I'm aware of this. But unless Pelosi becomes President (let's pray we never see that happen!), she's still not in the military chain of command. I'm aware of this. But unless Pelosi becomes President (let's pray we never see that happen!), she's still not in the military chain of command. Yeah, the whole "enemies foreign & domestic" part is one of the reasons this bunch hates the military so much, although Congress takes an oath to support & defend the Constitution, so in that sense, many have broken their oath. Hell, most don't even know what's IN the Constitution and that's inexcusable, any way you look at it.

The point i was making is that the government is not beholden to support that army, its the other way around. If the gov was beholden the army, that would be a military dictatorship, and so to say that the gov should not criticize the military is and should support them no matter what they do/how they do it is to basically say the military should just run the gov and no one should complain.

First of all, being in the military doesn't mean shit about your knowledge of political issues and probably means you know very little about non-violent conflict resolution, so let leave that out, huh? Second, "Completed their misson" Um, no, No WMD's found. They did succeed in bringing in Al-queda to iraq though, killing tens of thousands of INNOCENT civilians, and sending a country into chaos it may not emerge from for years. Same with Afghanistan. It wasn't Bush but Clinton that had a way to get Bid Laden at least 4 times by a friend that ended up dying at Bid Ladens hands for Clinton Adm. was worrying that they might get blamed instead of worrying about our country's safety. Bush has kept us from getting attacked again there is no denying that, and I along with alot of people stood with him. How you can defend a man who tried to cut off funding for our military men and women - on numerous occassions - is beyond me.
We stand with Deborah Johns who has been an advocate for our troops, helping send over care packages and letters of support to them. She's welcomed returning troops home, and consoled those who lost a loved on in the war effort.
And her own son is a hero who has repeatedly served this country on missions as a United States Marine.
