great playing in all ur demos! im a proud owner of a fantom x7 keyboard for 3 years and I honestly would be lying if I didnt say I never give the fantom xs organ and orchestral sounds the credit they deserve. I mainly create sounds from scratch to keep myself busy
you must be the person who is hired to create all the demo's for all these name brand keyboards LOL. Great playing skills. Looking to get the fantom xr module soon. thanks for the sample clips.
You seem to get such excellent tones from the acoustic pianos on this rack. I recently bought one, but all the acoustic piano sounds are very mid-eq heavy and muddled and get lost in the mix for live performances. Do you tweak the patches somehow? The "So True" sounds excellent on your rig...
I did not tweak the patches at all, nor did I use any external effects or EQ. When I got the Fantom I was originally unimpressed with the piano sounds - I preferred the Motif. But over time the Fantom pianos have grown on me, and I've become to like them more.
Great to see you playing familiar riffs....Jump et all. Nice module. Gear lust never ends. I have the M3 and Motif with Radius and An boards installed..Plenty of power in those but immediate gratification cannot be underestimated. I can see how the sounds inspire you and you fit your improvs to the sound. Always impressive and worth a listen. Thanks for posting.
Thanks - I have a Korg Micro X that I've done some demos of. I wouldn't mind trying an M3 or whatever, but would need to figure out what I'd have to sell in order to be able to get one.
I have never played the Triton rack. And it really isn't fair to compare the Motif Rack with the Fantom XR, because I have the original Motif Rack with sounds that are eight years old. The Fantom XR has many more sounds and I'd have to say it might be more preferable, but the Motif Rack still has great acoustic and electric pianos, as well as organ sounds, that I love.
What's the name of song in 02:57?

@GFACE83 Yes.

wow...these are some great sounds.
Never messed with racks really, can you actually tweak/edit those preset patches in any way?
Not through a DAW...i mean with the fantom rack itself.
I'm just curious if a rack offers tweaking features cuz i don't know anything about it.
Aykeybeatz 2 years ago
Yes, you can edit them. There's even an editor program available.

Awesome demo. Does this have a sequencer or an arpeggiator?
KOMPOSTIPIANO 2 years ago
The Fantom XR rack unit does NOT have a sequencer or arpeggiator. You'd have to buy a Fantom workstation to get those kind of features.
keybdwizrd 2 years ago
It does have an arpeggiator though, here are the specs:
Arpeggiator Preset: 128, User:
128 n Rhythm Pattern Preset: 256 (32 groups), User: 256 (32 groups) n Chord
Memory Preset: 64, User: 64

Yes, you're right, I was mistaken, although I have never played with it. I need to do that. :)

His demo of the sound "Wide Ac Gtr" reminds me of his piece "Sherwood Two". it sounds similar.

Peace out

Ok! Thanks for your response. I found a Korg M-50 at a very low price. I think I'll go for that one. Btw, props, your playing HELLA good!
