  • I noticed I answer you

  • @babys500 Sorry, I still don't understand you. Try using Google Translate or just write in your own language and I will translate it because your English doesn't make any sense.

  • My autistic brother acts the same way like the boy in the video

  • I am starting to potty train my almost 4 year old autistic little boy. Some days he is doing great but others are not so great. I guess it just takes time and LOTS of HARD work!!! Your little boy is a good talker. Mine is pretty much nonverbal.

  • He is a little bit like my daughter personality wise. Check her out. Her name is Abigail. She is five. She just potty trained. I thought it would never happen, but it is possible. Your son is sweet. Abigail is on my channel.

  • @lizardbreath1981 I saw your channel and your daughter is adorable! :) How did you get her to potty train? We are having a tough time training our son.

  • @sweetfacesofautism I tried all sorts of stuff to potty train her, and nothing worked. However, she had been staying dry at night and would stay dry for several hours during the day, so, I started putting some cotton training pants with the plastic on the outside (walmart) on her and told her they were for big girls. After around two hours of her being dry, I would get nervous and put a diaper back on her, not wanting her to have an accident. I encouraged her to go sit on the potty also.

  • @sweetfacesofautism So, a couple times a day, I would put the training pants on her, then after I put a diaper on her, I noticed she would almost immediately need to be changed, even though she stayed dry with the training pants. So, I realized that she WAS holding it until she got the diaper back on. lol. So, I put the training pants on for longer, and yes, we did have accidents, and it made me want to give up, but I didn't. I cant say how long it took, because she had alot of accidents.

  • @lizardbreath1981 I would say though, that it maybe only took around two to three weeks before the accidents stopped. I had to tell her, go sit on the toilet! She didnt tell me that she had to go. But now, she does. It is wonderful.. The doctor had told me that she may never potty train, or that she would be A LOT older when it happened. Good luck!

  • So precious my son is 5 also he can recite entire books from memory see it on dave01568 channel I'm so proud I had to tell you

  • @DAVE01568 That's awesome!

  • do you know what type of autism your son has? my son does alot of things your son does. and they dont really know what to tell me. because he does talk but its just like your son but your son seems a bit more advanced at it than mine. and mine will be 5 in december. my son doesnt say many sentences. and he still doesnt know colors or numbers or letters. he is obsessed with trucks and transformers and still isnt potty trained. IF YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE please email me? peachesjeni_1818@yahoo

  • @peachesjeni1818 Yes, I do know. Last October his neurologist wanted an Autism Rating Scale done to see where Wyatt falls on the spectrum. The test was performed by myself, a psychologist, his teacher & his therapists. The scores were averaged (they were nearly identical) and it showed that he's severely autistic. I was not surprised in the least because I pretty much knew at that point. However, at the time the test was done, he was nonverbal. He talks now but not really conversationally.

  • Your son's sooooo cute. I always wonder why do people who apparently have no heart say such nasty comments it just gets on my nerves, anyways have you ever tried hippo therapy because I know children especially autistic children can bond with horses and other animals, or deep pressure like a hug or a squeez can help.

  • @abab123x Unfortunately, he doesn't like to be touched so giving him a hug is difficult. He has to initiate it. He did go on a school field trip to a farm last year where he got to ride a horse. He didn't freak out but he didn't look like he was having a grand time either. LOL.

  • He's just doing so good! Every video it seems like he's talking more. He's so cute.

  • @mustang19898 Thanks so much! He used to be so miserable and have meltdowns all the time but he has become so happy since he was about 3 1/2 years old. He is such a joy. :D
