  • I read all these comments and I see that there is a common theme, hardly anybody knows much about this song, Go back in time to 1994 Rolling Stones Voodoo Lounge album, track 5.

All I can say is most of you are younger than me, so I can understand you might not know a lot about the stones, but your generation invented this thing called the internet & this other thing called Google & Wikiepedia, damm does us old farts gotta teach you everything, LOL LOL

  • nice to hear him like this

where does this song come from?

i have read a lot about keith lately and am re discovering his music and him,

    a fierce character

    ferocious sometimes

    but a decent man too

  • Nice pics of Keith and wonderful song. Thanks!

  • Who's he singing with?

  • @herbiemarx01 mick jagger

  • @herbiemarx01 No one, he overdubbed the harmony part.

  • read "life" bloody quality i say! keith is me daddy! muah!

  • happy birthday sweetheart....XXX

  • This man IS Rock'n'Roll... in all the ways.

  • i am so in love with this man!!!!!

  • he's the best ;)

  • thank you keith!

  • LOVLELY SONG!

  • hacía mucho que no escuchaba este album.....great guy!

  • amazing man! nuff said! hail keith!

  • Keith didn't sleep with women just because they were there....he wanted to love the person and have some kind of relationship with the woman.

  • I'd like to see Daniel Day-Lewis play the lead in a movie about the life/career of Keith Richards.

  • Anybody who shares his recipe for "Bangers and Mash" can't be all bad (re: his autobiography LIFE). He's got a really good sense of humor and has been through a lot in his life.

  • the last great harmony from the Glimmer Twins....Mick's back up vox just make the song soar....if only they would put out a country rock album....

  • Read his autobiography. Likeable bloke, and (I imagine) a good friend to have. Can't sing a lick, but can deliver a song like the devil on a Harley.

  • beautiful

  • How can you not like this?!?!

  • Thanks for posting -- what a captivating collage..... .Keith's "LIFE" is a must read for any self respecting Stones fan......totally changed my view of Keith - who is now my fave Stone . Great Guy ....genial, generous , genuine.......and bloody funny!!!

  • the man they couldn't root, shoot or electrocute - and the most under rated muso of the modern era as far as playing and overall influence goes - no keef, no now !!

  • I prefer his personality to Jagger's. But I'm not running Jagger down. Just that when I read about Richard, I think " role model and decent guy".

  • @Kelly14UK That is awesome, I am LOL'ing out of control right now picturing Keith Richards as a Role Model to kids!

  • @cgraber His attitude to girlfriends ( so I'm told) and women seems to be at odds with certain songs from Aftermath. But I like what I hear about him. You laugh at people, you laugh at your worst suspiscions of yourself.

  • @Kelly14UK Apparently you don't understand sarcasm. Keith as a role model to children? Really? 4 decades of unabashed drug abuse? I love Keith. He banged more groupies than probably anyone in RnR. He is definately one of my idols, but Mr,. Richard's antics are not kid friendly to say the least.

  • @cgraber Yeah, but we Brits don't find sarcasm funny, and no one likes being laughed at. Put it this way, if I want to say something friendly on YT ( and I don't like spreading bad Karma to fellow fans), I steer well clear of sarcasm as text is flat and devoid of subtleties people automatically understand.

  • @Kelly14UK I wasn't laughing at you, I was laughing at the idea of Keith being considered as a role model to children. Lighten up toots, don't be so serious. My british friends are some of the smarmiest, most sarcastic bastards I've ever met, and I love them for it.

  • @cgraber Yeah, I used the wrong terminology. " Role model" is for kids. What I meant was that I was impressed by his loyalty to girlfriends ( so I'm told, but it's a continuous theme ) and kindness to animals. THAT's what I meant.

Now I suggest you read your first comment and see how it could be initially percieved. BTW, I find the second half of your posting downright patronising. Who the hell are you to pick on me and give me a character lecture? And less of the annoying nicknames, pal.

  • @Kelly14UK Yeah, his wife Patti said that when she went through cancer he was by her side the whole time. Pallenburg never said anything bad either according to the Stones lore. I guess that a good relationship is possible as long as the girl accepts the dalliances with groupies that are part of being in the greatest rock and roll band in the world. But then, europe doesn't seem to have the same uptight sexual outlook that we have here in the bible banging US.

  • @cgraber That's exactly what I meant. No way would I say he was a role model for teenagers. Even I wouldn't touch smack.

  • People bash the Stones for their more recent work (as if something 15 years old could be called "recent"), but this song shows they were and are still on top of their game. Nobody does country like the Rolling Stones.

  • the soul of the rolling stones....The worst !! I´ love Keith.

  • Keith IS rock-n-roll, With out him the word " hip " would have no meaning. He's the

one everyone tries to copy, when it comes to the BADBOY ROCKER thing. I mean this cat dinked the first lady of a country, THAT'S ROCK-N-ROLL baby!!!!!

  • @wc4dblues In fact it was Ronnie who got Margaret Trudeau, not Keith. Just saying.

  • He is like no one else. No one can ever be like him. He is the absolute rock and roll icon.

  • I'm brazilian. In english:

"He might not be the best, but he was the most sensational of them for such dedication to the group and the significant amount of good songs he composed. When it comes to him it´s "road" and "rock´n roll "!"

  • Such an excellent piece of Richard's....Always a favorite, for Me; a deep set Boone, the Steely Stone - A most Precious Gem in One's Heart....and, I Love the photos you have chosen for your video...Keith is just One, Absolutely Beautiful Cat, through and through.....Thanks so much for the Video!!!
