Hey I'm just wondering? Why would you swap nightster tank and fenders for iron 883 tank and fenders? They are the same aren't they? Only thing different is the pinstripe on the nightster! But I still love the bike though good job!

Done away with the turn signals entirely, huh. Nice bike!

But since you hardtailed it, I suggest you get a custom rear fender that hugs to the tire more closely. As it is now, the bobbed stock fender looks too flat and too wide.

Where did you relocate the ECU control box under the seat thats mounted to the rear fender to? Mine has plastic plate under the seat with the ECU mounted to it. If you take the plastic plate off there is a huge hole in the fender. Sick bike

I removed my oil tank cover like this guy. Now, whenever I get off the bike my right leg pops the oil cap.

Yeah mine does the same thing, its a bit frustrating at times. Sometimes it will get loose and oil pressure builds and I get a minor oil spill.

If you buy a light it should come with the bracket and hardware. If not, just go to Lowes or Home Depot and they have an aisle with thousands of nifty nuts and bolts and metal to fab your own. Also, save yourself time from removing the tree by using an angle drill to make your hole. Hope this helps.

I relocated it behind battery between battery and rear tire. Just zip tied it.

Yes they are 10" struts, although I may do a weld on Hardtail. I cut the fender up to where the hole was for the ECM. As for the battery no problems because of cover, my terminals were getting loose but used some threadlock and all is good. Good luck with your scoot and thanks!

I removed them, but Harley now has a speedo mount like the one I have but it allows you to keep the indicator lights. Abit expensive like 250.

I had the dealer swap them out, I laid the bike down. Insurance covered it and had them put the tank and fender.

So if you've seen my vid and noticed how low my fender was. well the weather was still cool when I did that. I've been riding a little to hard lately, high speed runs. Anyways my tires started to expand more and I'm now a victim of TIRE RUB. Unfortunately the paint bubbled up and it was as low as yours looks. I tlted the fender a bit to add a bit more height. Don't let it happen to you. I'm getting a new paint job soon.
