  • Max shit himself and ran away

  • When you put it in an aluminum frame are you swapping a cr500 engine into a 250r chassis?

  • hey max!

  • tell max i said hi

  • i have that same kind of bike but mine is all flat black and i ALWAYS rev my engine when i start them cold it is best for big 2 strokes, not you little kx65's

  • @fnsawgun

Yeah, rev 'er hard. No worries on a cold seize. It's like yanking you out of bed and making you do sprints instantly, except you'll whine instead of seize. But 2 minutes of bike revving then a parade around it lost me as I was trying to see how to start one cold. A 30 second vid would made me yawn less.

  • @ArmPump i said big bikes not 250s but i gess in your world it all applies for the all 2 strokes. the only 2 stroke engine i have ever sized was a yz125 from getting it too low in a mud bog and sucked up dirt/mud

  • mission failed!!!

  • I no longer have the old school cr 500 I now ride the cr 500 aluminum frames that I build

  • The smoke is awesome! I'd love to kneel down behind it and inhale the exhaust he spits out!!!;)

  • Great looking bike!

  • DAMN! i love that bike... where i live, this bike must be PERFECT! (only sand streets :D)

how tall are you? when i see that bike i think i cant ride it, im 1,75/1,80 m

and scuse my bad english, im from argentina xD

  • pokrec go bardziej na zimnym amerykanski idioto

  • Looks and sounds awesome, well done!

  • why does everyone insist on dogging out their two-strokes when theyre cold?

  • FU,,,,,n ankle breakers, kick starting these machines, no fun

  • its as if everyone ignores everyone else' s mighty wisdom comments on cold starts, and feel the need to once more, comment on a cold start. Almost like they feel nobody reads anyone else' s comments, but there's... duly note, the massive cold start echo everyone.

  • THAT BIKE IS FUKING AMAZING

  • gotta love the floppy mud guard :D

  • Where did you find those swingarm stickers?

  • shouldn't rev it like that if it's a cold start like you say. Nice bike though

  • @futureunknown Yea it's a bit scary how many people beat up on cold motors and/or dry rev a motor to redline lol... I guess we were all dumb enough to do it before someone told us or we figured it out though, right? Haha my first bike, I used to jump on it and ride it like I stole it while it was still too cold to idle right. The poor bike lol.

  • It's not a cold start.. because why was there already smoke inside the pipe? You started it for a second, shut it off, then restarted it with video camera on!!! I know all the cold start tricks when a video camera is around!

  • nice bike man!

  • Nice bike, hey I just bought an 86 CR500, it ROCKS!!! Can I put that engine into my 03 CRF450R frame? Thanks..........Paul

  • i would laugh if you just plowed in to that stuff on your wall! haha

  • beast.

  • THOSE BIKES ARE REALLY HARD TO START

  • Max runs away! haha! he knows wuts coming. A few of my buddies have owned 500"s, sooooo much fun in the dunes. There trick to first kick cold starts is putting the bike in 2nd or 3rd and rocking it back and forth about five times, this must get the right amount of gas in the carb. then first kick in nuetral. happy riding

  • Damn you..you just took 2 yrs off that doggies life

  • Had the same one.Great bikes. they are.I had mine all tricked out I could not let it idle or it would stall out and foul the plug. I kept it at 18:1 with the mixture.

  • siic awesome bike man

  • nice bike :), wish i hadnt sold mine now! getting rearer by the minuit. but was to much of a beast for me :(

  • Nice bike man. but why didn't u let MAX kick it? it would have gone for first one

  • Probably one of the nicest all around bikes ever made. Yours is a prime example.

  • Nice bike man. I could imagine riding that. So much fun. I'll probably eat shit. I ride a 01 RM 250. She is a beast. Thats enough bike for me. Safe riding!

  • Thanks bro , I now rude 500AF that I build, more fun. Hey do you live in California ? If you do, where do you ride?

  • Dam i could imagine. Yes i do. I stay in southern california in Los Angeles right by dodger stadium.

Well there isnt very many places here in L.A because it is all city, But I normally go out to Starwest MX, Milestone and Paris race way in Riverside County. And for trail riding I go to Gorman "Hungry Valley". How long have you been riding?

  • I always go to gorman, I live in Burbank hit me up if you wana ride. Mr500af@yahoo

  • @voznee FOR SURE DUDE.

  • @fordkiller12

if u come 2 norcal, check out hollister, and carnegie

  • @fordkiller12 nice bike man.i have a cr 125 about to get a 250.ive ridden my dads 1996 cr 500,so much power.do yo ever ride at carnegie?

  • @fordkiller12

I also live next to dodger stadium, and I buy & sell banshees/CR's alll day, right now I have a cherry 03 cr250 for sale. small world...

I go to gorman, asuza, cleghorn, pismo...

  • very nice , from spain XDD

  • dude thats not even cold when your priming it i can see exhaust puff outta the silencer

  • Thanks, but now I moved up to AFc 500s that I build, you think it's a blast riding a 500, try it in a AF... It's crazy fun , in the past year, I have had over 7 500s that I have restored and sold or converted to the Af and I'm just building another for me to ride, enjoy , then sell again lol, it's my hobby and it's a lot of fun at the same time.

  • Nize bike voz...long live these 2 stroke monsters.

  • I really have to ride one of them in my life!

  • voznees got it lol no point yelling at eachother go ride!!!

  • really

  • Yet another video of someone reving there bike to high on a cold start. you are spose to keep the RPM's down until you warm it up to op temp.

  • aha u really need to shut the fuck up

he has the choke on reving it wont hurt it

you fucking dumb cunt stop crying about everything Get ur shit straight once again.

  • Or perhaps you need to go figure out why you dont rev a cold engine and what a choke actually does. You are a fucking idiot trying to talk shit to someone that actually knows whats up. Having the choke on does not mean your piston has expanded as if the engine were at operating temp. The piston sits rather loose in the bore on a cold start and is made that way because it expands with the heat. If they didnt do that it would seize up. Reving the shit out of a cold 2 stroke will crack the piston.

  • Now with that said...you are the one that needs to shut the fuck up and actually learn how things work before you open your mouth. Reving a cold engine to high RPM's is never a good idea even with a car. All a choke valve does is block air flow there for making the engine run alot richer.

  • Guys,Guys,Guys....relax, its just a bike and its my bike, so if the motor blows it blows...I have 2 other 500s and afc 500, and NEVEEEEER had a problem and i do all reapai work myself and to put in a new top end only runs me $150 total!!! Bottom line is, its my bike, I will do as i want and as long as you are not paying for repair then you have no reason to make stupid remarks.....with that said, lets ride!!!

  • Agreed! Sorry about that.

  • @voznee i really want a 500 but i never even rode one the biggest bike i have owned was the 250 two strokes i had a YZ a CR and a RM but i like the CR the best they are just hard to find around where i live .....at lease one that doesnt need one of everything replaced.i know my 250 is a beast but i have gotten used to it and want to try a 500 if i can find one....just dont know what to expect from a 500

  • I like Max :)

  • big mean machine!

    nice love it!

  • jiggyboy69- like a said before a cold motor is a cold motor no matter 500 or 50cc METAL EXPANDS WITH HEAT. I'm talking about warming it up not riding it.

  • look at 2:01, he doesn't find the accelerator haha

  • For someone who just posts commercials of bikes on their page , you must have a lot of time on your hand... LOL . Now shut the fuck up and show us what you ride...if you can ride that is LOL.

  • i ride a honda mt5 of 1989 with a 70cc, Carbu 28, modified exaust and malossi air filter. a LOT less powerfull than your CR500 but i know where the accelerator is!

chill out man, it was just funny not insulting.

  • he didnt miss the THROTTLE

  • wow thats hilarious huh dumbass

  • How long do strokes typically last?

  • wow thats a big bike

  • i bet your neighbours love you LOL

  • nice job stressing out a cold motor. learn some common sense

  • First of all, since its my bike i will do as i please, second...its a 2 stroke and there is no oil pump that has to deliver oil to the top end for lube and it doesnt have valves for me to worry about, and last but not least...im not stressing it by reving it, there is no stress on the motor as i am not climbing a hill to put stress on the motor. By the way, a 500 motor takes a lot of beating and keeps on ticking. now go to your room, you are grounded LOL.

  • thats a wicked bike bro

  • ide have to agree with you. The parts and especially the piston need a minute to expand.

  • i have a cr500....i am currently on a mission to make that engine..."stress" as of yet unsuccessful.

  • @jackhole416 you have to warm it up learn some common sence fag...

  • @TRISTANMIDGLEY7 Sence huh? What's that? A hybrid between science and sense? Lol you douche bag...and you called him a fag, wow.

  • nice bike, I can tell you have been rideing for a wile, how long?

  • Just got back into it a year ago, and got my friends into it also and now we ride twice a week if not more. Lots of fun.

  • hay...cool bike,ive got a 1999 CR500 and every time i start it...i crack a sweet starting it..lol,im 70kg...bike is in perfect running order.

  • If the jetting on the bike is correct ( the slow jet ) not the main, it will start right away. It all depends on the temp. and alttitude....The hotter it is outside the smaller the jet size...my bike starts right up everytime...when its warmed up starts 1 kick. Just make sure you have the jetting correct and make sure the plugs are not foweled.

  • when you hear about people bitching these bikes are hard to start they never owned one...i have an old 480 but i can get it to start under 5 kicks 95% of the time. if its cold it can be harder. gota prime it with a few kicks and i get it first or second. hot first always.

  • thats soooo nice bro

  • it is in beautyfull condition, but I am sure that your cr500 engine dont like you:))

  • How much you got ?

  • Forget the bike let me see my favorite dog. Damn that is an Awesome Shepard you got there. Some day I have one too.

  • Cold start=10000rpm áááááááááá :(
