Obama took off to Hawaii for a vacation today But Doesn't Offer Real Energy Solutions That Will Help Americans: Obama Will Be Relaxing While Hawaiians Pay Over $4.46 For A Gallon Of Gasoline. Neil Abercrombie (D-HI )Supports Offshore Drilling. The House has Republicans & Democrats who want more drilling to relieve gas prices, but Obama Continues To Say No To Offshore Drilling & To Energy Solutions That Provide Relief & Help Americans... Obama's Energy Wipeout.
Today, 7/13/08, Obama Said That He Would Not Abandon The Field In Iraq And Would Leave A Residual Force There To Fight Al Qaeda And Train Iraqi Forces. Obama: "I have never talked about leaving the field entirely." BALONEY!!! Today, Obama's National Co-Chair Also Said Obama's 16-Month Withdrawal Plan Was, "Just A Goal." FLASHBACK: Obama Committed To Having Troops Out In 16 Months. Obama can NOT be trusted PERIOD.
Obama's Economic Policies & Rhetoric Consist Of Saying One Thing And Doing Another. Obama Pledged Not To Raise Taxes, But Voted Twice In Favor Of The Democrats' FY 2009 Budget, Which Would Raise Tax Rates For Americans Earning $31,850 Or More: (S. Con. Res. 70, CQ Vote #85, Adopted 51-44: R 2-43; D 47-1; I 2-0, 3/14/08, Obama Voted Yea; S. Con. Res. 70, CQ Vote #142: Adopted 48- 45: R 2- 44; D 44- 1; I 2-0, 6/4/08, Obama Voted Yea).
Obama's Economic Policies & Rhetoric Consist Of Saying One Thing And Doing Another. Obama Pledged Not To Raise Taxes. Tax rates would increase for ALL brackets. The 25% bracket begins at $31,850 for individuals & $63,700 for married couples. The 35% bracket on incomes over $349,700 would jump to 39.6%.
Obama Voted 94 Times For Higher Taxes In The U.S. Senate, Voted For A Tax Increase Once Every Five Days Congress Has Been In Session & Supported Hundreds Of Tax Increases In The State Senate.
Hillary Clinton: "Obama promises to withdraw from Iraq within 16 months. His top foreign policy adviser also said he's not really going to rely on that plan. That plan is just words, too. We need a president who will solve problems. Who will fight for our families long after the speeches are over and the cameras are gone. That's the choice in this campaign: Solutions you can rely on - versus words you can't."
McCain graduated from the United States Naval Academy and became a naval aviator. McCain retired from the US Navy in 1981 and was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1982. After serving two terms, he was elected to the U.S. Senate in 1986, winning re-election in 1992, 1998, and 2004. God Bless John McCain for President and Commander in Chief.
Barack Hussein Obama elected in 2004. Has anyone ever served as President with less experience as a senator or member of the house. I think he has had 144 days of time with the Senate in session.
Hillary Clinton: "I think that there is a certain phenomenon associated with Obama's candidacy. It is very much about him and his personality and his presentation. That dangerously oversimplifies the complexity of the problems we face, the challenge of navigating our country through some difficult, uncharted waters. We are a nation at war. That seems to be forgotten."
Nuclear power is critical to America's energy security. Nuclear power is a proven, zero-emission energy source that's being used in countries across Europe & Asia, yet the United States hasn't begun construction on a new nuclear power plant in over 30 years. McCain recognizes that we must better understand the role speculators are playing in the high cost of energy. By finding abusers of the system & punishing them immediately, he will ensure a near-crisis will not happen.
McCain knows America needs to reform its energy portfolio to include both new & proven sources of energy. He supports harnessing solar, wind & clean coal as well as expanding the use of nuclear power. Further still, McCain has called for carefully lifting the federal ban on drilling on the Outer Continental Shelf with care for environmental concerns.
They Said It! Obama Senior Domestic Policy Adviser Neera Tanden On Obama's Health Care And Housing Plans: Tanden: "By choosing to forgo a mandate, it's not universal. It will leave 15 million Americans uninsured. Even with a subsidy, millions of Americans will not get health insurance." Tanden: "Obama announced a series of broad, vague principles, while offering no new concrete solutions to provide Americans with greater confidence in the market or keep them in their homes."
Obama, in his first national TV ad rolled out Friday, claims credit for having "extended health care for wounded troops," citing the 2008 defense authorization. That bill passed 91-3 - but Obama didn't show up to vote. This brazen claim underscores Obama's thin resume and, again, his chutzpah.
bullshitguy is doing what idiots who support Obama do when they have nothing to back up their lies, other than blow bullshit out of their ass. Blow HARD, bullshitguy, if you can, and hit Obama's windshield, loser.
As Obama Campaigns In Las Vegas, Will He Address His & His Supporters Questionable Housing Deals? Obama's Longtime Associate, Tony Rezko, Pops Up Again On Campaign Trail: A Las Vegas Judge Also Issued A Felony Arrest Warrant For Antoin "Tony" Rezko For Failing To Pay Multiple Gambling Debts. Rezko is also wanted in Las Vegas for failing to pay gambling debts & related processing fees to the Clark County district attorney's office.
Obama: "I've got a very personal relationship with Alexi Giannoulias." In 2006, Giannoulias Was Elected Treasurer Of The State Of Illinois. At the age of 30, Alexi Giannoulias became the youngest State Treasurer in the nation when he was elected to office on November 7, 2006. NOTE: Nevada Led The Nation In Foreclosures In May, 2008, And Has Led The Nation For 17 Straight Months.
They Said It!: Obama Says To Female Clinton Supporters, "Get Over It," And Lied About Public Financing, Breaking His Promise To Everyone. Diane Watson (D-CA) To Obama: "Don't Use That Terminology." Diane Watson, a longtime Clinton supporter, just to name one, didn't like Obama's words - 'Get over it.' She found them dismissive, off-putting. 'Don't use that terminology,' Watson told Obama." (6/20/08)
Hillary Clinton: "Obama said he would take public financing & now he's saying he won't. Actions speak louder than words. No matter how beautiful the words are & how well presented, you've got to get beyond the words. Now we're seeing how the words don't even mean what we thought they meant. I think it raises some serious questions about what it is he stands for."
Howard Wolfson: "Obama does not have a long record in public life. He is asking voters to judge him on his rhetoric & promises. He pledged to take public financing. He's going back on that pledge, he's broken that pledge. And he has a history & pattern of saying one thing & doing another."
In 11/07, Obama answered "yes" when asked: "If you're nominated for president in 2008 & your major opponents agree to forgo private funding in the general election campaign, will you participate in the presidential public financing system?" Obama said, "Yes." He added: "I will aggressively pursue an agreement with the Republican nominee to preserve a publicly financed general election." The system he's opting out of is paid for by taxpayers when they file their tax returns.
Obama's rhetoric is as cheap as his promises. He blew his carefully honed image as a different kind of politician while undercutting his call for "a new kind of politics." Obama threw his "Change We Can Believe In" act overboard.
Ads sponsored by Obama's special interest groups are attacking McCain. Obama falsely claims he shutdown anti-McCain groups to justify abandoning his public financing pledge. Obama rolled out television ads in 18 states. He broke his promise to the American people & announced a $53 million campaign against McCain. Obama is too weak to tell special interest groups to stop their attacks & he covets their endorsements & attacks others like the coward and liar he is.
NOTE: Obama Has Made No Effort To Meet One-On-One With Gen. David Petraeus. NOTE: Obama Has Not Met With Troops Or Commanders On The Ground In Iraq In Over Two Years. It Has Been 893 Days Since Obama Visited Troops & Commanders In Iraq.
Obama Vs. Obama: In a Discussion With Iraq's Foreign Minister, Obama said he "Would Consult With Iraqi Leaders & U.S. Military Commanders On his Plans For Withdrawal," & said, "Whatever decision I would reach would be made through close consultation with the Iraqi government & U.S. military commanders in the field." FLASHBACK: "Regardless Of Advice I Receive From Commanders On The Ground, if I'm elected president, I set the mission & that's not the role of generals." 4/16/08
According to Bloomberg News, McCain is more hawkish than Bush on Iraq, Russia and China. Conservative columnist Pat Buchanan says McCain "will make Cheney look like Gandhi." Many of McCain's fellow Republican senators say he's too reckless to be commander in chief. One Republican senator said: "The thought of his being president sends a cold chill down my spine. He's erratic. He's hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me."
When Will Barack Obama Match His Rhetoric To His Record?
June, 2008: Obama *Says* He's Now In Favor Of Reducing Corporate Taxes After Criticizing John McCain's Tax Policies: Last Month, Obama Called Corporate Tax Cuts "The Exact Wrong Prescription For America."
When Will Barack Obama Match His Rhetoric To His Record?
OBAMA'S CONTRADICTORY POSITION ON ENERGY: Obama Criticizes The Energy Policy That He Voted For. Last Night, Obama Criticized How Special Interests Drive Energy Policy.(Obama, Remarks At Campaign Event, Detroit, MI, 6/16/08). But Obama Voted For The 2005 Energy Bill.
John McCain Voted Against The 2005 Energy Bill, Opposing The Legislation's Handouts To Big Business And Oil Companies.
Democrat Military Expert Vs. Obama On Visiting Iraq: Brookings Institution Military Expert & Former Kerry Adviser, Michael O'Hanlon, On Obama Visiting Iraq: "'I think it's a no-brainer,' says O'Hanlon, adding that Obama would be 'remiss' as a candidate if he didn't visit soon. O'Hanlon once was sharply critical of U.S. policy in Iraq, but after several post-surge visits he is hopeful of a good outcome."
Tuesday, June 17, 2008: Obama hasn't visited Iraq in 891 days.
Obama: "If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun." (Obama, Remarks At Fundraiser, Philadelphia, PA, 6/14/08)
FLASHBACK: Obama: "I chose to run because I believed that Americans of every political stripe were hungry for a new kind of politics that focused not just on how to win but why we should, a politics that focused on those values & ideals that we held in common as Americans." (Obama, Remarks At Campaign Event, Des Moines, Iowa, 12/27/07)
I won't go so far as to say that McCain is "against the troops" or any such nonsense, but I think it's crystal clear that taking care of veterans does not rank high on his priority list. At least, not when weighed against tax cuts for the wealthy, corporate interests, or other conservative ideological bugaboos
Vanity & egoism, is the deadliest of all characteristics.
vanity, combined with extreme ignorance of conditions, the knowledge of which is the very ABC of business and of life, produces more shipwrecks and heartaches than any other part of our mental make-up.
The nation is floundering. John McCain promises to keep America safe as it rots from the inside. But don't worry, John McCain's other priority is keeping the wealthy safe.
Blow it out your ass, bullsguy, and hit Obama's windshield. If you had the guts, you'd do it again. Go ahead and keep getting high with Obama Jr. but remember crack kills.
We have seen the sexism AND racism you have been up against, and you made this nation PROUD! Thank you. Join us in the VICTORY with John McCain!
There is nothing wrong with changing your mind if you were a democratic supporter who wants to support a republican now. That's what freedom is all about!!!
Obama suggests that Iran is trying to develop a nuclear program because the U.S. refuses to engage in presidential-level talks. The Clinton administration tried to engage Iran for two years, even lifting some sanctions, to no avail. "Even so, we hear Obama talk of a meeting with the Iranian leadership offered up as if it were some sudden inspiration, a bold new idea that somehow nobody has ever thought of before," McCain said.
"It's hard to see what such a summit with Iranian President Ahmadinejad would actually gain, except an earful of anti-Semitic rants, & a worldwide audience for a man who denies one Holocaust & talks before frenzied crowds about starting another," McCain said.
Obama is naive & inexperienced. McCain called for measures aimed at increasing pressure on Iran, such as limiting Iranian imports of gasoline, targeted sanctions such as denying visas & freezing assets & a worldwide campaign to divest from companies doing business with Iran. McCain called for financial sanctions on the Central Bank of Iran, which aids in terrorism & weapons proliferation. Iran's Revolutionary Guard is a terrorist organization responsible for killing U.S. troops in Iraq.
Sunday, June 01, 2008: Despite Obama's attempts to cut off funding & prematurely withdraw our forces, the surge has successfully put the terrorists in Iraq on the run, making the country a more stable & safe place. Of course, much work remains, which is precisely why we must continue to build on the gains made by our troops & the Iraqi government, & reject calls for premature withdrawal from the ill-informed. Obama hasn't even been to Iraq in 875 days.
Obama hasn't even been to Iraq in 875 days? Does he live in Iraq? What does McCain traveling to Iraq surrounded by armed troops accomplish? Once you've stopped kidding yourself, you'll realize the answer is nothing.
dud of course the surge stopped violence. if we put guns to every iraqi's head then their would be no violence. but it there progress? it's there ever progress when someone holds guns to your head? no. so no the surge didn't work
Sunday, June 01, 2008: Obama opposed the surge when it was proposed, neglected to witness it first-hand, & refuses to acknowledge the progress now. Obama once demanded a 'surge in honesty' in the debate about the Iraq war. A 'surge in honesty' would require Obama to acknowledge the courage & success of our troops in Iraq.
Obama also said, "The pastor & the Trinity United Church of Christ have been suffering from the attention my campaign has focused on them." BALONEY! Obama is suffering because voters found out HE'S a racist who does NOT denounce a church that says offensive things to ALL Americans like, "God damn America" & "We are an African people & remain true to our native land," & "the U.S.A. government created AIDS" & praises Louis Farrakhan.
Obama said, after campaign officials released a letter of resignation, May 30, 2008, to Trinity United Church of Christ, "I'm not denouncing the church & I'm not interested in people who want me to denounce the church."
McCain, a former Navy fighter pilot & a Vietnam POW, was also elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1982. McCain won the first of four terms in the Senate in 1986 as well. On March 4, 2008, he won the Republican presidential nomination. He has incredible courage, experience, strength of character & perseverance to this very day. That's exactly what we need in a president.
Democratic rivals of John McCain are making reckless promises they cannot keep by also pledging speedy U.S. troop withdrawals from Iraq. "I do not believe that anyone should make promises as a candidate for president that they cannot keep if elected," McCain said.
William Ayers, a member of the Weather Underground, embraced bombing government buildings & said he did NOT regret doing so and said that he would have liked to have bombed more. Ayers has radical ties to Obama. Obama became friends with Ayers & spent a lot of time with him. The guy's unrepentant over his activities as a member of the terrorist organization, the Weathermen. Obama's defense "borders on the outrageous," McCain said.
Barack Obama spent a fourth day on Monday, April 14, 2008, defending himself for calling people with economic blight, "bitter working class voters who cling to guns or religion," and also said, "Now it may be that I chose my words badly. It wasn't the first time and it won't be the last." Obama also did not reject plans to meet representatives of Hamas, a Palestinian militant group that the United States considers a terrorist organization.
On Monday, April 28, 2008, Wright criticized the U.S. government again as imperialist and stood by his suggestion that the United States invented the HIV virus as a means of genocide against minorities. Wright also called on God to "damn America." Wright ADMITTED that Obama's church congregation secretly agrees. This is offensive to ALL Americans and to ALL races. No Thanks, Obama.
Rev. Jeremiah Wright of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago officiated at Obama's wedding, baptized his two daughters and has been his pastor, friend & mentor for over 20 years. The title of Obama's second book came from a Wright sermon.
Okay, I know that not everyone who says "McAmnesty" supports Obama, but how would you like it if I said "Barack - The Cock", because it ryhmes and he isn't suited for fighting terorism? You probably wouldn't like it at all.
That's right, hayabusakun, and Barack Obama Jr. showed the world that he has no intelligent experience with foreign policy when he threatened to invade Pakistan, just to name one thing, and the presidency is not the place for on-the-job training either.
He contradicts himself too. If he really opposes war in general (like how he opposes the war in Iraq), why would he want to invade and cause another war?
Well said, hayabusakun. Obama Jr. does contradict himself & often. Obama's economic plan is lacking in a lot of specifics. To encourage a country with only rhetoric rather than sound and proven ideas that trust in the strength and courage of free people is not a promise of hope. It's a platitude.
Stop serving those FOREIGN blood-thirsty criminals in YOUR government who are sending YOUR sons & daughters to die for THEIR country.
Serve YOUR Great Country.
How can ANYBODY in his/her right frame of mind even contemplate voting for that grinning, clueless, idiotic psychopath Gen. Buck Turgidson????????????????
Vote for Dr Ron Paul for domestic prosperity and for global peace & stability
A vote for Paul or Huckster is a vote for MCCAIN! McCain and Huckabee are both FRAUDs -- they're LIBERALS! Anyone that votes for them should register as a DEMOCRAT! MITT ROMNEY FOR PRESIDENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
McAMNESTY -- you are a very skilled LIAR, but I know your RECORD and you will never get this conservative's vote!!! You are underhanded, don't play fair (Fl primary - Romney "timetables" -- which you KNOW he didn't say) -- you're what's wrong with DC politics. Plus, you're old, feeble, evil and MEAN. I don't want a trigger finger in the WH! MITT ROMNEY FOR PREIDENT!
John you going to protect us just like you protected your fellow soldiers in Vietnam when you TOLD them where they were flying so that the enemy could shoot down your so called brother?????
If that is how you are going to treat me, than no thank you!
He doesn't sound like the war hero he claims to be. My husband met a Colonel from the Air Force who worked for the top guy in Desert Storm. He says most officers in all armed forces DESPISE McCain because they know the real scoop -- he got special treatment, made PROPAGANDA ADS/ANNOUNCEMENTS while a POW. He's as bad as JOHN PHONY KERRY in the war hero dept. LIARS BOTH!
If you are thinking about voting for McCain and you don't know anything about PTSD, I urge you to consider doing your research. PTSD can only be managed--not cured. You do not want someone with PTSD in charge of the entire world. Besides, the man is in his seventies. Vote for anyone except McCain.
Amen to that -- McCain is DANGEROUS and I read he was diagnosed as CLINICALLY Psychotic. I don't know if this is true, but he does throw fits when he doesn't get his way, cusses at other pol's (not statesmanlike) and scares the hell out of me because he's a Napoleon little warmonger. He says we'll be in Iraq a long time, maybe a 100 yrs. HUH???
Yes. I'll bet if someone could get his VA/medical files they will find he is on a ton of drugs to help him with his PTSD. These people can snap anytime.
Florida supports John McCain! Gov. Crist (R-FL) U.S. Senator Martinez (R-FL) Tampa Tribune Orlando Sentinel Daytona Beach News-Journal Bradenton Herald Pensacola News-Journal Gainesville Sun The Palm Beach Post The Polk County Democrat Sun-Sentinel John McCain for President!
Yes, McCain is all about "protecting" America. And his "bipartisanship" with Ted Kennedy and the Democrats is a good thing for America.
And granting 12-20 million illegal immigrants immediate legal status is a great thing! And when you realize that this number will balloon to well over 100 million within 15 years (and this is just from Latin America alone), this really becomes a fabulous thing indeed!!!
Florida Newspapers Endorse John McCain! Tampa Tribune: "McCain Is Our Man" Orlando Sentinel: "The Arizona Senator Is Clearly The Most Qualified Of The Contenders" Daytona Beach News-Journal Bradenton Herald Pensacola News-Journal Gainesville Sun The Palm Beach Post The Polk County Democrat Sun-Sentinel John McCain for President!
McCain is another neocon scumbag who could never win in a fair election but unfortunately Diebold will ensure that the neocons stay in the white house.
Hey McCain if you wanted to protect my pocket book then why didn't you answer Ron Paul's question in the debate??? WE DONT WANT YOUR JINGOISM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've noticed whenever people want something done about Muslim extremists, they get a lot of bad feedback.
I, however, don't frown upon McCain's plans of handling Muslim extremists. He knows what he's doing - not only does he have lots of military experience, but he also knows the ugliness of war.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
John says he doesn't want to call a servic4e member and tell him/her that he is deporting his/her grandmother... How often would that happen and it's not like they can't go visit their grandma! I'll never vote for John McAmnesty! He should take Ron Paul and both deport themselves!
McCain is for amnesty, he doesn't call it amnesty, but that is exactly what it is... John would probably select Ted Kennedy as his running partner!! They both just love illegals!
Like someone told me the other day, I severly dislike illegal Immigrants (I got screwed out of alot of money because of a man that turned out to be illegal) but how are we going to get them all and ship them all back? It's nearly impossible and even if we could, it would costs us way too much money from the treasury to do it.
The best we can do is find them and turn them into official tax payers like everybody else.
Make it illegal to hire them! When they show up at the hospital for the healthcare that you pay for, treat them and then deport them!!!!!! It's very easy..... No more anchor babies, no more jobs and no more welfare... The dems need their votes... Americans do not need these leaches... I can't understand McCains libtard stance on the issue!
Protect? You *assaulted* the First Ammendment. Of all speech that should be protected, political speech is the most important. I mean, it's the *First one*! Why do you suppose that was?!
WOW!!...Mccain...the truth is...your a liaer and the truth is all on tapes...That SURGE you voted for is a joke...Show us how you can walk down the streets in Bagdad with out protection...Your what they call a GOHIM...You never helped anyone...besides your an ADULTRESS...Your kind is over with... go home where you can commit more sin...
Romney: Dodged the Vietnam War to serve on his "mission" for his Mormon faith while McCain was in a POW camp for five years...
Romney says that voters should not based their vote on someone's religion while over 90% of Mormon voters in the Nevada Caucus voted for him and other religions were spread among candidates...
NONE of Romney's five sons have served in the military...
VOTE FOR SOMEONE THAT PLACES HIS COUNTRY FIRST...MCCAIN!
So , he will continue something he didn't vote for, give us more of what he didn't want, and end the war of wasteful spending? Sounds good to me John!
you are a fucking warmonger who is going to bankrupt us with your gov. give aways to big corp. and your crony militarism.why don't you do one of two things go back to Vietnam and lock yourself back in the Hanoi Hilton or just go away.your kind are dangerous. so what is inflation? RON PAUL 08!
one thing this country belongs to the people who want PEACE,PROSPERITY AND FREEDOM!
America, your nation has been turned into a neurotic madhouse. Vote for McCain and you will have yet another president who will control you with fear and mistrust. Open your eyes! McCain is a phoney and a chest-beating cave-man. Give your vote to an intellectual - vote Ron Paul! (Please - the rest of the world is begging you to do so.)
He didn't vote for the tax cuts as proposed, because they didn't include commensurate *spending* cuts. Anyone calling themselves a conservative, who thinks the current out-of-control Congressional spending is acceptable, is either delusional, or an idiot. Take your pick.
McCain is the only R in the race, who understands that there is more to being Conservative, than just tax cuts.
Well, you know, I don't think these other chaps want to hear all that straight talk. "Don't spend what you don't have." "Stick at what needs to be done until its done." "They won't stop hating us if we give up." Etc. If McCain fails to get the nomination, it'll be because no one wants to hear it like it is. And he'll still be the better man for it.
we don't have the money watch a major depression is coming and what will our empire do then. it will be just a big elephant.how about our military empire 700 bases in 130 countries for what and he wants to be in iraq 100yrs. China is eating our economy alive because of our dollar crisis. see for yourself all the facts are there and mc cain does not have the answers he does have the ruin of the country.look for yourself don't believe the media.
oh really what about the keating 5? mc cain does not know anything about the economy.since when is war a conservative value. never was never will be. what about our empire we cannot afford. we are looking at another major depression.thats something he does not understand.
McCain is not against tax cuts. But he is against wasteful government spending and has been his whole political career. Show me another politician who hasn't gotten pork-barrel spending for their state. I am conservative. I know he is more moderate than me, but it's the right time for a McCain Presidency.
-Paul returns a portion of his pay to the U.S. treasury every year.
-Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress
-Paul has published 6 books on economic and fiscal monetary policy. They show what a genius and how fascinating he is. No other candidate comes close to Paul's expertise for fixing the terrible US economy, the falling dollar, and the massive debt
-John McCain once said Paul "is the most honest man in Washington"
why don't you go and find all the videos on u-tube of Reagen and Ron Paul talking in the same videos and what they say is identical. the war is bankrupting us.when we have no more money how do we pay for an army. so you think killing all those Muslims is going to settle the extremist down? mc vain knows nothing about the economy Dr. Paul has written a number of books with Nobel prize winners.
Reagan had some very libertarian views. With Ron Paul, you get the libertarian message of freedom and less government, but without the Reagan massive deficit spending. Even the Democratic congress always spent less than Reagan asked for.
Paul never voted for senate bill 1959,a bill that invades your privacy (only candidate not to 4 for it!) -never voted to raise taxes -never voted for an unbalanced budget -never voted for restriction on guns -never voted to raise gov't pay -never took a government-paid junket -never voted to increase power of the executive branch. -voted against the abominable "Patriot act" -voted against regulating the Internet -voted against the Iraq war from day 1 Paul always voted 4 the constitution
Today, The Republican Party of Louisiana announced that John McCain won the Louisiana Caucus. This important caucus, coming on the heels of South Carolina, is more evidence of the momentum behind John McCain. This victory is a huge defeat for other candidates who poured many resources into the state and failed to register amongst Republican voters. On to Florida!
For everyone that's retarded here...You can't run a war and cut taxes at the same time! Imagine how much farther in debt we would be, and how much weaker our dollar would be if we had cut taxes.
McCain actually wants to do good, and he has the experience++ to do so. Romney just says what you want to hear so you'll like him. Look at all of Romney's ads. All crap...All attacks against other candidates and no facts...
OK - anyone who is against mccain truly does not know waht they are talking about. McCain is a true American, yes, he voted against the tax cuts, but he had rationale behind doing so. You know, things that you people dont take time to listen to, because youre too busy being hypnotized by Mitt Moron Romney.
Not to mention, if anyone looks at the polls, there is only one, ONE, republican who tops BOTH Hilary and Obama. That man, is indeed, John McCain.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Doesn't anyone remember McCain being caught many times lying? Plus the fraudulent immigration bill he was desperately trying to pass? He's not interested in securing the border. He says what you want to hear, but he just has his own agenda. You will be electing another Bush if you vote for him. Don't be suckered again with words.. look at your candidates more closely.
his answer for the economic downfall of the united states is bombs away! He has no answers, be smart vote for someone who can turn this country around.
Romney's so full of crap. The only reason he won Michigan is because he told voters there exactly what they wanted to hear. McCain was honest (a rarity in today's politics) and he lost the state because of it. Don't buy into that slick salesman Romney.
he lost because he has no answers he said there are no jobs left and there not coming back, he is not going to do anything about it. romney has answers, he tells people how he is going to turn around this country. do research and dont just believe of what people tell you.
A fat lot you know about "research". You clearly haven't even seen any of the video in question. Either that, or you're just lying.
McCain said *some*, SOME, of the jobs in Michigan weren't coming back. Romney had no solution to that problem, because Romney chose to lie to the people of Michigan with the fairy-tale that those jobs would return.
McCain told the truth - that the real way forward is for the industry to adapt, to create *new* jobs, in emerging automotive technologies.
Just got back from seeing a McCain rally in Atlantic Beach, FL. There were a number of fellow Vietnam POWs there who all spoke on his behalf. Seeing men of such character standing up for McCain reminds me of why it is so important that we keep fighting for McCain. Remember that early voting is open in FL....just swing by the local library (it doesn't need to be your official voting site)
Senator and Presidential Candidate John McCain was born on August 29, 1936 in Panama at the Coco Solo Air Base in the then American-controlled Panama Canal Zone

A: "Feel good" president - Lots of flag waving & massive deficit spending!
B: Freedom, fiscal discipline, a REAL war strategy, & the guts to stand up to war profiteers.

So , he will continue something he didn't vote for, give us more of what he didn't want, and end the war of wasteful spending? Sounds good to me John!

McCain is a dirtbag. I'll **write Ron Paul in** if I have to--I am sick of this war and $3 gas.

Hey McCain,
is this war considered wasteful spending?

This is the same man that voted against the tax cuts.....TWICE!!!
gundyrage 4 years ago
Spending?
Hello?
Anyone?
He didn't vote for the tax cuts as proposed, because they didn't include commensurate *spending* cuts. Anyone calling themselves a conservative, who thinks the current out-of-control Congressional spending is acceptable, is either delusional, or an idiot. Take your pick.
McCain is the only R in the race, who understands that there is more to being Conservative, than just tax cuts.
boatrat 4 years ago 2
Well, you know, I don't think these other chaps want to hear all that straight talk. "Don't spend what you don't have." "Stick at what needs to be done until its done." "They won't stop hating us if we give up." Etc. If McCain fails to get the nomination, it'll be because no one wants to hear it like it is. And he'll still be the better man for it.

we don't have the money watch a major depression is coming and what will our empire do then. it will be just a big elephant.how about our military empire 700 bases in 130 countries for what and he wants to be in iraq 100yrs. China is eating our economy alive because of our dollar crisis. see for yourself all the facts are there and mc cain does not have the answers he does have the ruin of the country.look for yourself don't believe the media.
infundadiform 4 years ago
oh really what about the keating 5? mc cain does not know anything about the economy.since when is war a conservative value. never was never will be. what about our empire we cannot afford. we are looking at another major depression.thats something he does not understand.

TheStarFromAfar 4 years ago 3
Paul is not an issue anymore. McCain is the best at this point in time. We need a Reagan type President for the next few years.
merickinhawaii 4 years ago
why don't you go and find all the videos on u-tube of Reagen and Ron Paul talking in the same videos and what they say is identical. the war is bankrupting us.when we have no more money how do we pay for an army. so you think killing all those Muslims is going to settle the extremist down? mc vain knows nothing about the economy Dr. Paul has written a number of books with Nobel prize winners.
infundadiform 4 years ago
Reagan had some very libertarian views. With Ron Paul, you get the libertarian message of freedom and less government, but without the Reagan massive deficit spending. Even the Democratic congress always spent less than Reagan asked for.

All crap...All attacks against other candidates and no facts...
supraTTdriver 4 years ago 4
OK - anyone who is against mccain truly does not know waht they are talking about. McCain is a true American, yes, he voted against the tax cuts, but he had rationale behind doing so. You know, things that you people dont take time to listen to, because youre too busy being hypnotized by Mitt Moron Romney.
Not to mention, if anyone looks at the polls, there is only one, ONE, republican who tops BOTH Hilary and Obama. That man, is indeed, John McCain.

Doesn't anyone remember McCain being caught many times lying? Plus the fraudulent immigration bill he was desperately trying to pass? He's not interested in securing the border. He says what you want to hear, but he just has his own agenda. You will be electing another Bush if you vote for him. Don't be suckered again with words.. look at your candidates more closely.

vot for Gov. Mitt Romney
harry801 4 years ago
Romney's so full of crap. The only reason he won Michigan is because he told voters there exactly what they wanted to hear. McCain was honest (a rarity in today's politics) and he lost the state because of it. Don't buy into that slick salesman Romney.
Go McCain!
DustinReedy 4 years ago 4
he lost because he has no answers he said there are no jobs left and there not coming back, he is not going to do anything about it. romney has answers, he tells people how he is going to turn around this country. do research and dont just believe of what people tell you.
harry801 4 years ago
A fat lot you know about "research". You clearly haven't even seen any of the video in question. Either that, or you're just lying.
McCain said *some*, SOME, of the jobs in Michigan weren't coming back. Romney had no solution to that problem, because Romney chose to lie to the people of Michigan with the fairy-tale that those jobs would return.
McCain told the truth - that the real way forward is for the industry to adapt, to create *new* jobs, in emerging automotive technologies.

McCain should have said, "...make the Bush Tax cuts permanent even though I voted against them."
McCain is a wolf in sheeps clothing! He is no Republican!

Senator and Presidential Candidate John McCain was born on August 29, 1936 in Panama at the Coco Solo Air Base in the then American-controlled Panama Canal Zone
therefore is not born a US citizen

Best qualified to lead this country during a time of global instabilty!
Endorsed by conservative officials of the highest levels (Graham, Kissinger, Schwarzkopf, Orlando Sentinnel, etc)!
The only candidate with bipartisan experience to actually secure our borders.
Sound economic plan for reducing spending and cutting taxes.
The choice is clear...John McCain 2008!
