Actually, Stoops has taken initiative since the end of 2007 to start recruiting as many blue chips in Oklahoma as possible, then look at other states if there are positions needed to be filled. I myself think that is a great idea, because People playing for their home state will be more willing to play hard to win than ones who are just their for the scholarship. Texas had a good team last year. But McCoy had to get tougher for you guys to be that good. That guy is so injury proned, it's sad.

It's still the best rivalry in college football, not even Mich/Ohio St. has the uniqueness. Most OU fans including myself thought Texas couldn't beat us w/out Vince Young, but give em credit for handling their business last year. We didn't deserve to win. This year however, I could easily see OU making a big statement in the Red River Shootout and going straight to the top, but 08' will really be our big year.
