Hmm... I think everybody's minds don't have to be blown. Seems like they have messed up a bit themselves. The Church asking the Yellow Church what he did, is already a later version of that same Yellow Church, so he would know what he had done before he asked because he (himself) had already done it. Still the joke is pretty funny.

I do remember it being explained in a later episode (like the prev. comment states) but in this episode this makes no sense.
