  • I believe the 98-02 f-body's are faster then the new camaros from what I've seen.

  • @ddawg122184 I don't know. The new Camaros run consistent low 13's. I'd say only half of the LS1's ran low 13's, the rest would run mid 13's. The new Camaro is usually just a tad faster, but just two or three bolt on's with the LS1, and it will pick apart the new Camaro.

  • @ddawg122184 The 98-02 models were lighter... both models average in the low 13 range. Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords tested a bone stock LS1 years ago to the tune of 12.9, so it is unreal what those old LS1 cars are capable of. Just need to trim the fat on the new models.

  • I agree 100%. But can a 425 HP camaro that weighs 4000lbs make up for a 6-700lb weight disadvantage with only 80hp? I have a 93 lt1. Just bought a forged 355 engine,v1 s-trim kit,and I already run a nitrous outlet plate kit. I've raced both newer camaros and the new 5.0 mustang. I only made 389rwhp but I would run a second faster then any stock 2011+ 5.0. I even beat a 03 terminator with 479rwhp not because of power obviously but traction. On a side note how can I upload videos with my cell?

  • @ddawg122184 You're making 389WHP in your '93 LT1?! THAT is impressive. I had an old LT1 Z28 pull up next to me in the parking lot today, forgot how cool they actually sound. Still love and prefer my LS1, but the LT1 gets my respect.

I've never uploaded a video from a phone, usually the quality is so much poorer I've never tried. If you DL the youtube app, there should be an upload feature on it somewhere, I would imagine...

  • @ddawg122184 I think the new 5.0 Mustang makes around 375-380rwhp? I'd love to see your LT1... Send the videos to your email, then upload them from there.

  • Huggers

  • Lol I've searched these videos for the last half hour. 90% of them the old ls1 camaro wins and its always due to drivers error according to all the ford nut Niggers.

  • @ddawg122184 LS1 is no slouch, even against today's muscle cars. Its advantage is that it was a powerful engine for the time, put into a light car. It's much weaker compared to today's muscle cars that put out over 400HP, but it is much lighter than them. When a 6 spd manual LS1 is cutting low 13's and the new Camaro SS is also hitting low 13's, you know the LS1 is no slouch.

  • this is one of the failest drivers i have seen in a long time

  • I could have had dinner and written an 8 page research paper before 5.0 guy could shift from first to second.

  • lol wow....new 5.0 should have raped that 4th gen with 2.73's

  • Why own a car like that if you can't drive for shit? SMH

  • someone give that guy a driving lesson

  • Wow, dude in the mustang needs some driving lessons bad.

  • Total bad driver he granny shifting it everytime. Idiot shoulda got him an automatic

  • Know where I can buy a 2005 Camaro?

  • @svtmattUT Are you being dumb?

Camaro ran from 1967 to 2002. After that they discontinued it. It was brought back in 2010, therefore there was never a 2005 model.

  • bitch please, any good driver can tell the mustang guy is shifting like a dumbass.

  • Comment removed

  • @HungDaddyVEVO They did add power, but not very much. With the exhaust on the car pulls a lot stronger when I nail it at 60-80MPH, sets me back in my seat like it didn't before. The Lid didn't do much, but it does feel a bit more touchy on the gas pedal. Between the two of them I should have at least a 10HP increase, 15 tops.

  • @HungDaddyVEVO Mileage didn't decrease, it may have increased. In my auto I get 16-17 city, and 25-27 on the highway.

  • Comment removed

  • @HungDaddyVEVO SLP is one of the bigger suppliers of aftermarket LS1 parts, but it doesn't mean they're the best. The lid was the cheapeast and easiest to install of all aftermarket ones, that's why I got it. The LM1 cat-back was also one of the cheapest, and it sounds good. But sometimes it's too loud, the drone gets old. I'm not familiar with Magnaflow, so I can't say. But I would like to add a Borla muffler to my set up, give it more tone.

  • Mustang dude is probably 1 of the worst drivers ive ever seen in my life. Wow man you REALLY dont deserve that car.

  • @FekalMatters All this hate for the Mustang driver? My Camaro doesn't get any credit at all?

  • @Quatermain98526 no, because he sucks that bad.

  • @laptoph4x Who sucks that bad?

  • @Quatermain98526 The mustang driver sucks that bad. Sounded like he didn't push the pedal all the way. At this rate, you'll rape him all day. Give him a month to learn how to drive it right, then race him again. Results won't be the same.

  • @mrgoodbar Well obviously. My car ran a personal best of 13.57 in the 1/4 mile. This Mustang with an average driver will be hitting 13.0 all day, with a good driver they'll be in the 12's.

  • @FekalMatters yeah he should let me have it or you it doesnt matter just someone teach him how to drive!

  • @FekalMatters Agreed. I'm a LS1 owner and that was such bull shit. The 5.0 should Of killed him from a dig. And the ls1 had stock 2.73s SMH

  • dude in the mustang.... jeez learn to drive

  • @Seldomdark88 I know, if he had driven it as he should have, his car should have raped mine.

  • just goes to show you the 9 year gap just didnt make that much of a difference. high 12 5.0 vs a low 13 f body. guy still cant drive though. all the camaro needs is gears and a stall and its over

  • The guy driving the Mustang sucks ass, that car kicks the shit out of the camaro up to the current year.

  • Dang what was wrong with the Mustang? Were the gears grinding in the tranny? Did the #8 piston let go? Did the clutch pedal fall to the floor? I would ask if the drive shaft shattered but he did get it up to speed.

  • @Sonof7998 If you listen on the first race the Mustang misses 3rd gear and completely grinds the gears. It sounds really nasty. His biggest problem in the race was slow shifting and shifting too early, not getting it up in the powerband.

  • @Quatermain98526 hey how much did your exhaust kit cost you?

  • @SuperSnake330CID $380 for the complete cat-back, resonator and all. It's also stainless steel, with a life time warranty.

  • @Quatermain98526 nice. sounds pretty healthy

  • @SuperSnake330CID Thanks. Personally I'm getting a little tired of the highway drone. I plan on adding a Borla muffler to it to quiet things down and add a little more tone to it.

  • You can make any muscle car good if you do enough to it, and know how to drive it haha.

  • LMFAO THAT PUSSY IN THE MUSTANG AINT EVEN REDLINING IT lol i wish i could afford a new stang to show yall dumbases how to drive it

  • Killkdc5 ill take dat free flight us trade hospital bill for a dinner and a movie lolz

  • @SFBay69 listen to your own words the LS1 made camaro owners cocky. Do you own a Z06 if not don't talk about how they beat every ford. I hope they do considering they cost $20,000 more than a Shelby. Now if you want to compare it to a super snake we can do it all day long since cost is in proximity.

  • I ran 12.80@112.41 with a 2.1 60' in 70* temps. Stock 6 speed 3.31 gears, if you read other magazines like u stated muscle mustangs & fast fords put DRs on stock 6 speed and ran 12.3 in warm weather. The camaros look nice but they can no longer bully straight from the factory alot of the arrogant camaro owners can't handle that.

  • @Bigson1980 No one is arrogant. Ford did thier homework with this new engine. Props. I owned a 92' fox body 5.0 in 1992. They were kicking camaro's ass for awhile. GM and Ford trade pony car positions all the time. That is what America is all about.

  • Dude in the Mustang can obviously not drive worth a rats ass, I'm not brand loyal dude but the new Mustang GT would put a hurtin on a 2001 Camaro badly.....especially the Boss.

  • @airbornbuckeye Yeah I know. This video just goes to show that sometimes you'll run into bad drivers, and a weaker car can sometimes beat a more powerful car.

  • All that work done and still no contest. If the 5.0 had the same mods it would be pathetic. LOL

  • @killakdc5 All I had was a lid and cat-back. Even with the mods I had, this 5.0 should have walked me. He just wasn't good at driving the car yet.

  • the fbody needs to be brought back. that new camaro is just too fat looking and damn heavy

    id take the 3400 lb 2000 z28 over a 3900 lb 2010 ss/zl1

  • @gmpushrodsftw The new Camaro is a car that appeases the masses. It's comfortable, easy to drive, has more space, looks more appealing, etc. The F-body was a true drag car, light with few options. I'd love to see the LS3 in an F-body, see what it could do.

  • He's right it's the driver. I raced a gt500 in my 2011 5.0 and he spun though first and second and I walked away from him and it took almost a mile for him to catch up. Driven right the new mustang is a beast

  • @SFBay69 LS1

  • Learn to drive a stick Mustang driver. Shifting at 4k rpm isn't going to beat a civic si.

  • Mustang driver needs to learn how to drive the car.

  • LSx > DOHC..

  • @SFBay69 Is the new 5.0 a DOHC?

  • @SFBay69

your stupid, your outdated LSx engine is weak. The 2011 5.0 has beaten the new camaro SS every single time! Your just plain retarded. Think before you speak.

  • @killakdc5 Oooh wow a 5.0 has beaten an SS heavy as shit lead sled camaro...dumbfuck. That's not like the car is the problem...dumbshit.

  • @killakdc5 Ls7 z06 still rapes every fucking piece of ford today out of the factory, kid. Lay off the crack or meth.

  • @SFBay69 Meth? Come say it to my face. I would pay to say that! No a z06 doesn't killall fords at all. I beat down z06's all say long. You are just a fucking e-thug!!

  • @killakdc5 Pussy. Nice piece of shit 2005 you drive? LOL

  • @SFBay69 Come race me or say shit to my face. you are the fuckin pussy! your a bitch! My car destroys z06's!! so fuck you punk!

  • @killakdc5 LOL... Your 2005 is a piece of shit! LOL LOL LOL..get a new car you poor ass motherfucker. I wouldn't even waste 1 gallon of gas racing that ford piece of shit.

  • @SFBay69 Like i said you fucking dick sucking bitch, come say it to my face. I will stomp your dumbass face into the ground! I rape z06's and my car is awesome.

  • @killakdc5 Your car is an old piece of shit and you wont stomp nothing becuz you are a 12 year old child. Forget to take your meds agin?

  • @SFBay69 Old? You dont think you are? you are born in 1969 and my car was made in 2005. You are old. hahaaa

  • @SFBay69 In fact i will buy your flight over here. You just let me know i will pay your flight here, your hospital visit, and your flight back. If you think i am just talkin shit, then i suggest you think again. I am dead serious. We are about to see how badass you really are motherfucker.

  • nice run

  • Well being a racer it's expected. With a good driver the odds are 9 out of ten. I see it all day the new cars come to the track and the manuals are almost always quicker. And we both had slicks. He beat me in a street race on regular tires but if it was a freeway race id have passed him. He got me off the line but by the end i was starting to pass him till we ran out of road.

  • Btw i have a 95 z28 6 speed and my buddy had a 97 z28 auto with a stall.. and when i went with slicks i walked him everytime.

  • @tallica00005 And what happened when the 97 Z28 got slicks?

  • 9 times out of 10 the manual cars are faster than the automatic. The difference is consistency in an auto and thats why racers choose automatic cause they're racing for a consistent time not a faster ET.

  • @tallica00005 I'm not sure I would say 9 times out of 10, that's too frequent. Maybe if you have a driver in the manual who knows exactly what to do and makes no mistakes. But even good drivers will short shift, and float the gears too long sometimes. And most new cars record the exact same time between auto and manual.

  • is the stang pushrod or dohc? I'm mostly chevy guy, so i know chevy cars much better than i do fords

  • @chuckmekere I'm pretty sure the new 5.0 is an OHC, maybe DOHC. But I know it's not pushrod for sure.

  • the fucking facts that auto is faster than manual in a Drag

  • @chuckmekere If it was a 6 speed auto vs a 6 speed manual, the auto might win more races.

But the Camaro came in a 6 speed manual and 4 speed auto, usually a well driven 6 speed manual will beat the auto. Now if the auto had a stall, only mod, auto would walk it every time.

  • 5.0 had a rookie driver lol. both cars are sick but if both were bone stock the mustang wud take it.

  • @smaho27 I don't think my intake and cat-back mods helped me out that much.

  • The cat in the Mustang wasn't coming any where close to redline. So this video clearly shows that either the Mustang driver is a complete idiot or, this video was planned so that the Camaro would win.

  • @MrVTXFrank So you think he missed 3rd gear on purpose for the first race?

Read the description. The car was still very new to him, he'd only had it for a week maybe two, and had not really raced it yet. His previous car was a 2007 Cobalt SS, the Mustang GT is a LOT different. By all rights, the Mustang should have crushed me...this video just shows that an inexperienced driver can lose to a less powerful car.

  • face the fucking facts

  • Driver mod needed in 5.0 bad. Nice cars.

  • @Quatermain98526 ya I do not like it at all sounds like its got an inch exhaust on it..and nothing can beat the sound of a ls1..hell I have a grand prix gxp the ls4 sounds nasty coming from a grand prix lol

  • Wow that mustang sounds like shit!!!

  • @bigcam350 Lol really? I kinda like the sound of it. 'Course I still think the LS1 sounds MUCH better.

  • @Quatermain98526 i have NEVER heard a LS1 that sounds good....unless you like that sort of sound of single exaust v8.................lol

  • @87gt342 It's all personal preference. Personally, I like the sound of the 2v Mustang GT the best, then the old 5.0's, then the LS1. Of course I am a little biased since I own an LS1.

  • Another 5.0 Mustang losing to a Chevy Camaro!

  • @ParisTNDude Gotta keep people respecting the LS1.

  • @Quatermain98526 You're right about that. I ran 3 or 4 Mustang 5.0s at Memphis International Raceway a month ago and none of them could run any better than 12.98. My 2010 Camaro isn't stock, but it doesn't have anything that doesn't come stock on a Mustang 5.0 and I weigh another 300 lbs more than the 5.0 and I was running 12.4s. LS engines are the best engines in the world!

  • @ParisTNDude Best engines in the world? Haha lets get real. LS Engines aren't bad as long as you stick to the ol' H/C/I bullshit. On the other hand back in 03 and 04 Ford had the Terminator with Forged Internals (Something Bowtie Boys or even old men who drive Vettes dont get unless you go drop $110,000 on a ZR1) that can easily hold 800+ to the wheels. Now lets fastforward to the GT500's All come with Forged Internals, And even now with aluminum blocks which will supports 1000+ to the wheels.

  • @Chase389 I guess it doesn't matter if they're forged or not and all of your "forged" examples are much slower than the non-forged Chevys so, what's the point of your comment? I guess what you're saying is the Ford engine is forged but it's a dog...ok...I'll buy that. Look at the NHRA record book and you'll find Chevy's dominate and the LS has a winning record in every racing venue....period! Fastest Nurburgring times (no Fords), LeMans 6 time winners and manufacturers trophys..get real and look

  • @ParisTNDude Slow? I hate to break it to you buddy. If anythings slow here its your little new overpriced Camaro. I guess you really are another Bowtie boy with there head up there ass. If you looked at it from a mod view then you would clearly get the picture. The GT500's and Termi's are super mod friendly and once you get close to 450 to the wheels your not going to have to spend a couple grand forging you engine, But hey whatever floats your boat. And do you want me to even mention the

  • @Chase389 You can believe that if you want to, but if you would spend just a little time at the drag strip you would know what a bogus comment you just made. the GT500 runs 12.5s bone stock and any Z06 C5 or C6 will beat it.

  • @ParisTNDude You sure about that? Theres actually a video of a stock GT500 with slicks breaking into the 11's. Traction's there biggest problem. And my point is your bashing Ford engines and Im saying they were beating Ferrari's back in the day. You need me to draw that out for you or do you get it now?

  • @Chase389 The Ford engine in the 60s bares no resemblance to todays engines. With all the advantages, weight, gears, factory headers/CAI, the 5.0 Mustang should win every race, but it doesn't! I'm not bashing the 5.0...I believe it's a great engine and I wish I had one, but the majority of 5.0s are running low 13s not the 12.2s these guys dream up. I'm just trying to get the Mustang fanboys to see that the Camaro is just as fast and that the Magazine comparos prove it. I really like 5.0 stangs!

  • @ParisTNDude Fastest all stock 5.0 runs a 12.2 1/4 mile Fastest all stock SS runs a 12.5 1/4 mile

It's a widely known fact that the new Mustang is faster than the new Camaro.

  • @ParisTNDude As do I man, Now dont get me wrong the LS Motors are mean as hell, I like them. I'd kill for an LS7. Every Company has its ups and downs, its pros and cons. Any car can beat any car. Now days anymore its just who ever has the most money is going to win,

  • @Chase389 I've had a lot of Mustangs in my days and I'm probably not through yet. I traded a 2008 Mustang Bullitt for the Camaro. It was a nice car and it sounded good with Corsas, but it was really slow. I traded for the Camaro when the Mustang had 7500 miles on it and mostly because i got beat by a Chevy Cobalt...lol. The Chevy dealership guy wanted my Mustang and gave me almost retail for it in trade and came of the Camaro price by a$1K when other dealers were getting a mark up. A good deal!!

  • @ParisTNDude Haha Oh I understand man, Its always fun to jump around from car to car and wait until you find something you really like. Thats what I did, I had an 08 GT/CS threw a ton of money at it, Got bored with it and ended up trading straight across for an 03 Terminator Vert, With a KB Mammoth and all that fun stuff. Now Im contemplating whether I should go ahead and tear it apart, Stroke it to a 5.0, throw a smaller pulley on it, and turn the boost up or try and find a Built Z06.

  • @Chase389 I happen to have a whole set of 10th anniversery wheels and Nitto extreme tires plus Nitto drag radials for a 5 bolt mustang. Would like to sell them. I ran a Terminator modded at Beechbend last year and he was only running low 12s. My car was only slilghtly modded at the time with a CAI and a handheld tuner tune and it was running only 12.8s.

  • @ParisTNDude Was that when you had your Bullitt or SS?

  • @Chase389 Sorry, was what when I had my Bullitt or SS??

  • @ParisTNDude The 2011 stock hit a 12.7 while being tested by Motor Trend. A couple of really good drivers out there should hit 12.5 or 12.6 with the right conditions. While the LS series engines have usually been one of the best in muscle car wars, that' is changing now. The new Coyotte 5.0 from Ford is just as responsive to mods, produces the same power and it's in a lighter car.

  • @Quatermain98526 Yes, Motor trend didn't even believe it so they dynoed the car and it pulled 435 HP to the wheels...how does that happen with a 412 hp car....it's called a factory "ringer". Did you even watch the videos I mentioned? No, you want to cling to a single bogus test. Hemming, Road & Track, Car & Driver, Stangnet all showed the Mustang losing to the Camaro by one to two tenths in the quarter. Are you going to ignore 4 testers to one motor trend test? I guess so.

  • @ParisTNDude 435HP to the wheels? So a 412HP car actually has close to 470HP at the crank now? I don't believe that for a second. 435 CRANK HP is possible. Maybe you should recheck your statement.

  • @Quatermain98526 You know, all you have to do is search Youtube for 2011 Mustang dyno test and you will see it for yourself. If you haven't checked it at all, you're not exactly a great debater!

  • @ParisTNDude Just looked up 4 videos for the 2011 Mustang GT dyno. The lowest one was 373WHP and the highest one was 389WHP. None of those are even close to 435WHP. You're a fucking moron.

  • @Quatermain98526 Find the video that Motor Trend did to test the 2011 Mustang on the K&N Dyno. Clearly, even Mustang loving Motor Trend stated that the 2011 Mustang that ran the 12.7 second run against the Camaro SS was making 435 HP not the 412 advertised. Ford gave them a "ringer". Do you know what kind of mods you have to have to make 23 more HP? At least a non-factory dyno tune or headers. Motor Trend is the only magazine that even broke into the 12s with a bone stock 5.0!

  • @Quatermain98526 Are you trying to tell me a 2002 Z28 has more HP than the 2011 5.0? If must have and if you don't believe it, just go to the top of this page and click the little arrow button and you'll watch an LS Chevy engine kick Mustang Butt! My Camaro runs 12.4s and I would have no trouble at all running bone stock 2009 and older GT500s...most wouldn't run any better than 12.6s. When they supercharged the Hennessey HP550, the Camaro beat it in the quarter by a half second..pow, take that

  • @Quatermain98526 I just searched Youtube and found the article and video...check it out...they say K&Ns dyno proves Ford is either a lier, cheater or sent Motor Trend a "ringer" for the test. None of the other magazines found the Mustang running sub 12 second runs. You need to do a little better job of research, man.

  • @ParisTNDude The 2011 Mustang GT runs the 1/4 mile in 12.7, this has been tested extensively. Some people can cut better times, but the accepted average is a 12.7.

  • @Quatermain98526 You do realize that testing extensively in your mind is the Motor Trend bogus comparo where it ran a 12.7. The car wasn't stock since it make 23 more HP than Ford claims. If you could read or watch a video, you would find the bone stock 5.0 runs about 13.2 or 13.3. Look for the Car & Driver, Hemmings, and Road & track all three clearly show the Camaro beating the Mustang. Or...you could just watch this video and see what a 10 year old 330 HP LS1 engine does to a 5.0 Mustang!!!!!

  • @ParisTNDude Are you retarded? The 5.0 as tested by almost EVERYONE gets 12's. Anyone who can't hit at least 12's in a 5.0 is a moron of a driver. And 435 CRANK HP is believable. I believe Ford may have underrated these motors, just like Chevy did for the Camaro. Corvette had a 350HP LS1, Camaro had a 325HP LS1...same engine, and sometimes Camaros would dyno more than the Vette.

  • @Quatermain98526 You must be retarded!! I hate Mustang fanboys who simply won't take the time to search Youtube! Search for 2011 Mustang vs Camaro SS Car & Driver, Road & Track, and Insideline and then come back and eat some crow! What tests are you talking about??? Motor Trend is the only magazine I know of that pretends that the Mustang beat the Camaro. Even Popular Mechanics says it will do only 13 second runs. 5.0 Mustang Mag could only do 8.6s at 84 in the 1/8th estimate 12.6s with slicks

  • @ParisTNDude The only reason I beat this 5.0 is because he couldn't shift very well. I took my car to the drag strip, ran a 13.57. While respectable, a 5.0 Mustang with a good driver would eat me alive.

  • @Quatermain98526 Looked to me like you pulled on him in a couple of the runs. Seriously, of 5 5.0s at the Memphis drag strip in 60 degree weather only one was able to break into the 12s at 12.98. I have videos of two of them and one is posted on my YouTube videos. Most were turning 13.6s and the one in my video was the one that turned the 12.98 and he had at least exhaust on it and in the back window the name of a dyno tune company. I disagree with your assessment on 5.0s.

  • @ParisTNDude I pulled on him when he shifted, and it's only because he was slow shifting. I have no doubt that many 5.0 Mustangs are running 13 second 1/4 miles, it's because they don't know how to drive it to the maximum extent and get 132's out of it.

  • @ParisTNDude Shelby Cobra's in the 60's? You know the ones that kicked Ferrari's ass.

  • @Chase389 And, your point is??? The Cobra wasn't even built by Ford or Shelby. They dropped a Ford Motor in a British car and raced it. The GT40 wasn't even built in America...so, I'm not understanding your point.

  • now im a chevy guy i hate fords but that camero is just too heavy if they take bout 500 or more pounds off of it it will be a fast car but its fast enough now :)

  • @sarge0256 You mean the new Camaro right? It weighs around 3800-3900 lbs. I had my 2001 Camaro weighed, it's 3,440 lbs. If the new Camaro weighed what my car weighed, with 100HP more than my car, it'd be VERY fast.

  • Any day I'm 29 now and when I'm 69 I'm still gonna have a 4th generation Camaro sitting in my garage to take out on Sunday, nobody has more respect for a 4th generation Camaro owner than me, it takes one to know one.

  • @cornucopia4444 I keep telling myself the same thing. Soon I'm going to buy another car, make it my DD and just store this one forever and ever, show my kids and grand kids some day what some of the cars back in 1990's and 2000's were all about. Want to save this iconic piece of American history.

  • Hey Quatermain I like your style man I drive an '01 Z28 exactly the same as yours only mines silver that's about the only difference, I think ya did a pretty good job against a car ten years newer than yours, I've had this exact same race happen to me, same matchup, with some random dude I ran into at a redlight, only difference was this guy was a he'll of a lot better at shifting gears then your friend there and I got spanked real good by the new GT, but who cares I'd take your Z over his GT a

  • @cornucopia4444 Thanks. I know better than to think I can beat or hang with any new Mustang GT, they are very impressive cars all around. But considering the age difference, the HP difference, and all that I'd say my car did alright. I have a new video up on my page, ran a 2009 Pontiac G8 GT at the 1/4 mile. My car ran a 13.57 at 104.85MPH. My first time to the drag strip too.

  • Lol I'm just playin man these people on YouTube always say shit it is a nice camaro tho and I really don't even like the new 5.0 that much that's one fast z28 man nice work

  • @branman50314 Thank you, I finally get some respect for my Camaro. I know that with a good driver that Mustang should be a LOT faster than my Camaro, but I think my car is quick for what it is. It's fun enough for me to drive.

  • lol i think the 5.0 is starting off in 6 gear

  • @branman50314 lol. damn man, this guy is my friend, can he catch a break and someone just say my Camaro did alright?

  • @branman50314 i know who ever is driving that mustang needs to be kicked in the balls....embarrasing. no reason in the world that stang should have walked his ass. OH and for doing a ricer drive by....

  • @hootieti Lol, yeah he did do a ricer fly by. Haha. We are good friends though, and he was still very new to the car at this time, had it for two weeks and had never raced it yet. Can I get some credit for my Camaro just being a decently quick car?

  • @Quatermain98526 you know what man....since you seem to be cool...yes i will, you know us ford guys, gotta talk shit just cause. it is actually good going. high five.

  • talkin about non driving granny shiftin!!

  • clearly the 5.0 driver sucks. his shifting seems a bit too early. you can tell from the roll race that the mustang pulls it... i still love my ls1 :)

  • @mrdragking13 Yeah, I thought he was going to smoke me...turns out shifting plays a huge role in a manual car.

  • Speed shift that 5.0, made to be drivin hard

  • @untamedmusclealbert he's still getting the hang of it.

  • That dude in the 5.0 sure is one of the most pathetic stick shift drivers i have ever watched.

  • @jason892000 Lol, yeah he is still getting used to the Mustang. He told me give him two weeks and he'll be ready for a re-match. Stay tuned.

  • Gotta love that LS1! And a win is a win my friend.

  • @Revo21384 I sure do love my LS1, but I have nothing but respect for these 5.0's. In the right hands they are a very fast and very powerful car.

  • @Quatermain98526 I have an automatic 5.0 that I traded in a LS1 for....Love both cars, but the 5.0 is ridiculous! There is a small range where flooring the auto 5.0 doesnt have quite the response you would expect....but from a dig and from about 15-20 mph, its fucking retarded how fast the car is!

  • @Revo21384 And the 5.0 won here too....Nothing wrong with the LS1 though, used to own 1

  • looked right. YOu gave the 5.0 the hit every time, but his shifting was slow so it made up for it.

  • @aZX14blurr Yeah, I was late on my launches every time, no excuse for that on my part. I didn't want to anticipate the honk and jump the gun, instead the opposite happened. For the re-match I will try to make sure that doesn't happen, but then I'm sure my friend will learn how to shift by that time too.

  • @riddick20079 Thanks, I like to think my car is quick for what it is and its age.

  • Good runs. Worse driver in the 5.0 yet...lol

we give him pass since he just got it. Remember to give him the tips I gave on LS1tech.

  • @ohioborn80 Just a testament that a mostly stock LS1 can hang with these new bad ass motors if the driver isn't fully familiar with the car. I won't let this go to my head and think I can smoke every Mustang out there though.

  • @Quatermain98526 YA i know what you mean. Hopefully he getting better at driving it. LOL

  • @ohioborn80 Planning a re-match in about two weeks. Stay tuned.
