Hey you guys, listen bluetarako and greenifyme need help. Apparently most of the animators have left. They just have a few scenes and backgrounds to do. They can really use some a hand. You can animate by any means please visit they at their website and give they a holla. Zutara and Taang fans would hate to see this project end when they are close to finishing it.
I'm confused at how the Maiko and the Kataang were forced in the end... They didn't feel forced to me. And just becaues you let go of something doesn't mean that you can't end up having it, in the end--not that they explored that aspect much past the season 2 finale.
I'm all for this - heck, I wrote my own fanfic to "fix" season 3 & go a different direction because I thought it could have been so much better than it was - so if you do it, more power to ya! Zutara 4ever!
Now I DID feel that Bryke shouldnt have put in the 'let go of all Earthly Attachments' IF in the end he was going to be hit with that rock. THAT did irk me.
I'm a Zutarian but coming on Zutarian videos and bashing the hsipping makes you even worse than the rabid Zutarian fangirls who bash Kataang videos. I just say 'You do you and I do me.' So dont worry about what the Zutarians do. Just worry about you. Kataang/Maiko are canon, be happy.
But like someone said, 'Shipping Wars' will ALWAYS happen. From Harry Potter to Lord of the Rings to most animes. But we ALL can be respectful of each other. So if you think it's 'pointless', just say 'Well, good luck' and move on. Dont stay on and argue. Move on.
So, in conclusion, I am a Zutarian and I say, let them do what they want. Yes, everyone has their own opinion but bashing and name calling ISNT right.
Oh! And one last thing: Zutara DOES exist but it wasnt the way that we wanted it. EVERY shipping exists but it sometimes doesnt go as we want it but atleast we can say that it was there.
yeah i agree w/ that. wat was the point of the whole letting go of the attachments if he was going to get stabbed by the rock? it seemd like a cheap way to still get a kataang ending in their (cuz if aang didnt get stabbd, he woulda had to 'let go' of katara to get into the avatar state, thus eliminating kataang as a possibility)....fucking rock lol

This is an amazing project--a dream come true--and I would like to know where fans will get to watch it when you're finished with it. Will it cost money? Basically you want to get into Zuko's pants so you project yourselves onto Katara and use her as a surrogate so you can be with Zuko by proxy.

I'm not really real for one side or the other. I definitely wanted a Zutara ending, but I also realize that the creators know a lot more about the story they're writing than we do, and am actually starting to like some kataang.

I left the ones that brought up valid points and used their words to argue even if they were hateful in nature it was the posts that consisted of "f-u" and what not that I removed. I can't figure out why you'd want to use something as labor-intensive, time consuming, and brain-meltingly difficult as animation - which it seems like you guys have no experience with.
Finger puppets would be so much easier and faster.
I think it's just going to be a lot of sloppy motion tweens and anime lip synch. To draw a still image as good as the animators have come out with is hard enough in and of itself...
I'd rather not just sit back and watch a bunch of rabid fanbrats raep Bryke's story and characters, tear it to pieces and defecate on it so that some different makeout scenes happen. "You did it wrong, we know your characters and your story better than you ever could" doesn't sit well with me. If I were Bryke, I'd have created a YouTube/DA account and chewed them out somethin' FIERCE by now. But Bryke have more poise than that and so will react more along the lines of "LOL ZUTARA."
1) Taking 2:15 to get to the actual point of the video - not good.
2) "Remaking" the finale to reflect Zutara is a perfectly good idea for a fan project BUT billing it as something to fix nonexistent plot holes is just asking for wank. "Alternate ending" is the term you're looking for.
3) Mike and Bryan owe you nothing. They made an awesome show. Love it for what it is. Don't hate it for what it's not.

There was no forced shipping. All the fans, staff, and writers knew all along that this is how it was going to end. It was set in stone even before the first episode aired - it was set in stone when they produced the pilot. Yeah, bad news for you. The one and only plot hole left in the entire story is who was Yan Rha's source in the Southern Water Tribe. Anything else is addressed in the Director's Commentary and they make it abundantly clear that these issues are left to the imagination of the fans. No spinoff series of Zuko looking for Ursa, just your imagination.

I'd rather not just sit back and watch a bunch of rabid fanbrats raep Bryke's story and characters, tear it to pieces and defecate on it so that some different makeout scenes happen. "You did it wrong, we know your characters and your story better than you ever could" doesn't sit well with me. If I were Bryke, I'd have created a YouTube/DA account and chewed them out somethin' FIERCE by now. But Bryke have more poise than that and so will react more along the lines of "LOL ZUTARA."

1) Taking 2:15 to get to the actual point of the video - not good.
2) "Remaking" the finale to reflect Zutara is a perfectly good idea for a fan project BUT billing it as something to fix nonexistent plot holes is just asking for wank. "Alternate ending" is the term you're looking for.
3) Mike and Bryan owe you nothing. They made an awesome show. Love it for what it is. Don't hate it for what it's not.

It was set in stone even before the first episode aired - it was set in stone when they produced the pilot. Yeah, bad news for you. The one and only plot hole left in the entire story is who was Yan Rha's source in the Southern Water Tribe. Anything else is addressed in the Director's Commentary and they make it abundantly clear that these issues are left to the imagination of the fans. No spinoff series of Zuko looking for Ursa, just your imagination.
