Amen Brother...one of the most intelligent thing I have heard in a long time.
@rsoarch7 Isn't that something?? Todays mainstream so called "conservative" movement with voices such as Mark Levin, Hannity, etc......Will ignore or attack those who are real conservatives but oppose the war in the middle east. However they will sit there and prop up complete fucking Fascists such as Gulliani or Romney. Today being "conservative" means you must favor corporatism and any and all abuses that come with it; and you must be in favor of perpetual life long war. Fucking idiots
Excellent video. US foreign policy has been screwed up for decades, ever since Carnegie and Rockefeller Foundations infiltrated the State Department with subversive forces in the early 20th century. McCarthy was onto those snakes until they took him down.
I'm about as liberal as they come, but i've gotta say: I love the bounty hunting idea. It's has genius in it's simplicity. Pay for their scalps, and let them destroy each other with in fighting. The weakness of the middle east and islam has always been lack of unity, instead all we've done is help bring sunni and shite together (against us -_-).
I think it is time for me to learn more about Ron Paul's philosophy. I have had several short talks with Paulites at Tea Parties but nothing deep yet.
I may need to educate myself on the man that won the straw poll at CPAC.
@godofmorons why should they when we had plenty of Truther's & Loon's to do that for us.
All the Tea Party stands for now is homophobia, abortionphobia, & illegalphobia if that is Ron Paul's revolution count me out on him as well.
I am looking for a candidate that puts America first, jobs first (for real not just words like Bahama) by lowering regulation & taxes on business, most importantly cutting all governmental spending NOW to reduce the deficit.
@megadumbname you are a little behind the times there pal the Tea Party was about taxes deficits & spending but they have been taken over by the extreme right wing that has spent the last year trying to define "what a REAL conservative is".
I know this because I used to be one of them plus I filmed for them & fought very hard against this philosophical take over.
The only thing they care about now is hating homosexuals, controlling every women's uterus & what country you were born in.
ubetcha i guess you're talking about that sarah palin thing, which has nothing to do with the teapartiers, just an attempt by neocon repubs to label themselves "tea party nation" and bring tea partiers in the republican direction.
godofth tea partiers are against spending trillions on unnecessary wars - many are reformed ex-republicans, who figured out the republican bs was all about feeding the military industrial complex.
godofthis Palin is not a tea partier, and tea party nation is a brand new group that reaks of republican moles. Palin supports Mccains senate bid, and Mccain is a big gov hawk. Tea Partiers are true fiscal conservatives, they don't support unnecessary wars or any kind of big gov spending. They are certainly not republicans or dems, both of those parties support huge govt spending.
Read his book "The Revolution: a manifesto." You'll obtain a deep understanding of this man who is the closest thing to a reincarnation of Thomas Jefferson alive today.
Great analysis! Ron Paul has been very accurate when it comes to our foreign policy. America can not afford this military industrial complex any longer. The time has come for start closing our military bases in 130 countries, end the wars and bring our troops home. Imagine how much we can bring do the deficit and rebuild the infrastructure of America which slowly falling apart. I enjoy reading your columns in the Charleston City Paper every week, Jack even if I dont always agree with you.
Dr. Paul was correct on every subject during the presidential debates and all of the candidates and news jockies were explicitly wrong. The so-called conservative press only wants an "R" in there so he or she will continue to blow smoke up everyones asses and continue to waste money on so-called conservative causes. Bottom line...the government continues to grow under either dems or r's...when will the sheeple ever wake up?
Wow, excellent analysis! I have never heard anyone in the media so sufficiently and accurately describe this pro-war attitude of many conservatives! The mainstream Republican party has decieved its base. Loyalty to America first, party second...or third, fourth, ... last actually! :)
That's great to hear. But I think guys like that need to start their own convention. CPAC has been taken over by the false "small" government neo-cons. And slowly but surely the Tea Parties have been starting to get taken over as well.
@Nawledge1 "People like that" do have their own conventions and conferences. Campaign For Liberty, Mises Institute and the Future for Freedom Foundation all have their own conferences annually and yearly.
Parts of Afganistan, are Free & doing better. As for America? Battle on the Home Front, Till we get the odumbobots & other socialist, out of office! 2010/2012!
Any one with a brain knows 9-11 didn't happen at all, it was just the government machines pumping hypno gas into NYC causing mass hallucinations and a few CGI video clips of planes flying into buildings.
I wonder how the government will explain itself when we find the twin towers INTACT on Venus.
Great stuff as usuaul, Jack. I still don't understand why more otherwise decent folks hand over their libeties to gov't and cheer on murderous foreign wars of imperialism. It would seem that they could see through the BS smoke screen put up by warmongers like Cheney, Bush, Obama, Graham and their destructive ilk.
Whenever I listen to Pat Buchanan or Ron Paul I can't listen too long either or I get sad thinking how there are too few others like them or how few people even give their views a chance before brushing them off as the mainstream media has portrayed them as kooks and racist in order to dismiss their points of views.
Pat has been right on trade and immigration for decades and Ron was the only voice calling for an audit to the Fed or a reduction in our foriegn involvement in my lifetime.

Good points but a little simplistic. People don't feel RP would be "actively" effective on defending the country. I think you underestimate the real danger and motivation of the insurgent enemy and again people don't feel safe with the idea of RP pulling up all the military stakes around the world(and the world probably doesn't either)
Since WW1 I think honestly. The "world" is not separate from our world. It must be monitored and the USA does it in the interest of keeping peace and avoiding war - yes thats right. You are living on Mars if you think otherwise.
How's that "keeping peace and avoiding war" part working? How the fuck is perpetual war keeping peace? There's two groups that believe that shit. One, the corporations profiting from it, and two, the sheep who get their info from the main stream media that's controlled by a handful of corporations whose buddies just happen to own the corporations in the first group. Turn off the TV!
I don't watch TV. Actually I don't think we should be in the Middle East now at all. Biggest waste of time and money ever. I think the current Admin is Communist / Socialist and bent on the ruin of the USA. I already told you I think RP basis is sound and the closest to real Constitutional Government as we are going to get. I hope he DOES become President. HAHA
I am just explaining why he is NOT the President right now. Don't worry I hear you man.
@Thrashfan21 I use the Internet, but I only believe what I read if I can verify it. At last check, about 5 corporations owned all the major news outlets. They spoon feed people everything they want them to believe. Sadly, most people are easily led and believe anything they hear.
Wars are never going to stop. You must have been watching Alice in Wonderland. Listen don't act like there is an easy way out of this war. They did start it by blowing up buildings in NYC -do you remember that? So wise up and come up with answers not flippant comments.
Actually, this was started by US foreign policy dating back to the 1950s. The events of 9/11 were in retaliation for previous acts.
Additionally, I do not recall claiming that "all wars will end" but simply that the US will not find itself constantly entangled in the endless and pointless wars as it has been engaged in for so many decades now.
Nice comeback, but it doesn't tell me how you would deal with Islam. Would you sit back & watch all of your allies become Islamic Caliphates, or would you try to stop Islam NOW, while you have an opportunity to do so?
@VonHelton I have another question for you. There are 55 predominate Muslim countries. In order to "stop Islam" as you put it. Wouldn't the only way that can be possible is Wars eradicating all 55 of those countries and then a hunting down any other country which might be slightly under 50% muslims to kill them as well?
To destroy Islam only takes 1 hellfire missle (an appropriate name, since "hell" is where Islam comes from!)
The big black box called the "Kaba" must be destroyed. You can even do this without killing anyone (except for a few unlucky guards).
The Koran says that "Allah" (Hal-la, the pagan Moon God) will not allow any harm to come to the Kaba. Blow it up & "Allah" is a liar & false god. Simple! And you didn't have to kill anyone!
@VonHelton Wait a minute. Let me get this straight. So you are saying that there is some hidden item called "Kaba". And if this item is destroyed then all of the Muslims in the world will stop worshiping islam? (by the way Christianity is also a Pagan religion) Look at the website "Pagan Orgins of the Christ Myth".
That Kaba is interesting. But if it was desrtroyed isn't it possible that every single Muslim in the world could possibly unite in a holy war? I mean the reaction to it's destruction is not a guarantee. Also "Blowback" has nothing to do with their ideology but more with our foreign intervention. Do you think that we can keep up the same foreign policy with no threat of an attack just as long as the Kaba is destroyed?
and how do you suggest we do this in a CONSTITUTIONAL manner? i can't think of one. the only ways you can "fight" an ideology are orwellian and highly UNconstitutional.
allies? psshhh. fuck them. america only, america first, no one second.
If Islamic civilization holds a desire for world conquest by the sword they are doing an extremely poor job. 4th generation warfare, their method fighting, is a defensive tactic that is completely ineffective as a tool of conquest.
However, the "all-inclusiveness," so to speak, of Europe's Marxian-style immigration policies will likely be their eventual undoing.
As stated previously, the "colonization," which essentially is the avoidance of European governemnts to control immigration, not "terrorism," is what will eventually be the undoing of Europe.
4th generation warfare is ineffective as a tool of conquest.
It isn't a reaction to what happened on 9/11..It is a long standing operation..Read PNAC and Z-Bigs Grand Chess Board..It is a agenda to steal resources-control the opium-launder drug money thru the wall st banks-and to make trillions for the military industrial complex..9/11 was made to happen at the very least and was orchestrated by rogue elements of the CIA-Mossad as Neo-Con & the Controlled Lamestream helped cover it up..
Thanks, Jack at 1:41 when that flag came on the screen pointed down I had a chuckle.
Great piece. I wonder if some time you will get into discussion on the Council on Foreign Relations, and their impact on American Foreign Policy in conjunction with the corporatism theme.
I hope that the US can start pulling out of the Middle East in 5-10 years and be completely out in 20-25. It won't be easy to pull out of Korea because those two countries are unstable with each other. Germany I believe we could be out within 30 years. It took the progressives/liberals a hundred years to get the US to this point and will take at least as long to get out.
I'd like to see Coulter and Cheney get geared up and go fight in Afghanistan. We all know they would be pussies and cry. They're tough guys when they're safe.
Me too! Add Frum, Brooks, Levin, Ladeen, .. all those Straussians glorifying war... Lets send them to the battlefields as soldiers, see how they deal with Al Qaeda themselves. Now that is what I would call "war on terror".
He's wrong on the trials. You can't have military tribunals without a declaration of war and even then the Geneva convention protections apply.
Moreover, it's not the only divergent warmonger view Rand holds. From his website:
"Dr. Paul believes in strong national defense and thinks military spending should be our countrys top budget priority. He has also called for a Constitutional declaration of war with Afghanistan."
Of course not. They don't know and really couldn't care less what we do over here, or how free we are, they only care about what we do over there, and have been doing for about 100 years now. It's quite easy to understand what's really going on in the middle east, but first you have to know the history and you have to realize just how desperate the imperial powers are to control the energy there.
According to the Heritage Society's videos, all of Europe will be. Maybe more people could afford to bring more babies into this world if our economies weren's so f-ed (I mean the productive non-welfare recieving responsible people that should be breeding).
Rand is a sheep dressed in wolves clothing. He wants military trials only for those caught in the battlefield. Not an unreasonable position to take plus it takes away ammunition from the opposition. He plays it up well, brilliant tactic imho.
i don't care if ron paul is a 33rd degree baby-eater as long as his policies are acted on. i've never met the guy so i don't care what he does in his personal life; there are murderers walking around in suits on capital hill and they need to go. a ron paul presidency would start that process.
I've never denied being the president of the United States, does that mean I'm the president then? Some things are just too ridiculous to bother addressing. Besides, nobody is making that claim but you.
I wish I could write this well to express myself..Ron Paul 2012

That Kaba is interesting. But if it was desrtroyed isn't it possible that every single Muslim in the world could possibly unite in a holy war? I mean the reaction to it's destruction is not a guarantee. Also "Blowback" has nothing to do with their ideology but more with our foreign intervention. Do you think that we can keep up the same foreign policy with no threat of an attack just as long as the Kaba is destroyed?

VonHelton,
and how do you suggest we do this in a CONSTITUTIONAL manner? i can't think of one. the only ways you can "fight" an ideology are orwellian and highly UNconstitutional.
allies? psshhh. fuck them. america only, america first, no one second.

Who really wants to conquer the world? I mean really.
fourdoorchevelle 2 years ago
@fourdoorchevelle
Islam does. It says so in the Koran.
VonHelton 2 years ago
it does? where?

@VonHelton i don't have that answer but i do know that we still outnumber any of the criminals in washington.

This year, we need to vote *ALL* of them out.......Put all new people in.
Even if Rockefeller's money corrupts them, it will buy us time, and hopefully we can get real change on Capitol Hill.
VonHelton 2 years ago
Radical Islam does.
nomadak47 2 years ago
If Islamic civilization holds a desire for world conquest by the sword they are doing an extremely poor job. 4th generation warfare, their method fighting, is a defensive tactic that is completely ineffective as a tool of conquest.
However, the "all-inclusiveness," so to speak, of Europe's Marxian-style immigration policies will likely be their eventual undoing.

@Mechanized0
Terrorism & colonization seems to be working just fine to me. By 2035, all of Europe will be an Islamic Caliphate.
VonHelton 2 years ago

Just a thought.

They're tough guys when they're safe.
helpendthefed 2 years ago
Me too! Add Frum, Brooks, Levin, Ladeen, .. all those Straussians glorifying war... Lets send them to the battlefields as soldiers, see how they deal with Al Qaeda themselves. Now that is what I would call "war on terror".
Oh and give them some diapers too.
utubehayter 2 years ago
He's wrong on the trials. You can't have military tribunals without a declaration of war and even then the Geneva convention protections apply.
Moreover, it's not the only divergent warmonger view Rand holds. From his website:
"Dr. Paul believes in strong national defense and thinks military spending should be our countrys top budget priority. He has also called for a Constitutional declaration of war with Afghanistan."

they attack us because we are free...right?
if that's the case, sweden had better watch out.
n66178 2 years ago 8
Of course not. They don't know and really couldn't care less what we do over here, or how free we are, they only care about what we do over there, and have been doing for about 100 years now. It's quite easy to understand what's really going on in the middle east, but first you have to know the history and you have to realize just how desperate the imperial powers are to control the energy there.
n8glenn 2 years ago 4
Who told you that Sweden was free? Don't worry, they are getting it already.
steve0281 2 years ago
@steve0281
Sweden will be an Islamic Caliphate by 2025 if they don't deport the Muslims.
VonHelton 2 years ago
According to the Heritage Society's videos, all of Europe will be. Maybe more people could afford to bring more babies into this world if our economies weren's so f-ed (I mean the productive non-welfare recieving responsible people that should be breeding).

Rand isn't hawkish. He's sounding like his dad which is awesome! He just disagrees on where to have trials. That's it!

Foreign terrorists do not deserve the protections of our Constitution, said Dr Paul
billyjoeallen 2 years ago
Rand is a sheep dressed in wolves clothing. He wants military trials only for those caught in the battlefield. Not an unreasonable position to take plus it takes away ammunition from the opposition. He plays it up well, brilliant tactic imho.

So is Ron Paul......RP is a 33rd degree Mason, and has NEVER denied it.
VonHelton 2 years ago
Where did you hear that?
KagarBeardtooth 2 years ago
i don't care if ron paul is a 33rd degree baby-eater as long as his policies are acted on. i've never met the guy so i don't care what he does in his personal life; there are murderers walking around in suits on capital hill and they need to go. a ron paul presidency would start that process.

I've never denied being the president of the United States, does that mean I'm the president then? Some things are just too ridiculous to bother addressing. Besides, nobody is making that claim but you.
