CO2's absorption spectra peaks near the wavelength of the outgoing thermal radiation from our planet, thereby CO2 interacts with such radiation, delaying its escape out to space. However what you fail to understand is the magnitude of this effect. A doubling of CO2 alone, not considering other processes, will increase the average temperature of the atmosphere by about one degree. Some processes amplify this, some act against.
Computer models assume that processes that amplify the initial CO2 warming dominate our atmospheric system, however this may not be the case. If you compare the computer model predictions to reality, you will find they predict much higher temperatures than we see today, and they do not predict any lull in warming at all (like we've had for the past 10+years). This is definitely contrary to those assumptions about feedbacks. I call you a fake environmentalist because you think CO2=pollution
CO2 is an essential gas for plant life. In fact increased atmospheric CO2 has caused a greening of the earth as we can see the effect during the satellite era. @chotaboy66 I don't particularly like the banks that much, but I don't think it is in the banks interest to bring Australia down. If anything, most of the world economic problems now are cause by banks being incompetent and taking ridiculous risks with large sums of the country's money, not fraud based conspiracies. I don't understand how this carbon tax links to bank fraud and extortion, your sentences were somewhat incoherent.

@marsglorious 99% of all tax is a consequence of your local banks stealing circulation by a purposeful obfuscation of our very own promissory obligations to each other on our personal loans. Banks today are nothing more than modern day money changers & they steal circulation by pretending to loan us money . Simply putting it we create all the money when we purport to borrow from a bank , the banks steal this money & launder it by a interbank lending process thus its loaned back as national debt.
