No, he's on the bench because Coach Brown is an idiot who has no clue on how to develop young talent. Shannon started 3 times in LJ's absence (16 pt avg) & benched after LJ's return. His ball handling is no secret, but it's improving, he's a lot faster & a hell of a lot more athletic than the majority of players on the roster (couldn't deny that if you tried). As far as point guard, you can't make him be what he's not. He's an undersized SG with a scorer's mentality.

Why is it that you have all this love for Shannon Brown, the league is crawling with athletic guys who can attack the rim but have no jump shot, can not defend, and no concept of where they are suppose to be on the floor. That is why he has been in the d league a lot of his career. By the way, the three times he started and averaged 16 points, the Cavs lost, so have fun with that small victory. Linas Kleiza had a 40 point game early this year. Scoring a few buckets doesnt mean shit!
