the texting is almost impossible on that device if you try to use your fingers...i found myself having to use the stylus and even still its slow and slippery...plus its expensive...i took it back and got the htc hero which is cheaper and does more things and has a wider screen better for texting

I've had this phone for 4 months now, and I STRONGLY do not recommend you to buy this phone. Great feature list, beautiful resolution, BUT it is not a good phone. The phone is VERY buggy, VERY slow and laggy, and generally not very reliable. It's not finger friendly, so if you get it be prepared to use the stylus a lot if you don't want mistakes on your texts.

Bottom line: if you're picky and need your phone to work reliably, do not buy this phone.

I got one to replace my phone and antique ipaq. Overall I am very happy with it. Noah missed a few zooming tricks and didn't really show the 3D touchflo's full capability. The accelerometer does work but it is slow on websites with a lot of content (like the phonedog site). I love the GPS navigation. Some people may not like that you can't text or type in landscape but then there's always the touch-pro coming out soon. No SD slot is a bit of a drag but it does have 4 gig internal.

I would get the HTC Touch Diamond if Sprint hadn't ruined it. First off, they changed the back and made it ugly and red. I don't care if they made the battery stronger, I could just carry a spare battery and have the beautiful faceted black back. They also ruined the TouchFlo3D. It looks beautiful on the unlocked version but Sprint changed it. They put a bunch of neon colors and changed the look of the whole interface.

Sprint ruined the phone. :(
