  • Is it just me or is that one of the Sedin twins walking behind them at 1:15 to 1:40?

  • @AleksthePster he's too short...and doesn't look like them at all

  • Season 4 was so fucking disappointing. It's a farce of itself.

  • All along the watchtower was awesome song before battlestar but now it's epic.

  • the future cylon will be from japan, gurantee

  • I frakking loved this show , pity that it only had 4 seasons :(....

But still one of the best sci-fi shows ever !!!!

  • @TheTorokboti I'd have to disagree with that statement.

  • IS THIS REALLY IT???

  • Ya know no one ever asks "What happened to the Robot Cylons (centurions) after they were 'set free' in those 150,000 years". I reckon that they went off into the Galaxy, continued to upgrade themselves, and decided to build their own world. Once they'd finished, they called it "Cybertron", had a civil war, and returned to Earth where they knew their creators would take them in! haha

  • @Aussie86 Hahah! Awesome!

"No one would have believed in the middle of the 20th Century that human affairs were being watched keenly and closely by intelligences greater than Man's. Yet, across the gulf of space on the planet Mars, intellects vast and cool and unsympathetic regarded our Earth with envious eyes, and slowly and surely joined their plans against us..." good one too...

  • @Aussie86 that just goes back to the saying "it will all happen again". Note that on the other earth they found it was inhabited cylons, no humans. Those centurions will prob find another earth, multiply there, fight each other, and it will all happen again... some will prob escape and come to the new earth that has been found by humans. as you saw, the humans were already building robots again... it will start all over

  • @wolfpaw05 Also please take into consideration that on the current earth ALL of the humans and cylons are extinct. The world is now filled with the decendants the first hybrid. Calculating this into the equasion makes it much less likely that our current earth would ever fall. So if you ever found yourself on the Galactica and Adama asked you if you were a Cylon what would you tell him:)

  • What confused me is if that if that Grayson guy in Caprica made the Cylons, what was all that stuff about Colonel Thigh and the Chief and the others having flashbacks from when they were cylons thousands of years ago? Really didn't get that

  • @DeJarreVu there were two "breeds" of cylons: one built thousands of years ago, on the real Earth (the nuked one), from where the final five come. There had been a war between these cylons over there, and the five travelled to Caprica to warn the 12 tribes not to make the same mistakes again. They arrived too late though.

Another breed of Cylons had already been built, completely separate from these. They're the Cylons you see in most of the series.

  • @Ludooohhh Ah, ok thanks. So thats why the modern cylons saw the 5 as sort of gods to them. Want to get it on Bluray, so will make it a bit clearer now when I watch ot again

  • @Ludooohhh Actually there were three "breeds" of cylons : 1st on Kobol, as the 13th tribe who created the first Earth. The 2nd was created by the 13th tribe and the last one was in the Colonies. The war that occurred on Earth was between the 1st and the 2nd "breed" and the final five are the decendents of the 1st one.

  • @wonderaliice Indeed. Apologies. Spoilers ahead! The 13th tribe went indeed to Earth, and became capable of reproduction. This is the reason why resurrection technology was lost, until re-discovered by the Final Five, They built their own robots there (the second breed of Cylons). They waged war against each other. The 3rd breed was independent of the first 2, but did the same thing on Caprica, hence the saying: "this has all happened before, it will happen again". Thanks for that wonderalice!

  • @DeJarreVu You're absolutely right. That's because whatever magic the writers had in the first 2 seasons, they completely lost in seasons 3 and 4. Things went downhill FAST with illogical character reactions to things and events. Starbuck was an angel? Then why did she die in physical form and find herself later along with a ship that needs the Five 5 near it in order to find...an earth already destroyed?

  • @Gorshkin111 I think with Kara being an angel.. they were almost trying to copy the idea of Jesus.. and angel coming down as human form, being able to die, but then coming back again, and of course not knowing that she was an angel. The whole end of the story based around how God had helped them find earth with the help of angels. And that earth already being destroyed, just empathizes the idea of things being in a continuous cycle... of cylon and human

  • We need battleships asap, cylons comming next year.

  • The subtitle looks like it's caprican

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO i dont want END :((((((

  • Is that Hebrew subtitles? Wow, way to ruin a great video clip!

  • Brilliant ending, just the face that the whole series took place thousands of years before us, really cool got a planet of the apes feel to it.

  • the One Year Later track, the one right at the beginning of this video gives me goosebumps like crazy

  • Comment removed

  • bad or good ending ? ity's YOUR opignon ...

  • We already have skinjobs but no battlestars and no vipers. We're frakked.

  • I nearly cried at this awesome ending :'(

  • @peterpahn123 They made a study about the viewers. Most were female so they made an ending part soap part romance novel.

  • I thought it was a red Ferrari driven by a detective!?

  • Baltar for President!!!!

  • Yeah I love it when Hendrix takes it away!! \m/

  • I think they butchered the two earths thing or whatever. They don't explain at all how there can be two earths with the same continents, heck even showing them walking around on Earth 1 on what looks eerily similar to New York City. Starbuck found Saturn on her way to earth 1, and when Boomer stole Hera she jumps next to what is obviously Jupiter. Then they find another earth with the geographical features... I would have rather the show ended with the nuked earth and us being cylons

  • @DynamicoS21 They butchered a lot of things because they had to wrap up the whole series in a hurry, They time travelled and reached prehistoric earth. I agree with your view of ending with the nuked earth and us being cyclons and not drag the whole thing like a romance novel gone bad, and imposing the christian fundamental belief that science is bad and that it is better to live like a Noble Savage, in this case the Neanderhals.

  • @abbefaria1 Thank you! Finally someone that shares my point of view. If they would have ended after the first earth and us being cylons, it would have been a massive twist that nobody expected.

  • Gota say BSG had the perfect ending a nice twist

  • I cried..

    I'm a dude

  • @iamantooonie I cried many times during the show. I'm a dude too. Being dudes doesn't make us senseless Cylons I guess ;)

  • @gutspillage I smiled, And I'm a dude :)...What? :O

  • @tomteo9 :O You were happy BSG ended and there is no more! :p

  • @gutspillage No that can't be, that's just blaspheme. Gotta go to confession :S

  • Only me here thinks the Star Trek universe somehow combines itself with BSG universe?

  • Hmm so the cylos "hunted" the humans to a new earth again and they take care of us?

  • @academicroach Those two are angels, not cylons. ;)

  • @gutspillage 0.o okey

  • @apeman one of the man look at them when they are walking through crowd in the street.

so they are real and cylons

  • good music I meant.

  • good night Jimi Hendrix. Where ever you are.

    Good video, doog music.

    Thanks !

  • 1:26 if you put your headphones it is possible to listen the flight of a cylon rider. Isn't it?

  • omg, THAT MAKES TOTAL SENSE!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry to all of you who didnt like this ending, but it is cool. Irony on the level of thee end scene of planet of the apes.

  • No.6 really looks like a person who would study mathematics

  • The big problem to me with this ending is that the colonial citizens accept Lee's plan so casually. After years of pissing and moaning about how terrible the life on the fleet is without all the modern comforts, they are suddenly okay with going to live in the wild without technology, science and modern medicine. Like there wasn't anybody who resisted this or didn't realize how stubid Lee's plan was. I bet they are going to be real happy when the first diseases and monsoons hit.

  • @ikosabre Well you just found the first pretext for war in the new. Or maybe the origin of conservatism and progressivism. Totally make sense to me :p

  • @ikosabre Well, they probably were easily attracted by the abundance of resources and the fact that they're finally found the planet they were looking for!

  • @yitih That still isn't a good reason to abandon technology and go live in the jungle.

  • So the kid died shortly after coming to earth sad

& what language is in the subtitle

  • The red car at 2:05 is based off a Colonial Viper

  • is it just me or is every one's acting in this final scene has suddenly sunk down to the worst of all acting in the entire series? Caprica 6's acting in this scene is terrible? what the hell happened? is it the script itself?

  • frak me no 6

  • The Mechanical Revolution is already happening. Augmentation first, Robotics second and AI as last.

  • You know what i just fracking realized?! Technically speaking, BSG is based in the past, NOT the present OR the future. This entire time I thought that BSG took place in like the year 4000 or something, but its not! Frackin hell thats awsome!

  • @pakachakawaka even scriptwiters thought so few years earlier. Remember star chart from "Tomb of Athena"? - there were modern constelations from our Earth. Ironically Geata recognized them on the "false" proto-Earth. :)

  • @pakachakawaka Well it might be /their false Earth, but it was /our real Earth. Constellations, statue of liberty, radioactivity, that's us alright.

(I really loved that theory, that we are infact Cylons)

So, technically I think Galactica actually does takes place in the future, it's just the prophecies that missed it.

False gods, false prophecies. Greece has happened before, is it now happening again.

(riots, protests against the ruling E. Union)

    Intriguing series indeed.

  • @pakachakawaka Well no, well, yes. It is in the future. The original earth was destroyed by nuclear war, This is a new "Earth" which had been developed over a period of 150000 years after the Galactica landed.

  • @pakachakawaka you just got that? :P

it's essentially another take on the nephilim.

  • @pakachakawaka you're pretty slow to catch on huh :P

  • one of the better epic tv series endings. often they can't quite get it right, but i think they just about managed here. give or take a few little things (all the survivors gave up technology without any kind of question?!?).

  • I dunno about you guys, but i really liked how the series ended.

  • @shayaan2354 I fucking love this ending. It rapped up all the characters and gave us some irony. I loved it.

  • @shayaan2354 I thought it was a horrible contrivance. There's no way the fleet would just abandon technology, it was only written in there to avoid a plot hole and to perpetuate RDM's ridiculous anti-technology/decadence rhetoric.

  • @shayaan2354 and i ended up getting a tattoo from it. xD.

  • @shayaan2354 You're entitled to your opinion, but I just finished watching it after years of hearing what a great show it was. First 2 season are AMAZING, & then it's like they changed writers, it got all preachy about faith--this coming from a guy who OWNS Passion of the Christ and The Exorcist. Things don't make sense. They just don't. Rozlin's opera house vision is MEANINGLESS except for the fact that she HAD it. Nothing happened because she had them. It's like they made it up as they went.

  • @Gorshkin111 I am only up to 3.11 but i couldnt help watching this. please reply, why is guiyas and caprica alive if its 150 thousand years later???

  • @tehBLAX Those are the hallucination/visison Gaius and Six. You know, Gaius sees Six, Caprica sees Gaius...they're supposed to be angels of some sort, they never really give a straight answer about that.

  • @Gorshkin111 Ya I totally agree with you on all of that... Guyias went all cooky and weird and it was just weird to watch.. and ya, Laura's dream was meaningless.. pointless.. and to be honest... Hera's not even that important... they say she was because she would carry on the cylon race.. but there was other cylon couples.. such as ellen and saul, and their was number six and guyais, so i don't know

  • @wolfpaw05 Were you not paying attention? Hera is mitochondrial Eve, the most recent common ancestor for all human beings, meaning that Earth (or at least the fictional present day Earth in BSG) is inhabited by part-human, part-Cylon hybrids, including you and me. Hera is important.

  • I didn't like the way which the series came to an end. No. 6 was optimistic about the future. The best role for Robots/Androids is helping humanity in the exploration of space. In the first Battlestar series, there were some references to a very advanced civilization. Baltar2 and No. 6 are members of an advanced civilization which is continuing to watch over the human race.

  • @rgreed20081

i don't see what your point is, i'm afraid. it seems like a pretty decent ending to me.

  • I got a diffrent ending.. *ekhm*

The BS - Galactica FTLs to Earth, being chased by the cylons

as they race towards earth trying to distroy each other, in comes the Pillar of Autumn lead by master chief riding Optimus Prime atop the Enterprise. They aid the Galactica, kill the Cylons and all share their research and tech and make a bad ass Robot/Human/other race. That goes on to dominate the universe

    The end.

also working Stargate, star wars and any others into it somehow.

  • I punched my toaster as hard as I could, My house burned down as a result from the electric grill flying into my trash can full of oily rags.

  • So they end up in a primitive Earth and somehow all their knowledge and technology is lost. Oh just wonderful!

  • @TheSciFiCat no thats not it The survivors let all the cylons go and choose their own lives and the humans of the fleet decided to start a new and throw away all their technology all their ships were flown into the sun and they 40,000 or so remaining humans and cylon hybrids intermarried with primative humans and formed new tribes and stuff so their descendents arent going to remember anything.after 150,000 years.

  • @JordoF6 So you thought the Cylon Centurions went away from our Earth, never to return again? But they did! They returned! Only this time they call themselves Autobots...

  • So they end up in a primitive Earth and somehow all their knowledge and technology is lost.

  • When Battlestar Galactica first aired on TV I instantly knew this show would be different from others. It had beautiful character development along with spectacular action scenes. BSG touches on many subjects and does it wonderfully. To me BSG is soo much more then a TV show. This is entertainment at its best.

  • best show in decades, ending fantastic went out at the right time.

only hope blood and chrome is as good. also make another bsg movie about the two angels and their involvement

  • Can someone explain why there are 2 Earths in BSG?

  • @badger5079

The humans of kobol created the Final Five, who colonized a planet which they called earth or is also known as the home of the 13th tribe. The Five created the cylons, which rebelled, destroyed their planet and ventured out into space. The Five escaped.

  • The first Cylon built in the new earth is a black sports car driven by a lifeguard.

If you don't believe me, ask Glen A. Larson.

  • @DOCBETTER No say it isnt KITT?!

  • omgggg lol i kinda wish i saw the series before this

  • I loved this ending. The fact that bsg is set 150 000 years before us and their civilization had so many similarities with ours fits in the premise "This has happened before and it all will happen again". Soon we will create our own Cylons and the cycle will continue...

  • peoples be bitchin because the mixed religion in with sci fi. boo hoo. the threw paranormal and sci fi into lost and nobody complainded.

  • @MrClose2theEdge There is hope for the future! Religion is becoming more ridiculous than black smoke monsters. Haha

  • @anus565

There is hope for the future?

Because mankind is already dumb enough to curse a show they originally liked just because the story went a different way they had in mind?

  • Awful ending. Season 4 ruined everything that came before and after. The very instant Colonel Tigh began to hear that tune on board GALACTICA, I knew he was a cylon and I knew BSG had just jumped the shark. I'm done with Ron Moore's BSG Universe. Let's hope someone else can reboot and do this thing properly.

  • the frak your' talking about? this was one of the best series ever, with one of the best endings ever.

  • @Ryagful Up until the end of season three, yes. After that, dear gods, it just fell apart. Did you know that the season three finale was actually going to be the first half the series finale if the writers strike had continued? Didn't that look like the golden gate bridge in that final scene? Everything that occurred in BSG up until that point indicated that it was set in our Earth's future, not the past. Staff writers have admitted this since the shows end. BSG was great and then it died.

  • im not getting how being in the past makes it worst that if it would be in the future. ITS SCIFI FOR FUCK SAKE. if they ended the series there, just go to 'Earth', i would have slammed the show off my favorite list. but they did a very good job in season 4, making their situation even WORSE with the devastated 'Earth'. the plot of season 4 was brilliant, but yes, inferior to season 3, which, by far, is the best of the entire series, and as such the best fucking season of any scifi, EVER.

  • @Ryagful No final five. No final cylons at all. No crazy original Earth, resurrection technology bullshit story. No ghost? angel? goddess? Starbuck. No god. No angels at all. If they had taken all of that shit out and ended the show with season three and our Earth in the future it would have been great. It would have made sense. Go back and check the shows continuity. The ending makes no sense. Even if you allow for gods and angels.

  • really? no sense? and what would your idea be to end the story? they magically defeat the Cylons at the nebula, with no help from Anders (a final five)? who's presence at the battle was the ONLY thing that saved them FROM EXTINCTION, and so they never get to Earth at all, they all get slaughtered and the Cylons win. YES, MAKES PERFECT SENSE! and how would they find Earth in the first place? just get to the nebula and...what? it was Starbuck's beacon that found Earth, and the nebula was useless.

  • Producer Ron Moore is the man reading the paper.

  • AAAHHH!!! WE'RE GOING TO BE TAKEN OVER BY TOY ROBOTS FROM JAPAN!!

  • Great show! But honestly it started sucking after Tigh, Chief and Samuels were revealed as Cylons. Then they ally with the Cylons... WTF!? Gods-damnit! I still had hope for the show though, but then the ending... Bill left without saying good-bye to Tigh. They were inseparable for fraks sake! And they just depart like that?? Chief kills Tory, that's the last we see of him. Then we all hoped Kara and Lee would finally settle down, but she goes off and disappears. I just want to cry. Six..Hold me!

  • @malibutaa I agree, the final season was frakked up

  • @14Pliskin would have been better if they would have ended it with the cylons being destroyed and Galactica landing on earth to start a new, then a long scene of everyone partying and dancing and laughing, kinda like in new caprica.

  • @malibutaa no that would've been lamer

  • @malibutaa Well, to atleast kill all the Cylons

  • This has all happend before...

    And it will happen again.

  • Oh shit! Subtitled in Hebrew makes the ending feel like even more of a religious revelation than before! I love it!

  • how much of this episode

  • So who is starbuck? What is Starbuck?

  • @kwanlifu

A fallen Angel. Like Satan, except sexy and surprisingly less of an ass.

  • I have always felt that the hidden meaning is: *drum roll* .... that God is Starbuck! Think about it!

  • oh my God...or should i say 'oh my Starbuck"?

  • i love bsg, too bad it had to end:S

  • 2:45. The man in the striped shirt can't keep his eyes off Number Six - if that's what she is still called after 150,000 years. Can't blame him - an angel like her walking the streets would get my full attention, too.

  • @MarsFKA but she is supposed to be invisible in this scene

  • @julianzolo I guess Mr Striped Shirt can see invisible people.

  • this series was frakkin awesome!

  • I thought the ending was a bit blunt, to tell the truth. I was kinda skeptical about them giving up all technology. It sounds pretty, but in the end its hard to say no when you're dying of the plague and you really need those antibiotics. If you were sitting there, with a bomb in hand, contemplating your medical equipment, chances are you would have spared it, right?

  • Poignant till the end.

  • That guy reading the book is awfully familiar.

  • i find kinda creppy but yet interesting that the remains of ppl we hear of today and given thos creepy names couldle been just like us back then. lol great ending :D

  • I didn't get Bater's last sentence,..... Lil help????

  • @FourManArmyHD "You know it doesn't like that name...Silly me. Silly, silly me."

  • @MsDuppie yeah but what does he mean?

  • @XxXxFREAKxXxX1 Well you got me there. He probably means that he and Six (in fact angels) know God personally and that he doesn't like the name. I would assume he says "Silly me" because he realizes that God doesn't actually have any name. But I don't know for sure. That is a tough one.

  • @MsDuppie thought something like that, too, but i guess only the paper reading guy knows ^^

  • @MsDuppie He said "Silly me" after referring to God as an "it", instead of "SHE" ! God is Starbuck! LOL!!

... probably visited the little girl who looked up, just before the screen faded to white, and the story continued in the distant future. But what did she see? Could it have been Guardian Toasters and some other Dead End?!?!

  • @FourManArmyHD

    It's deliberately enigmatic.

    Two possible meanings:

    1) The entity which manipulated both the Cylons and Colonials isn't a true deity, but rather an advanced alien intelligence, and thus disdains attempts to ascribe supernatural monikers to it.

    2) Baltar's (the real Baltar) earlier statement about God being a force of nature - a being beyond human notions of good and evil - was correct, and 'God' disdains being called 'God' because it is utterly unlike how it is worshiped.

  • The whole Finale of Battlestar was frakking amazing already, the icing on the cake was 2:07 when it puts in perspective that a mechanical rebellion can happen again.

  • 22 people have no way out of here!

  • What vesion of 'All along the watchtower' is that at 2:00?

  • @clonecommander62 J. Hendrix's version

  • whats the name of the song in the end?

  • @LPBonsai aw hell no son. you must be joking ( it's all along the watchtower by sir james of hendrix ) In before some one says it was originally by bob dylan.

  • @Dantronic

    thanks :D

  • Comment removed

  • @LPBonsai all along the watchtower...

  • @LPBonsai All Along the Watchtower - J. Hendrix

  • Heh. Anyone overhearing them must think they're insane.

  • The final is so fracking epic I couldn't belive it when I saw it! Really really amazing in any second!

  • The reason they chose 150,000 years is that is when we were supposed to have migrated (or began migration) out of Africa. I like that they try and keep it in line with evolutionary out of Africa theory. A compliment to the intelligence of their viewers.

  • lol clooud

    me too! lol

  • After a good start BSG became a parody of itself, rediculous plot lines that were never explained, characters that changed sides more than britney has had shit songs, and this ending, Now THIS is a cop out ending.

  • @smokeyhatch14 Would you have preferred right after the last jump, the next scene they are all dead and going to Heaven because of solving their issues, which all of a sudden is revealed to be the ONLY purpose of the series?

All the characters in BSG have personal issues and suffer a lot of crap, yet the series is about run away from the cylons and finding Earth, and in that matter, the finale is awesome, also this epilogue

  • @crazytalkerman In BSG the characters were so inconsistent its laughable, One minute they are good the next they are evil, Then back again, it was stupid, And about your heaven comment, i gather that you are one of those who didnt pay any attention to LOST and think they were dead all along lol..

  • @smokeyhatch14 No, I know they were not dead all along. You won´t believe it, but I hate the Lost finale, because I love the characters, also I don´t care about the mysteries.

  • @smokeyhatch14 Im sorry do not defend LOST and criticize BSG. Of course they were inconsistent, they were designed to be as human as possible, humans are inconsistent and morality isn't real.

  • there's no movie or serie or even any video on youtube that has such an end. this is epic xD

  • So the Japanese are gonna invent cylons?

  • gukuug

  • 1.45 a smart blonde woman ,so funny ,so ireal

why is the city not Vancouver ,but Ny?

  • sooo... wtf are Gauis and 6???

  • @gunlover94 Angels

  • whats the name of the song at the end?

  • @DutchAntiChrist All along the watchtower, by legend Jimi Hendrix

  • Man reading magazine is producer Ron Moore, heh.

  • the paning over to the tv and the slide show gives me goosebumps.

Just the facial expression and the eyes of the robot looking directly at you while he is "dancing" and waving its arms gives me the impression that he saying or thinking "HELLO HERE I AM, IM BACK AND OH YEAH JUST WAIT IT IS GONNA HAPPEN AGAIN"

it just seems like he got brains

  • first law of science. If you give it a Brain, it will try to kill you!

  • Comment removed

  • I wonder where the Centurions are...I wonder if they would discover Earth and not remember their past with the humans on Earth.

  • I'm going to go dismantle my frakkin toaster right now.

  • Why is everboy fucking complaining? I mean sure, its not the ending we really were expecting. I would have liked it if they found Earth, but we were more advanced than them, with ships and colonies and how we welcomed them. But it wasnt that ending. And DONT say its lazy script writing, because the entire Seasons of BSG script were pure epicness! They put a shitload of effort into the script! Please, by all means, YOU try and create a sci-fi show, make it last for 4 seasons! BSG was EPIC!

  • @ScottJackson117 i actually find this ending much better because they found earth in its primal years :P

  • I hope we get a new show about cyborgs or androids soon some of the most interesting tv imo. Even in Terminator:SCC cameron was really interesting seeing her try to adapt and act human in school in public etc.

  • Fucking show was amazing to me, I would like to have a hot female asian robot :)

  • Fuck this supernatural/divine angels ending. This is supposed to be science fiction, not religious fiction. If I wanted to see some stupid mystical shit I would go to church. Basically its just lazy writing.

  • @hschan4 the WHOLE series was about religion, polythestic vs monothestic beliefs.

  • @hschan4 as feuerfremder said: but you see, what religious crap exactly?

    I see no religion there.

I see a highly advanced intelligent(so intelligent most of us would call it god(s) ) species shaping the future of highly inferior intelligent species known as humans.

    ITs no
