@DonSnakeEyez some of the songs in the movie are the actual recordings from the actual temps. but yeah they definitely did do their own versions of some of the songs. and i'm not positive but i'm pretty sure leon (the guy who plays david ruffin) actually sang because he is in a band in real life. but if not, then i don't know who sings in the movie's versions.
