Smarter doesn't compute either. Maiden was already established when Bruce came along. Nikki pulled the Crue from nothing to the cover of Rolling Stone as the driving creative force of the band. Bruce Dickinson is an amazing singer, but Nikki Sixx is a best selling author, charity founder, song writer, clothing designer, rock star.... a total icon..There's no comparison. Maiden has more chops... I'll grant you that, but the crue's riffs are dirtier. It depends how you like your rock.
