I've got to admit, this is very impressive, but basing an army on a video game series will make you have some regrets later on. Not to be a troll, but warhammer 40k is more about creating your own armies or using gw armies than basing armies off of video games. If you have another army, this is perfectly okay and plainly amazing, but if this is your only army, you might want to look into another one. Cheers! :)
@EnteruserIDhere1 no i do have more armies chaos space marines mostly.
and as to the regret no non what so ever i`v played a game with this army already and everyone where
very impressed and loved to play with it. besides making this army based on a game do not meen its no longer playable for 40k as long as you use the rules for 40k imperial guards. game wise they look like helghast but are still imperial guard.
I thought about doing mine like on of the Kill Zone 3 covers with the black armor light grey cloths with the fur collars and those stripes on the helmets.
I'm putting together a Helghast-themed, mechanized IG force at the moment, using Pig Iron stuff like Leonic211 mentioned. I love the anonymous mask-clad vibe, and the ominous black-with-glowing-eyes scheme.
To those saying to use DKoK, I've always thought they look far too WWI-esque to be used as Helgast. They're not nearly modern-looking enough, especially with the iconic helmets. Still, I'll probably pick up a DKoK Commissar sometime. :P
im quite impressed! not only that, but im also doing a killzone/helghast based army totally around the imperial guard as well, using Pig irons Kolony Milita as veterans and Pig iron Milita heads for the basic cadian bodies, but may i ask, how did you get the jetbikes? shining spears with bodies mish-matched? or was it like multiple basic jet bikes? i personally use the basic cadians as normal guard, and the Kolony mlitia as veterans in Carapce armor, i was curious of your choices!
the bald helghast`s are made from the necromunda house delaque models and are used as the vettran platoon, all of the kasrkins you see are the infantry platoons, and the storm troopers are what they are .p.s. thanks for the comments guys.
this band is Evanescence and thats a cool army i was planning to do the same thing as u have mate keep the work coming. But u need to paint them so the other people can see wot colour ur going to paint them.
i have made a new addition to my killzone army they are the snipers from killzone 2 and the hellgast tank from liberation. and i`v redone the jet bikes.
i didn`t use the tracks of the chimera but instead used the terminator bases as wheels and made the side boards from plasticard as for the heads most of them are just karchkins but otherwise are greenstuffed helmets.you need to make sure almost all of your models have to have goggles.
thanks guys:im planning to remake the walkers make them look more like the walker in the psp version also i did a scheme on a chimera useing snake skin yes REAL SNAKE SKIN.lol.
do those jet bikes count as rough riders?

I'm loving the dark sphere you achieved by painting all those miniatures so pure evil and dark. They frightened me actually by just standing still.
