  • Finnaly,I found what I was looikng for in this video.... Just pure study of huey flight, without any rubbish music... Good job!!!! THANNNNNNNNK YOU!!!! :)

  • Probably one of the most iconic sounds of the 20th century.

  • the paint ruins this beautiful model

  • @asia1mage your video is so cool i have allway wanted to see how they do it from the inside

  • this video is so benign and a-political... what in the world is their to dislike?!

  • Play this video and CCR's Fortunate Son at the same time. EPIC.

  • if u want to buy one for u. u could go on google and type bell huey uh-1 for sale and it gives u a whole list if u click on the right one it gives u a list and they cost 200 000$ and others also 700 000 $ but i think its always worth it to buy a huey

  • Your country sucks kim jongs cock

  • from the inside it sounds like a drunk guy punching a wall like 30 times in a row lmao. such a legend :)

  • Hey! That's my country!

  • Their flying the thing that use to kill their people:-D

  • @MikeWooden1 Ride of the valkeries!

  • @MikeWooden1 maybe in Bad Company 2: Vietnam....

  • I flew in a Huey last summer, unfortunately the pilot died 10 days later. He crashed with his Huey into a hill in Austria. He was doing construction work at he time he crashed. This was my first helicopter ride ever, and i will never forget the pilot and the Huey. This is the crash site of the Huey: youtube.com/watch?v=3Z3IXW4MAoE

  • 9 people are VC/NVA

  • @scoodlers Haha true :)

  • I guess some people dont understand how to balance the damn blades.. it shouldnt be shaking so badly. Not normal, only out of the USA though haha.

  • 7:00 NOTHING sounds like a Huey... other than another Huey!

  • i want to fly blackhawks for the army

  • how much it's? where can i get it?

  • Great helicopter!

  • man I can't wait to fly one of those things!

  • It would be interesting to know just how much effect the stablizer bar is having on those large blades. It looks insignificant by comparison.

  • wow..........i wish i'd had some of his toys........sure brings back the old h-girl in my head

  • We called it the sound of rescue! I have been sitting on Hueys for many hours until Hueys got retired and I left the Federal Police in Germany. Miss it! If I were a wealthy aviator, I'd buy one, just because I'm nostalgic ;-)

Great Heli, relatively easy to fly (compared to others), but the over torque risk is apparent.

  • Pardon my ignorance. But what's "over torque"? Do you mean the engine torque can actually break something in the drivetrain?

  • Yes, the transmission can be damaged by excessive torque. It's not just the engine twisting one way on the drivetrain at one end, it's the resistance of a heavily loaded rotor twisting in the opposite direction on the other end. High power setting + high collective setting = overtorque.

  • @twozero did you fly them ?

  • Great Vid :)

  • Holy crap. There is SO much cabin vibration!

  • gta's choppers are faster to take off (games are bullshit)

  • What country is this from??

  • if you pull the throttle in idle the most probable thing is that you wont take off ja ja ja ja

  • Muy buen video!!!

    Gracias por compartirlo

  • iv rode in one of these 3 times at the dayton airshow....what a blast

  • Used to jump out of the UH-1H Huey when I was with SPT 5th/19th SFG (A). What a blast!!

    Nice Video!!

  • i wish i could pilot a huey...where do i get a pilot license and how much does it cost?

  • United States Air Force and costs a few years of your time...

  • that not true you could buy a huey from the intenet and just go to regular flight school like i did now i am in the process of buying one and i am going to use it for crop dusting since i like them so much but i am going to get a vietnam era one

  • Perhaps you should finish elementary school first...

  • wow so angry all i was explaining is that you don't need to do it that way anybody can get a huey if you got the money even some you have to restore and as i said if this about saying you can buy one off the internet check you relly can and for anybody who reading check your flight school they can teach you so calm down just trying to help the people with easy ways so they can enjoy flying as i and everybody esle does too

  • Comment removed

  • sorry went over so had to do two well be just for people in the militery but it not true if they have the money and know a person who can fly one then they can have one like hell if you know were to look anybody can buy anything hell you can buy a fighter jet if people wanted to if they were a collector like if you look at my myspace you see i am selling a tank type in daniel ott so sorry for you to live in a narrow world but open your eyes and just be happy for the people who wants to enjoythem

  • good luck in your quest, I flew huey's in the army many moons ago. I would love to try my hand again at one. They are not cheap to maintain or to fly. I would suggest you go with a sweitzer. easier on the pocket book.

  • well that why one reason i like to invest in things for some extra money for things like this but i still think they are the best they way they fly look everything and hell if you live in california i visite you and let you fly it since as soon as i get one i am taking it for a long fly

  • Just search for "helicopter flight schools" online... You'll find some. The cost is the biggest barrier. It's around $10,000 to get a Private Pilot Certificate in helicopters, and you'll be flying Robinson R22s or Schweizer 300s, not Hueys. All Hueys flying are restored classics, owned by a few dedicated and wealthy aviators. If you're an experienced heli pilot, you might get to fly one someday, though. Start small and work your way up!

  • @singleproppilot Quite a few Huey variants are in service these days... e.g., 212's and 214's (UH-1 derivatives) are quite common as conerstones of many modern fleets. Our operator has a dozen of them, compared to only 6 each of MD-500 and AS-350.

  • Damn that thing looks shakey. I hope I get to ride in one of these when I join the ROC army.

  • america and russia have made some amasing helicopters crazy to think the huey is still being used

  • Less cost to operate.

  • You could shoot that huey full of holes and it would still fly!

  • FR, VFR, and GPS nice upgrade to the avionics!

UH-1s are the best helicopters ever.

  • why do u say the left side.....

  • Its the side we long line from....

  • Don't you just love the way pilots put on a show when a camera's pointed at them...

  • Real men fly the Huey from the left hand seat...

  • Molt bé ! Això si que és una eina !!!

  • IFR, VFR, and GPS nice upgrade to the avionics!

  • wow cool video suprise I missed this one very very cool thanx

  • Any Huey spooling up has got to get 5 stars!

  • UH-1s are the best helicopters ever.

  • WOW THIS IS GREAT! i have always wanted to see what goes on in the cockpit!

  • Don't they get deaf?

  • All on board are required to wear GOOD ear protection.

  • GOOD

  • know what you mean, i wore my headset with the earplugs, just right

  • ah sod that, i want to hear the rotors

  • Crewed a Huey for seven years in the Army and I lost 10% of my hearing while adjusting the overspeed governor. Still had the best times of my life!

  • BTW. If the ring don't get it.....the nose will sure.

Nice ta see old Slicks getting war paint dressed; as women.

  • Fancy Painted Slick

    LMAO
