  • Thanks for posting these videos. I was curious about non-tubed pumps. I'm Type 2 (newly diagnosed) and NOT on insulin but my grandma was T2 insulin dependent so I may become that down the road... not sure... So I'm learning all I can about D and insulin. :) Thanks!!

  • i am 16 and i have had daibetes for more than 5 years and i did the shots for a year and then have had a minimed pump, i am off to get my OmniPod from my Endro. and i just want to let you know how much your videos have helped me understand the OmiPod i thank you very very much for putting these videos on here..

    Thank you,,

    Justin(:

  • cigna just approved my omnipod and im getting it in 3-5 days. I learned everything here

  • i have been using insulin pumps for a while now, and this excites me, things will just continue to become more advance and integrative!

  • can u pls tell me how long a pod will stay before you have to switch it. currently i have to switch my canula every 3-4 days

  • @warhawksxaid It only lasts until 1) You run out of insulin(it holds 200ml) or 2)The pod fails(falls off, etc.)

  • @merlindog11 200ml? I don't think so. It's 2ml (that means 200 units of insulin)

  • Is it available in the uk?

  • yes its availible from a company called abbott. make sure u search abbott diabetes on the internet because they also have other companys like abbott nutrion and so on!

  • I'm wearing my free demo right now. Strongly considering getting this system. Putting it to the test at the beach 2moro.

  • This looks great. Wish this was availible in Canada

  • i hope they get this in the uk

  • I have been going through all of your Omnipod videos, thank you so much for making them. Very informative, and helpful to see the Pod in action. This video in particular really has me excited...in the process of getting my Omnipod system. Can't wait to start!

  • yeah i take insulin injections too. but i have to wait until january to get a pump because of insurance coverage...

im going to a class to see which one i like most... over christmas break

  • The Omnipod may cost more in the end, but it's by far the cheapest out-of-pocket to get started. I'm starting pump therapy soon, but for now I'm on MDI with Novolog and Lantus Solostar, and I can't wait to say goodbye to 4 daily injections. Even though Insulet Corp. is a relative newcomer, it's good to see a company eliminate the tubing from the pump. With the job I have, I know I'd find a way to snag the tubing that the other pumps use. The Omnipod looks cool. Thanks for the video.

  • the omni pod cost more in the end than a regular pump

  • if u have never used it before its exciting to open the package even tho u know u cant use it right away
