  • Is it normal to have oil drip out of the cam chain tensioner?

  • So to tighten cam chain, I turn bolt clockwise or counterclockwise?

    Thanks

  • @chavezmarquez8

you would want to turn clockwise

  • while yr at it and the engine is cold you might as well do the tappets - since they produce most of the noise!! NEVER overtightened ANY BOLTS on this bike - they snap off - you have been warned!!

  • @itsmepaul57

i adjusted the valves the day before and i also said to make sure the engine is stone cold i have wrenched on this bike off and on now and i have never had a bolt snap on me yet but common sense is never over tighten any bolt

  • My cam chain tentioner bold is leaking oil. what does this mean and is it an easy fix. iv already tried tightening it.
