i enjoyed this movie.........dylan is an enigma ....no one has him figured out.....he's just a guy like you or me but with a lot more to say.......... so many people who need to follow, follow idols instead of someone like christ....... it's the cult of personality  but back to reality..........cate blanchett really stole the show, but i love this song, makes me wanna keep pressin' on.........

Hollywood in general is full of self indulgent donkeys who get way overpaid to play make pretend like we did when we were 6. The machine cranks out pretty people (until they're over 30 ) who spend absurd dollars on the lastest pair of shoes or watches. I can't contribute to the "pretty ones" Be it Mr. Bale, or anyone else in that laughable buisness. "Art " has been absent in Hollywood for a long. long time" Gonna change my way of thinkin', make myself a different set of rules...."

@shotofdylan The theatre was well recieved by people who weren't Dylan historians. I consider myself a decent critic oh film and this was good thought provoking film. It was not expected or accurate, it was true to the artists vision and created as that; without thought of an audience. It pissed off more than it pleased but it pleased some.

@shotofdylan I laughed when i saw your handle. Dylan fans hate the thing he loved so much; interpretation and expression. I laughed because I bet Dylan fans all over the world said the same as your comment about the Newport folk festival. If you felt an emotion from this film or Dylans work you did what Haynes or Dylan wanted. Sometimes that emotion is pissed off.

One of the greatest moments in Movie history!:) LOLOL So Awesome. Bale is strung out late 70s early 80s Dylan...freakin amazing. I am a Jew and I get on my knees and I point towards the heavens every time on this part!...and a bong hit:) So awesome.

I turned off this movie before getting to this part. Jesus, Christian Bale does not carry himself with Dylan's cool. This looks like a Will Ferrell sketch.
