SEGA's System 16 arcade version of Altered Beast looked so much better than the watered down Genesis version. Yet everyone thought the Genesis version looked almost as good as the arcade. The difference is pretty damn clear.

No way, The Genesis version was way better because it wasn't as fucking cheap.
The arcade is meant to rape your ass, and it does in the later levels.
The Genesis atleast gave a fair balance.

Definitely the best version of the game.
Although the game play was a little sluggish, this game had top notch music, audio and graphics for it's time...

This is the original System16 ARCADE version,
not the downgraded Megadrive-Genesis version.

Its suposed to be rise from your grave aye, but on sega mega it sounds really garbled so wise fwom you wave or something similar :p
