I was recently on some carnival rides with my phone in my pocket, later that day when i was going to check my text messages the screen appeared cracked the part the was cracked appeared blue with the back light on. i was still able to call people but that was about all. now the batery has ran out while my charger was broken, so i went to buy a new charger, charged it and now during the setup i can calibrate it because i dont know where to touch. i have tried tapping everywhere and it does work.

From the description you have given a complete screen should work. I can not be 100% sure because it is not in my hand to test but once again from your description it needs a complete screen.

can somebody plz help me,i have a palm treo 700 and the glass thats in between the screen and the touch plastic was broke THE GLASS and i completly took it off and i put the touch plastic part of the phone with the screen only NO GLASS this time and now my phone doesnt work i did a hard reset and it stays in the part where it says USE STYLUS TO TAP CENTER OF TARGET,touch screen doesnt work what do i need to do,change the whole screen or my phone is mest up

You need to replace the screen. Goto PDAparts(dot)com and the part number is PA1895 if you own a 700p or PA2000 if you own a 700w.

The possible issues are endless.. Bad battery, bad charger, bad motherboard, software issue etc.

That will depend on which version of the phone you have. The Cingular/ATT will have the sim card. The verizon and sprint do not.

Thanks for posting. I love me Treo 600. My first took a few too many falls and was replaced by insurance in May 2005. Getting towards 3 years old, I'm going to have to get a new battery someday, but for the moment it keeps on trucking!
