@Blooperization It's not a virus - it's a bacterium. I don't know of any cases without symptoms but I'm almost certain that it is possible.

haha I'm shure you have it now:) We all have. It's a part of our digestive system. Diseases caused by E. Coli are extremly rare. If you had it in your Urinal System that could cause some problems. Maybe in your stomach you had some Helicobacter bacteria (for example Pelori)?

Yes, E.coli is present in all human digestive tracks, and is necessary for digestion, but there are multiple pathogenic strains. There were 49 cases of 0157:H7 in 2008 in the U.S. alone.
