I went to Australia once. It rained non-stop and flooded my hotel. I went swimming and was almost eaten alive by a great white shark. Everytime I went to go to the toilet a giant spider leapt out at me. All the men are closet transvestites & all the women are lesbian. They are the most xenophobic people on Earth and all they eat is meat. Their treatment of the Aboriginals is so sad and all they talk about is sport. They are all drunkards & they swear constantly. I am never going back.
I lived in Brisbane for 4.5 yrs from Dec '02. Twas humid, mostly overcast & rarely rained. Had Black-Outs, Brown-Outs, clogged roads & useless incompetent corrupt Labor Govt. Returned to Perth (ave 8 hrs sun year round) to true Sunshine City (instead of marketing hype). Brisbane people really should get out more. Our beaches (some of the best in the world) are mins away: We don't travel an hour (Nth: Bribie/ South: GC) & our blue river, is wide (not narrow) & has LOTS OF PUBLIC FREE ACCESS...

One of my fav places is a pub called The Breakfast Creek Hotel, it has some lovely steak and nice beer from wooden kegs, I'm not a drinker but I did enjoy the beer there.
I used to be in a line of work which would send me to Brisbane, it was always more relaxed than Sydney, much less push and shove.
