The only reason it handles turns better is because any new muscle car in general is essentially a tuner with a v8 in it. All these computers and catalytic converters and fuel injection systems take alot of power out of the motor. A muscle car is supposed to be a mean mother fucker, not a tame town car with a nice body. That hooker's got the looks but not the heart of gold like the classic challenger. Fuck puttin computers in cars.

I think the weight of the car lets it down. At 2 tons its losing alot of acceleration and gas mileage, it also needs a better suspension system for all that mass.
The black ones with some black chrome rims look really good. I looked at a couple today but they are all automatics. Even the SRT8 with the 6.1 was an auto. They are big though. But i think it still looks pretty damn good. Except for the fake carbon fiber sticker stripes on the hood.

I really think ford, gm, and chevy are making their new muscle about 600-1000 lbs too heavy, and doing the suspension like it's gonna keep up in circuit races but these cars are known for their high hp which takes a hit with all that weight. If they were awd like they did the old 3000gts then the weight wouldn't matter but rwding something 4000+? you'll need about 900 horse to make that sucker jump get on in a quick way.

What a heap, looks like they got the clay mould, and then couldn't be bothered to style it. When are the yanks going to give us a car than can go round bends? 0-60 in 5.1 seconds? What engine size is it 1.8 litre? The UK makes a car that does 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, has the same power to weight ratio as a Bugatti Veyron, and only has a 2.0 litre engine and will still do over 30 MPG. It's no wonder Chrysler are going bust when they build cars like this...

A lot of Brits do drive French cars, in fact nearly everyone in the UK drives a car from any other country in Europe except Britain! I drive Italian personally. Not many Brit makes left now, the ones that do still exist are awesomely fast, like the Ascari A10. BTW Koenigsegg CCX has a 4.7 litre engine yet produces 1018 BHP, imagine what they could do with an 8 litre!
i own an 08 challenger and just let me tell you it is the sickest car ever. in a street race the challenger blew the doors off a new corvette with ease. its got electric cutouts on it and is in the shop getting a super charger installed that will give it over 700 horsepower... now thats pure muscle. also the car will go over 300 km/h and it still handles nicely at this speed. GM is not going to come out with any new car because they will be broke soon, GM DONT HAVE THE JAM!
The coolness factor of this car is through the roof! Every time I see one my jaw drops. The Inferno Red color is my favorite so far. Cant wait to drive one ! :)

It is a 4 door family car...except it's a 2 door hardtop, with a big block and I don't know of many 4 door family cars that can run 0-60 in 5.1, I'm sure your 1993 eclipse with the 4" exhaust would smoke this.

Chrysler has already announced that they have scrapped the Viper's planned re-design in 2011 and most people take that to mean the end of the Viper. What they plan to replace it with is anyone's guess but their recent shocking announcement about having 3 electric vehicles coming out shows they are great at keeping secrets.

What a heap, looks like they got the clay mould, and then couldn't be bothered to style it. When are the yanks going to give us a car than can go round bends? 0-60 in 5.1 seconds? What engine size is it 1.8 litre? The UK makes a car that does 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, has the same power to weight ratio as a Bugatti Veyron, and only has a 2.0 litre engine and will still do over 30 MPG. It's no wonder Chrysler are going bust when they build cars like this...

A lot of Brits do drive French cars, in fact nearly everyone in the UK drives a car from any other country in Europe except Britain! I drive Italian personally. Not many Brit makes left now, the ones that do still exist are awesomely fast, like the Ascari A10. BTW Koenigsegg CCX has a 4.7 litre engine yet produces 1018 BHP, imagine what they could do with an 8 litre!

i own an 08 challenger and just let me tell you it is the sickest car ever. in a street race the challenger blew the doors off a new corvette with ease. its got electric cutouts on it and is in the shop getting a super charger installed that will give it over 700 horsepower... now thats pure muscle. also the car will go over 300 km/h and it still handles nicely at this speed. GM is not going to come out with any new car because they will be broke soon, GM DONT HAVE THE JAM!

The coolness factor of this car is through the roof! Every time I see one my jaw drops. The Inferno Red color is my favorite so far. Cant wait to drive one ! :)

My dream car. Beautiful car...no doubt. I've waited for this for 20 years. But one problem...it's too heavy...4,100+ pounds too much weight. I hope they drop 1,000 pounds in the upcoming models then you will get some serious performance.

It is a 4 door family car...except it's a 2 door hardtop, with a big block and I don't know of many 4 door family cars that can run 0-60 in 5.1, I'm sure your 1993 eclipse with the 4" exhaust would smoke this.

Chrysler has already announced that they have scrapped the Viper's planned re-design in 2011 and most people take that to mean the end of the Viper. What they plan to replace it with is anyone's guess but their recent shocking announcement about having 3 electric vehicles coming out shows they are great at keeping secrets.
