my ics l85 came with a metal flashider with a strip of orange at the end of it, not the whole thing. I was also able to mount my holographic sight onto the rail

@ASTKilo23 Daniel Defense do a rail system for the L85 but unfortunately it was only made to fit on the G&G and Army models, however you can get an adaptor for the ICS L85, its availible in the UK, but in the US i am not sure but it porbably is

Yes. Madbull make a Daniel Defence RIS for them but you'll need a adapter to make it fit the ICS/Ares versions right.

That Bolt Release catch would confuse the hell out of me. On the real rifle that is the Holding Open Catch and the BRC is on the other side (it's the square, black button). I'd be constantly getting that wrong.

@ASTKilo23 if budget is your problem, which is mys too , you should considered boneyard items. I consider myself competent which internals and had a CA p90 with only a stripped piston. The main reason is that you will probably save a lot of money because you are going to replace most if not a all the internals anyways.Awesome internals reviews ,and great guides. keep up the amazing work!

awesome weapon, being British as soon as i see it i get a huge boner, the real steel version has had its hiccups over the years but its a great weapon to use in the field, and the bullpup design means its great for CQB because the barrel doesnt have to be long

@dayl3 The round is the same as the 5.56mm round we use in our m16's, m4's, and our Saw. im not sure if the grain is diffrent, but the 5.56 round isnt very strong i mean it is but its not if it makes sence. My best friend is a marine and hes told me some crazy shit about his buddy puting 5 rounds into a guy and him run it off like it was nothing. But the British got a great weapon the L85A1 had a lot of jaming problems but as far as i know the A2 is doing alot better for em

@dayl3 not the rifles fault, the 5.56 nato round is a good round, but the people they are fighting against are skinny afghan men and kids, so the round is just penetrating straight through them, but the M.O.D has bought a shipment of a new type of 5.56 with longer bullets so it will travel further and have more damage, the MOD are also supplying front line troops with the L129A1 rifle which is more effective but the british government are always making cuts so they havent got many
