ok heres the thing, if you listen to the english version on itunes it doesnt say any of these words, on itunes it dont say "after you after you" it says "in the void in the void". sorry to say this but I think the itunes one has to be correct considering it is the actual singers singing. whoever posted this had some bad sources. sorry :/
@tobirankai I bought it off itunes, from there cd Mirrors, it has 3 english remakes. Dead Stars was one of them. Its a preview of their new English album. the other songs were My Angel (AngelO.K.) and mirrors
Lots of English songs are very bland, but they don't need to be: it's a very beautiful and varied language. There are lots of English-speaking music artists who have created wonderful lyrics...and take a look at English poetry; there are more amazing things there. Russian is beautiful, but I love my mother tongue too.
Just to comment on this little translation debate that seems to be going on: I don't think there's anything inherently "dry" or meaningless about any language. I mean, sure, things are always better when you can understand them in the original language, but as a person who only knows Russian to a begginer level, I can still look at the lyrics here and find that I adore them; they're very deep and meaningful.
the band is amazing and now with the subtitels it's even better but even i think that it's in russian sounds better then in english , Band nice ,subs nice thx 4 upp
@frichikendz Well i understand what your saying (though i dont fully agree) i love that it has translations so i can understand it, but saying that English takes away meaning from the song is really harsh and uncalled for. The only thing that should matter is that the artist is being honest and real not what language they happen to be speaking. I'm sorry if i sounded like an ass but since im a musician who rights in English and the very little German i know iwas kind of offended by your comment
Just finished uploading a proper translation of this song a few minutes ago. Honestly, until I posted it and tried searching, I never knew anyone had done a subtitled version.
I think comparing this version to the one I just made will illustrate some very serious differences in the two versions. Be your own judge.
In my accepting she is screaming like mother Nature, like hurricanes, like thunders, like earthquakes. The subject of the song in Russian is „stop falling down, I'm falling following you! It is as simple as a wife kooking a lot and eating a lot and the husband likes it, but screaming: STOP! Sorry for such a simple translation :) I love SLOT!
5 years studying of russian language gave me... confidence. Confidence that this language has so rich vocabulary that nobody can translate 100% accurate any of russian masterpiece :D
If this was in english it wouldnt sound as good. Look at Rammstein when they put that song to english, lost something. Slot did their song "2 Wars" in English; doesnt sound as cool as the russian version. I love Slot even though I cant understand them. Music is universal.
Oh so that's what they're saying. I guess this song is about unrequited love. She doesn't seem to convince him in the end, unfortunately. Aww, look at her face when he walks away.
An English version would be interesting but I can't imagine her screaming "Emptiness!" in English.
This is my favorite song, incredible. Such impact, plus she gets to knock some hoods. I keep thinking the word responsiblity during this song. I keep thinking of nwo, mayan prophecies, ets, pleiadians, and mankind.

English is such a dry language. It takes away all meaning to this song. It's meant to be in Russian and not translated.

@frichikendz okay dude, but at least we ppl that dont know Russian, know what the song is about and can appreciate it better

Some songs are just better left alone.

Poslushai ostanovis, poka ne pozdno = Hear me: stop before it is too late. Ya padayu v niz za toboi = I am falling down following you ...
domlinza 2 years ago
Domlinza, the root word for "hear" is слышать, whereas the root for "listen" is Слушать.
This is why the first word of the song "poslushai" (using your spelling) is "Listen" not "hear me".

@pitbulllover74 Yeah, I agree about "2 Wars": it was made for the Russian language, and it will never be the same in English.
