@lDailySmokerl IRO (Iron Rock Offroad) and Zone Offroad have pretty well reviewed 4" lift kits for around $700. You can upgrade to the IRO 4" long arm kit for like $1400. Worth it in my opinion. The locker is around $275. I have the Aussie locker in mine, but they aren't made for the Dana 44a anymore, so you have to go with Spartan locker if you have the 44a rear axle. If you have a V8, you will have the 44a rear axle.
@jrxjjeep Thanks. My WJ has the 242 transfer case, so its the selectable 4x4 not the AWD 247 transfer case. But yea, it does pretty good with a locker and a decent line.
@escape4wd so it the selec trac.not all wheel drive.cool bro.i had a 97.it was bad stock.I LIVE I RIDE I AM jeep bro.but i love my XJ.only in a jeep bro.
@CountryBoy1571 And MTs would make me look like a real off roader? Please. They were decent ATs until they had 40k miles on them. And MTs aren't the best when you got to drive 98% road/highway. Thanks for the insight though...
"american acent"i feel like i need to powerbrake to get this back end around. Hahaha golden... Nice lil trick mate we call it a stoppy or a stand still here.. Like ya wj its not to bad but the color chooce is a lil off should of got a black one.. Oh nd u should of got a limited instead of a lerado
@WJguy420 I'm running a 2.5" BB with the factory UpCountry springs. It's probably only a tad higher than 2" now with the bumpers on there. But yea, I'm in the process of saving for more lift and better tires right now.
@escape4wd nice, i got mine on 2" springs from BDS running 32s... they rub a little at full flex, i havent been able to disco my sway bar yet due to my POS Rezeppa-Rezeppa shaft. probably just gonna get a ZJ driveline and yokes.
@buck1905 The mode the transfer case was in essentially acts like an open differential. So both driveshafts can spin at different speeds. Its the same concept if you lift one wheel off the ground on an open differential axle and the one wheel in the air just spins and spins while the wheel on the ground does nothing.
at 1:03 when the camera man walked around to the other side, i seen your tire was the other way and at first watch I thought maybe you had busted something. I didnt see til I watched it again that you had turned your tires lol
some tires would do you alot of good but good vid mam

@lDailySmokerl Something in the differential that puts 100% of the engines power to both wheels. Makes a world of difference in traction.

@WJDave They are from Kennasaw Mountain Accessories. They are a small outfit right around Atlanta, GA.

is that grinding noise because of your different gear ratios?
drwolcot 1 year ago
@drwolcot No, may be the transfer case not want wanting to go into gear. I will get stuck sometimes in between modes.
escape4wd 1 year ago
@escape4wd make sure all your tires have the same air pressure and you should be fine... my wj did it before to =[
