May 16, 2011 12:42 am

  • Wow, despite the fact that this was only 40 mph, I think the 300 did ok. Yeah, if the windshield didn't break, that means there's a good, stiff, non-crumpling passenger compartment. Even if the car itself is so totally screwed, the driver would probably be fine.

    Remember: crumple kills.

  • no, it does not. if a car crumples properly, it absorbs the energy from the crash, instead of the energy splashing out onto the occupants.

  • wow windshield survived.

  • Clearly, the Chrysler minivans are better...that's why GM pulled out of the segment as Chrysler redesigned its models.

  • Comment removed

  • did'nt that dummy brains come out lol

  • Comment removed

  • HAHA!! Minivan fights..

  • i didnt give up.

    I WIN!

  • again with the pointless insult machine.

that just proves that you are getting defensive. that means i proved you wrong!

    I WIN!

  • Comment removed

  • hm, you insult. your getting defensive. I WIN!

i proved you wrong about AutoStick in the Chrysler minivans. that Chrysler Minivans are better. that gm minivans are UNSAFE between 97-05 model years. and MANY MORE!!!

and i took those off, because i didnt want them on there.

  • Comment removed

  • you ARE getting defensive. you are showing weakness.

um, you CAN shift sideways! that is AutoStick.

and look you admited that i proved you WRONG!!!!

and how can you say im deaf? you arent talkin to me!

and anyway, these insults prove that you are wrong. and you LOST!

    I WIN!

  • Hello?

  • Comment removed

  • Chrysler had good interiors for the 90's. the 96+ Minivans, the 93+LH cars. the 95+ Cloud Cars the 98+ Grand Cherokee those all had good interiors. for the 2000's 00+ LH cars. the 00+ Cloud Cars. the 00+ Neon the 01+ PT 05+Grand Cherokee 06+ Commander 08+Liberty 01+Minivans hmmm. i proved you wrong AGAIN!I WIN!
  • Comment removed

  • by listing models, I DO WIN!

    i have proof!

and if generic motors minivans are so good, why dont they have power liftgates? reliable power sliding doors? stow'n'go or swivel'n'go? why do they not use a more advanced 6spd auto? why dont they have more standard safty features? why arent they rated 5star in every catagory???

Chrysler has all of the above!

  • Comment removed

  • lumnia apv had the first power sliding door.

Chrysler had the first dual sliding doors. Chrysler power sliding doors are better designed. uplander is missing swivel and stow 'n' go.

a 4spd being better engineered than a 6spd? when pigs fly!

uplander didnt get 5star in every catagory. Chrysler did!

  • Comment removed

  • Minivans are good, especially chrysler ones. chrysler also invented power steering, wind tunnel testing, the first muscle car to have more than 300 horesepower, and the one-piece windshield.

  • Sorry, but chrysler didn't invent power steering. They were the first to feature it on a car.

  • Comment removed

  • i didnt copy anything.

    what is a sentance?

    oooh you mean sentence!

you must not have any education.

  • Comment removed

  • nope.

capital letters dont mean anything unless its formal.

but proper spelling means everything. which you obviously dont have.

    I WIN!

    AGAIN!

  • Comment removed

  • dimshit? that is another insult. I WIN!

and why would i say a false statement like that? i usually capatialize Chrysler, but never generic motors!

Chrysler has the same quality interiors as Ford,Toyota, and generic motors.

they all get there interiors from Plastechs. Plastechs gets there plastic from Spartech. They order the cheapest shit they can. haha.

  • Comment removed

  • hell you already won? WHEN PIGS FLY!!!

    Generic Motors=gm.

    Gay Mothafucka Cocksuckas=GMC

i have sat in a generic motors and a ford. i like the Chrysler better.

Plastechs DOSNT have any levels.Chrysler,Ford, Toyota, and generic motors all have the same interior quality!!!

trust me, my dad makes the plastic that Plastech uses. it is pure 100% shit!

  • saturn aura is shit.

    horriable safty like the g6.

Chrysler 300 is the most award winning new car EVER!

    top that generic motors!

  • Comment removed

  • haha. you make me laugh.

the aura's interior lacks the refinement of the opel version.

Chrysler has a WORLD CLASS interior.

  • Comment removed

  • the Vectra has a higher quality interior. due to the fact that it isnt supplied by Plastechs. but Magna.

the 300C has a world class interior. if not then why does chrysler sales keep goin up over seas??!?! hmmm.

Chrysler gets its interior from the same supplier as Ford,Toyota and GM. all the same quality plastic.

  • Lol, I like how the dummys are is waving.

  • It got poor on the side HIT but if you may notice that the windows apper small well is actually normal sized but becuz the doors are soo masive that the windows look small...see?

  • Wow, looks pretty safe.

  • i personally think that the cars styling was improved by this

  • It indeed scored very well in a frontal crash test.

However, the performance of side impact protection is poor. 300 got "poor" rating without sab and only "marginal" with head curtains on board. The latter result is partially caused by the lack of side torso airbags and deep intrusion of the crashing barrier.

Pity, since this is otherwise a great looking, impressive car with a lot of presence.

  • man!! that is a sexy ass car!! im european myself, ukrainian, but there are no japanese cars that look that nice. im gettin one as soon as possible.

  • Safe car with many parts from the Mercedes E-Class...no shitty car.

  • You know I would like to have more strength in vehicles let people be bounced around a bit, but they're still o.k. and look the car ISN'T totaled. In my opinion I would prefer a sore knee and head for a few weeks then have to buy a new car!

  • Well this is to protect the driver not the car if the dummys fine then its mission accomplished

  • Ah the good old RWD V8 cars. Chysler has gained respect from me for creating this vehicle. But I would still prefer a town car over it..

  • if you dont like it, dont buy it or watch videos about it, its that easy you twatpocket

  • The comments from the British are all so filled with emotion. They're so angry and racist. Quite stuck up. I don't understand....

  • this is the best car that had ever been made by chrysler ,,,me i want one ..its fucking sexy

  • jtfraijo- Actually, Chrysler 300s are gaining a little popularity in Japan by Japanese men.

  • BIG DEAL...that still doesn't account for the fact that this car is a huge pile of shit... and trust me the only reason a japanese person would buy this would be for the mere novelty of having an "american" car...maybe this piece of rubbish does have a purpose afterall

  • jt- Interjecting your own personal bigoted opinion about this vehicle does not make it "a huge pile of ****". It does in fact have a moderate following thus enticing people to purchase it.

What do you know about Japan or Japanese men? Do you live there? Have you even been there?

  • jt- If you truly did live in Osaka you wouldn't have said what you said. I believe you are a net-troll just stirring up trouble. I've been living in Japan for 20 years and your statement couldn't be more wrong which leads me to believe you know nothing about this car and are simply making trouble. BTW JD Powers lists top quality cars of which American cars are listed and no Euro cars. Too bad.

  • well go worship ur leader in japan u sister bangin homo!!!!

  • actually...i've seen all ages drive it. i'm 21 and would love to have one. most drivers i've seen in them are under 50. this modle was the plain one, there are a lot of good looking modles, like the c, heritage edition, and of course the srt8 with a 425hp hemi. i sold chryslers after school, and i never herd of anything that would place it in the shitty catagory, and got nothing but complements on the looks and style...so before u comment on something u have no idea about...do some research !

  • yeah cuz we AMERICANS dont call it a boot or bonnet u european tart!!!

  • looks alot better than the chinese crap they call cars...check them out...

  • thats good i guess

  • I called IIHS about this, and they apparently didn't care: the car they tested was a 2006 300 Touring, not a 2005.

  • GET A LICENSE STUPID DUMMIES!

  • The new Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Magnum based on Chrysler's new LX Platform comes standard with the 2.7L Engine. The same 2.7L Engine with a history of ridiculous, premature catastrophic failure due to sludge and other issues.

  • Very true. Don't buy ANY Chrysler vehicle of any year if it's equipped with the 2.5L or 2.7L V6. They are horribly defective.

  • When oh when will those crash test dummies learn to drive?

  • lol good questions

  • I hear crash test dummies don't make very good money either for what they have have to go through on the job.

  • I love my 300 SRT .. Chrysler blew it on the interior.. Also had alot of issues with it as well..

  • I'm not saying it's not safe. What I was getting at is this is a larger sedan ( MB ) based yet the lighter, shorter Ford Five Hundred or freestyle does a better job at the test. Check out the test on those cars and compare. I know that this speed any car becomes totaled, I was in a 95 Town Car at 44MPH, yes the Front end was totaled but I came out walking, the car kept rolling, engine kept revving for 10 seconds until the computer killed it off, and with less damage than the 300.

  • Dont try to sale us that volvo Ford crap. Volvo is trying very hard to run away from Ford.

Ford got it self in this mess. Ever talk to a Ford sales person for more than five minutes without becoming sick. Bad sales person, bad service, bad manufacturing makes for a failure company.

  • What does that have to do with crash test?

  • The fact is I was in a collision in my 300 and cuold not believe the damage it took and was able to drive away with only a wind noise. This same damages would have shut a Ford down.

  • Yeah, you're totally right. I did the calculations too.

  • Top score? Maybe so, but still this is excessive damage for car that size and based off a Mercedes Platform. I know about crumple zones but for such a long front end, it's a bit too much crumple. Compare that to the Ford Freestyle or Ford Five Hundred. Smaller yet heavier car based off Volvo and it doesn't get so damaged.

  • It's not excessive, and it doesn't matter anyway. You have a frontal impact at this speed, your car is totalled. There is virtually NO cabin deformation there - it looks like an incredibly safe car.

  • There was wheel-well intrusion there, watch the wheel go through the cabin underneath the driver's side fender.

  • The more crumplem the more energy absorbtion. It's all about cockpit intrusion/integrity...

  • it is actually based off the old chrysler LH platform with mercedes parts ramed in.

  • I love Dodge. I wont by a Rice burner. I feel very safe in my American Dodge truck. I would run over a toyota.lol

  • Good for you. Why are the sales of American car-manufacturers dipping? Man, Americans are retards. Sorry...

  • because we got idiots such as your self?

  • Sorry for my rudeness, I tend to overreact sometimes. Americans are not retards, but their car sales are going down. No offence, but that must that American cars are not as good as German or Japanese cars. No hard feelings.

  • Quite all right, Alex. Say, how about hosting a video of some of those fine Russian cars being made today? Absent that, how about a video of anything made in Russia that isn't a steaming pile of dog shit? You're an impotent little Greenpeace fag. No hard feelings...

  • Sheesh, don't call me a fag for no reason, this screwed argument started because of some car, can we drop it already? I admit, Russia sure makes fucked up cars, but hey, our people have no clue how to make cars. And I do support greenpeace because of our steadily detoriating climate.

  • My bad Alex. I guess I just had a bad day. Sorry. Now fuck off.

  • No offense, but you sure must be an arrogant dumbass, thanks for your time.

  • hahahaha you said it with you all the way

  • Thanks man, I appreciate your support.

  • I am a ford fan but i would buy a Dodge or chevy over any ricer burner.

  • If you take this car and hit a cement barricade at 55-60 m.p.h. you would be untouched, except for a little bruising, airbag burns, and seatbelt burns, otherwise you would not die. Thats how safe Chrysler is. Well, not since the incident with the 1999 Chrysler LHS which had a late deploying airbag and the dummy hit the steering wheel at that point. So this makes up for that certain incident.

  • so did the sienna.

  • omg! my 2004 sienna xle can beat that

  • Beat it? The 300 got the top score.

  • You should go outside and test it on a pole.
