subarus and evos are not drag cars. If you want to go fast in a straight line, go two wheel drive, preferably rear wheel drive. If you want two wheel that has a bit more control in corners get front wheel. If you want to own corners like say autocross or a realistic race, go all wheel drive its point and shoot driving. The evos and sti's are hands down some of the most well built cars you can buy off the lot( well not evos anymore) this coming from an 02 civic si owner, nice car btw

The driver of the evo is an inexperienced driver. Regardless of weight to hp ratio in comparison of both the Evo and the eg with the swap, there shouldn't have been such a distance in the win. The evo could have still won if he really knew his car.

quite a long time, those engines can take a serious beating, there have been stories of engines rolling over at 1 million kilometers and going back to 0. People have even introduced water via a bucket to the oil and the thing still runs with white smoke pouring from the hood.

@johnrosa9 very true, i was being rather rash that day, don't hold it against me haha. when you swap the k20 they really come to life, the new si is not a heavy car but it is over 2800lbs now when you get into the early 90's models you're talking about serious power to weight advantages and especially against the behemoth GTO's which are also sick esp ls2 models

The driver of the evo is an inexperienced driver. Regardless of weight to hp ratio in comparison of both the Evo and the eg with the swap, there shouldn't have been such a distance in the win. The evo could have still won if he really knew his car.

the k20 may be stock but what civic comes wit a b16 or a k20.? a true Stock civic will be one wit a single cam.. i hate it when civic owners say thier car is stock but motor swapped it wit a completely different motor as mentioned above..

my civic is stock.. truly stock. 2000 civic ex auto coupe. only things ive done to it is put wheels lights and aftermarket lower control arms. i have one video of how it sounds with no muffler on my account.... but just yesterday it got rearended so imma get rid of it and buy an STI :)

quite a long time, those engines can take a serious beating, there have been stories of engines rolling over at 1 million kilometers and going back to 0. People have even introduced water via a bucket to the oil and the thing still runs with white smoke pouring from the hood.
