Well because the Myanmar Lethwei style is very agile and very wierd and radical compared to Muay Thai.

Lethwei was used by the Burmese. You should read about it. It's muay thai in 'concept' but as you can see its very radical. Look how he lunges towards the muay thai fighter (in blue).

i don't believe one bit that Lethwei is better. sure, Burmese may have one against Thais but when it gets down to it, Muay Thai is more structured, stronger, and faster. i have yet to see a video of Lethwei where they throw a proper punch. they wind up their kicks and send you an e-mail to let you know they're coming before they hit you. they don't even focus on vital points to hit on the body. they just swing. i think it's a great art but when truly compared to Muay Thai, it's weaker.

He also doesn't take purposeful dives. It would be nice in real life if you could do that, but you can't. I guess size now adays depends on the available nutrition as well as genetics, in general we're not fat people. I haven't seen too many fat khmers or thais. As for hieght I've told being an even six foot tall khmer is fairly tall for just a being a guy.
