For example, 10% of Canada's GDP is trade with the US. Also, there are so much collateral damage - meaning innocent lives are affected. Many believe the war does not make Americans safe from terrorism

Now comparing numbers, Americans have done as much damage as the other supporting countries and we have 100,000 and counting. I believe the other foreign troops are more into security, counter-insurgency (winning hearts and minds) and training/mentoring the ANA. I think ISAF is well organized but the problem is each country have different rules and procedures. Plus the US Special Forces do not fall under ISAF and operate independently
@AccordGTR From my perspective, I see all the military forces training the ANA to better ready themselves in acting on a conflict of any kind. US train them on ordinance the ANA has already acquired and get them in shape if already not. The foreign countries assist US in training them on the ordinance that is complex and needs a bit more understanding than the basic type.

Yeah, the people who do the coordinates to fire these things have to be good at basic physics. There's an art called Artillery Ballistics or something, I don't even remember the name. Some artillery is automatic, but most is manual.
@EKOR702 Yes, if you're on fire control. There's three points of distance you need to calculate/triangulate to develop a conclusion as to where the round is going to impact. That calculation is then imput into a lateral quadrant consisting of 3 numbers and then a meter for elevation to put the barrel into the correct placement for the point of aim. Course, if you're just a cannon operator they just give you the numbers and it's simple..
