  • Sounds bit like a pneumatic wave machine motor powering down

  • sweet sound!

  • pull the ejection lever.. fastest way to shutdown the engine..

  • so much for just taking out the keys :P

  • Hmm is there kind of a checklist that you could give out? If its not classified, because i got interested in Falcon 4 AF again and i do not have a engine shutdown checklist, even in the Aeyes pits there is none.

  • YGBSM! You must really love yourself. I've been flying Vipers for 19 years and never thought about posting videos of myself shutting a motor off. Do you really jack with the FLCS panel before shutdown? Hope you have gotten some self-esteem by now. Please post your name/squadron, Mr. AirlinePilot20008.

  • @YGBSM16

You have been flying vipers for 19 years? Funny since your profile say your 30 now.. Didnt know you could start flying at 11 years of age :p

  • @YGBSM16 Who flies fighters for 19 years? Most guys I know get to fly them for maybe 8-10 years at the max. And your profile says you're 31 now. All this negativity from a bullshitter. Bad.

  • use a hammer

  • man i wannna that fly soo bad

  • i can't imagine too much being different from my block 25 and that block 30 besides the GE engine.

  • MY block 25, doe we have a real F16 pilot in the room xD

  • oh that's cool, we just have a 7 level do it for us.

  • a level 7? :D

  • well that answers my question.

  • Its a block 30 "C" model. Yes there are a few small differences in the block 40 as opposed to the 30, A different "eyebrow" light set up and the major difference is the flight control panel. The self test for the flight controls is way shorter than the 30 and there is only one switch to put it into test as opposed to the 30 where you have to do a reset, place the the switch to test, and advance 3 times. The 50 cockpit utilizes the helmet mounted "HUD"

  • which model of F-16 is that? and are there any major differences between the blocks, inside the cockpit?

  • Awesome. I hope when I join the Air Force, I'll be flying our F-16's as well.

I just think now with, seeing you turning all these buttons and all.. its just so cool if you know what they all do. Ofcourse its a matter of time to get to know them, but still..It's awesome :)

    Thanks for sharing!

  • You can start to learn it with Falcon 4.0 Allied Force or Open Falcon.

With those combat flight simulator, you can even join a virtual fighter wing like I did.

One of our virtual pilots is also a CF-18 (canadian version of the A/F-18) pilot.

  • lol that's a ge because on a pw you have to rev up then shut down.
